Tonight we’re going to be live recapping the second episode of Big Brother 27 as the Houseguests try to figure out the mystery Accomplice (we’ve got our guess here). The show kicks off at 8/7c for another 90-minute episode and we can’t wait to find out what happens next!
Vince has taken over as the first Head of Household of the season which means we’ve also got some nominations coming up here shortly. The HOH will have to name three HGs to sit on the Block, just like last year thanks to the Arena, and one of them will escape the danger zone on Thursday night before the other two face the live vote.
Along with all the action tonight on the show the real excitement should be from the start of the Big Brother Live Feeds after the west coast broadcast concludes (9:30PM PT / 12:30AM ET). Make sure you’ve got your Paramount subscription up and running
I’ll be live recapping right here on this post starting at 8PM ET as we discover who heads to the Block in Week 1 and which HG is confirmed as the Accomplice. Will the Mastermind take some time off this week or will that odd red masked menace be sticking around each show for a few weeks? Tonight we’ll find out more!
We pick up as the Big Brother HGs are trying to figure out who may be the Accomplice. Lots of worrying and everyone is a suspect! The mob mentality leads a bulk of them to think it’s Rylie or Zae. Lauren catches on to the balance of more women versus men which makes her think it’s a woman, not one of the guys, because if ejected we’d still have a balanced cast. I think she’s right!
Mastermind reveals the HGs’ votes: 5 against Zae and 11 against Rylie. That makes the majority vote to be Rylie. Were they correct? … NO! Rylie is not the Accomplice. So who was? Fans were right! It’s AMY! She reveals in the Diary Room that she started the timer and yes, that was a remote in her pocket that she used to zap the HOH Relic. Mystery solved days ago! But the HGs inside won’t know Amy was the real troublemaker, that’ll be a mystery for them.
Now it’s time for champagne and introductions in the living room. Time for the HGs to get to know it each other.
Next, Vince has a letter from the Hotel Mystere manager… Rachel’s room isn’t ready and she has to stay in the HN room as a result. Break out the shocked faces all around! But to make it up to her she’ll be safe this first week. Now Rachel gets to pick the first person of 3 to join her and then each in the chain will pick the next. Rachel picks Will. Will picks Zach. Zach picks Ava (although he initially wants to pick Lauren for romantic reasons). All four of these HGs will be safe this week! Time to meet their Have-Not room… Oh my, that’s awful.
Now we get another twist! Remember that $10K Zach won for finding Julie? Turns out he can turn that cash over to the HOH to save himself from the Block anytime before the Jury cutoff. He’d only do this if he felt in danger for his game (if you’re on the Block on Thursday night, then you’re in danger girl!). The HOH can not refuse this offer and Zach must then be replaced. If he doesn’t have to use the cash for a swap then he gets to keep it at the end of the season. Nice twist!
Now Vince has to work through his options to lock down his nominations. He sets a F2 with Kelley and she immediately suggests he put her up on the Block as a pawn. Wait, what?? Will he go for it? Many of the HGs are suggesting Ashley after she took a two-hour (??) shower in the HOH room. Couple that with Amy who was very worried about Ashley which tipped Vince to realize they were aligning and then toss in a workout-bro for good measure and you’ve got your Noms in Week 1!
