Izzy Gleicher continues to keep me entertained on Big Brother 25 even if she is a bit over the top for some of the Houseguests’ tastes. But what about her seemingly unwavering dedication to being an honorary member of the Fields family? Is she too close to the forest to see the trees on this one or does she know the risks she’s running? It might be the latter after all.
Earlier today on the Big Brother Live Feeds we found Izzy talking with Jared in Storage and after he left she took a moment to camtalk for herself and relay a message back to Paige, her girlfriend back home.

“Am I putting Cirie and Jared above me winning? I mean, not yet. I need them, I want them. [long pause] But am I going to lose because I’m putting them first, or something?”
After a reflective moment Izzy looks to the camera and adds a message to back home. “Paige, I promise, baby I promise that every step of the way I’m doing what’s good for me to win and also feel like I’m playing the way I want to play, because that feels important to winning. And feels important to being confident to sitting in those Final 2 chairs and talking to the Jury and saying why you should win, because you played the way you should’ve…”
“Damn, I wish I could talk to you, look at you. I wish you could tell me I’m doing okay and you’re not disappointed in me. I need Cirie and Jared. I need them. This house would be so lonely.”
Okay, so that’s interesting. It’s good to hear some self awareness from Izzy after weeks of watching her seemingly worship the ground Cirie has walked upon. But if she knows they’re a threat to her game, and truly every other HG should be seen that way to some extent, then there is hope for a future turning point where Izzy says she has to cut them. Wowza, that’d be a “get to steppin'” moment.
