Big Brother 26: Veto Ceremony Plans for Week 10

It is Veto Ceremony Day inside the Big Brother 26 house! Makensy is the Head of Household this week and she initially nominated Kimo and Angela for eviction with Angela being the target for Week 10 of Big Brother. The Veto Competition played out on Saturday and now it’s time to find out the plans for this week’s Veto Ceremony for BB26.

After Makensy went on to win this week’s Veto Competition, it was safe to assume that the Veto would not be used for the first time this season. In fact, Makensy’s plan after she won was to keep the nominations the same, and the HGs were set to vote out Angela. However, this plan took a turn after some conversations inside the Big Brother house on Sunday.

Makensy and Angela have had a pretty decent relationship in recent weeks after working through the drama from Week 1 when Angela nominated Matt which led to his eviction. In fact, they had agreed not to nominate each other if they won HOH and it seemed as though Makensy, Leah, and Angela had a pretty close working relationship for a couple of weeks.

Then Makensy started working closely with Chelsie and Cam and her relationship with Leah and Angela took a back seat. Leah and Angela still felt pretty safe this week after Makensy told Leah she wouldn’t put her up and lied to Angela claiming she was a pawn to get Kimo out this week. Makensy also mentioned that she couldn’t be the one to nominate Leah because if she did, she would lose Jury votes in the event she made it to F2.

On Sunday, Cam and Chelsie convinced Makensy that the opposite was actually true and that the Jury would respect her more for taking out Leah than Angela. They also pitched that Leah didn’t have Makensy’s back as much as she thinks. Chelsie suggested that Leah was starting to get nervous about Angela being voted out this week and if that happened, Leah would try to pull Rubina and Kimo in closer to her.

After her conversation with Chelsie and Cam, Makensy told Rubina that she was thinking about using the Veto on Kimo and renom’ing Leah in his place. Makensy asks Rubina if she thinks this is a good idea and Rubina agrees that it might be best to get Leah out while they have the chance to.

Chelsie and Rubina also had a conversation about this plan in the backyard and Leah was standing on the balcony. It’s unclear if Leah heard any of their conversation, but when she came downstairs from the balcony, Rubina and Chelsie stopped talking. This caused Leah to get nervous and she went right up to Makensy to tell her that she heard them whispering and then stopped talking when she came downstairs.

Later, Leah went to talk to Makensy and explained that she heard something being said about her and Angela. Makensy told Leah that she hasn’t decided what to do with the Veto, but that she really doesn’t want to use it and Leah pushed that it would be really bad for both their games if Angela was the one voted out this week.

Late last night, Makensy told Angela that she would be using the Veto and renom’ing Leah. Not sure why she felt this was a good idea, but Angela suggests that Makensy talk to Leah before the Veto Ceremony. Makensy explains that she thinks it would be best for her not to. Saying it would only make things worse.

At Monday’s Veto Ceremony, we could expect Makensy to stick to the plan of saving Kimo with the Veto and renom’ing Leah in his place. Leaving the duo of Angela and Leah on the block together.

Be on the lookout for confirmation after the Veto Ceremony takes place. In the meantime, let us know what you think of this plan!
