On Sunday night’s episode of Big Brother 26 we learned who the AI Instigator is and saw them make their first strike. Oh, and we also got to see the latest Head of Household competition play out and see an unusual edit that made it look like the new Head of Household has no target.
The episode picks up after Brooklyn’s eviction. Tucker is happy that the Pentagon is down to a triangle and Chelsie is happy she won the AI Arena competition. Tucker then tells Cam that if he was still on the block with Chelsie, he was probably going home. That was news to Cam, but Cam barely reacts to anything in the game, so we can’t be sure how he really feels.
Meanwhile, everyone is feeling guilty for sending Brooklyn out for some reason. That seems to be the theme this season. They send someone out then seem to regret their decisions.
It’s time for the Head of Household competition. For this HOH comp, the players have to watch some clips and memorize as much as they can and then they’ll be asked true or false questions. The last person standing is the new Head of Household.
After round one, Angela and Quinn are out.
Following round two, Leah, Kimo, Makensy and Cam are eliminated.
Those knocked out in round three are Joseph, Chelsie and Rubina. That leaves T’Kor. So T’Kor is the new Head of Household.
And that was probably the fastest Head of Household competition I’ve ever seen. If this had aired at the end of Thursday’s episode, Julie would have panicked and then they’d all have been called back into the living room for Julie to ask them stupid questions to fill out the remaining episode time.
So now the question is, what is T’Kor going to do this week? And even she doesn’t seem to know the answer. She tells Kimo and Rubina she’s going to need their help.
But first, it’s time to find out who the AI Instigator is. And it’s Tucker! And his first instigation is through a Quinn hologram. And Fake Quinn calls out the Tucker and Rubina showmance. And it makes Rubina cry. Oops. Tucker probably didn’t expect that. Tucker lets us know that he really just wanted to put that whole thing out in the open so they could stop hiding and put an end to the rumors. And none of the houseguests know what is going on because no one was told what this is about. They aren’t sure if this is for a competition or if this is some new power America voted on.
Now back to HOH business. T’Kor gets started on her conversations to figure out who she’s going to nominate for eviction this week. And she’s not really getting much from anyone. And she wants to use Tucker as a pawn. He doesn’t really want to go up, but he said if she really needs to put him up he can’t offer to the other HOHs and not offer himself to her. He lets us know in the Diary Room that he doesn’t want to do it, but he cares so much for T’Kor that he would be willing to make it easier for her by going up.
Then Angela comes into the HOH room in tears telling T’Kor, Kimo and Rubina that she feels like she’s going home. They tell her that hasn’t even been discussed.
So at the nomination ceremony, T’Kor takes the easy route and goes with Makensy, Cam and Tucker.
And now for some editorialization. There has been some speculation that this whole time T’Kor’s target has been Tucker. That’s why she wanted him to go up as a “pawn” and then tells us there is no real target this week. She has not said those words to anyone openly – not even on the live feeds – but that is the popular theory among fans.
