Big Brother 23 Live Feeds Week 1: Monday Night Highlights

It was finally a pretty calm and quiet evening in the Big Brother 23 house following the Veto meeting and the unofficial end of Frenchie’s Head of Household reign. Of course there were some Live Feeds downtime, so we didn’t have a very active evening. We should see some campaigning from Alyssa and Travis over the next couple of days though, so we expect this lull to be brief.

Big Brother 23 Live Feed Highlights – Monday, July 12, 2021:

4:30 PM BBT – Brent and Frenchie discuss the Slaughterhouse alliance. Brent says they ride it out until Top 8 and if they still don’t trust Kyland by then he can be the first of the alliance to go.

4:50 PM BBT – Derek X tells Tiffany that Travis has been doing a pretty good job campaigning already. She says and he still has three days left so he might be able to pull it off. Tiffany implies she and Claire would vote for Travis to stay since they’re on his team.

5:34 PM BBT – Derek F tries to reel Frenchie in. He tells him he needs to calm down a bit before their team becomes a target.

5:40 PM BBT – Frenchie calls a Slaughterhouse meeting to make the alliance official just so it can be caught on camera for an upcoming episode.

5:44 PM BBT – Frenchie tells Alyssa that he is certain the vote will be unanimous to evict Travis unless Derek X votes to keep Travis. Alyssa says DX told her he would vote to keep her.

6:45 PM BBT – Frenchie asks Tiffany if she’s going to try hard for HOH. She says yes because she doesn’t want to be a Have-Not and since her team will be down a player, she’s nervous. Frenchie says he doesn’t think anyone is going to attack her team and adds that Travis just had to go. Tiffany says she doesn’t mind Travis going. Frenchie says he really likes Travis but people put a lot of pressure on him to nominate Travis.

6:57 PM BBT – HGs are in the kitchen cooking, having dinner, chit-chatting.

7:37 PM BBT – Everyone is sitting around talking about how people say certain words differently.

8:23 PM BBT – HGs still sitting around the kitchen and a game of “would you rather?” starts up.

10:45 PM BBT – Frenchie worries to Derek F that he’s going to need to play for the Wildcard safety next week. DF tells him to wait and see first who gets HOH so he doesn’t waste his one shot at winning it when he might not need it.

11:00 PM BBT – Sarah revealing to Kyland about the Jackpot alliance (with Tiffany and Claire) and he shares details on the Slaughterhouse alliance (8-members).

11:15 PM BBT – Kyland tells Sarah he thinks Frenchie might be the best gamer in the house. Sarah quickly shoots that theory down saying he’s emotional, messy, and she doesn’t trust him.

11:30 PM BBT – Tiffany and Azah agree that Brent would be their target next week with Derek X as the other nom. Tiffany says if she has to do a renom she’d use Whitney because she is the top woman she wants gone.

11:45 PM BBT – HGs are all gathered in the living room to continue playing a game of “would you rather?”

11:52 PM BBT – Tiffany asks Derek X if he feels good about his decision today. He says he feels OK about it. It seems Travis has no hard feeling against DX now that he’s the new nominee.

12:14 AM BBT – Frenchie says that people can’t lie to him. He asks some of the HGs to try to tell him a lie and see if they can do it. Hannah tells him a fake lie about who she’s working with, actually revealing who she’s working with. I’m not sure if that’s going to backfire on her or not …

12:20 AM BBT – Some of the HGs have written a song about what has happened in the game so far and are performing it at a house meeting.

12:45 AM BBT – HGs sharing their cringe-worthy pickup lines.

1:30 AM BBT – HGs discussing their favorite past Houseguests.

2:15 AM BBT – Alyssa tells Frenchie she’d plan to nominate Hannah with Derek X and she can justify that because DX used the Veto on Kyland and Hannah said she’d vote to keep Kyland over her. Frenchie wants to BD DX.

2:45 AM BBT – Xavier and Alyssa discuss which HG would be a good match for each of them, but both decline the other’s suggestions. Alyssa doesn’t think they’ll see a showmance this season.

3:00 AM BBT – Xavier says he gets asked a lot in DR about having a showmance.

3:15 AM BBT – HGs getting ready for bed.

3:35 AM BBT – Brent tells Christian and Kyland that a woman needs to go next week to keep the numbers balanced.

4:15 AM BBT – Christian and Kyland wrap up their light game talk. Christian says he’s glad Kyland is safe this week, Kyland says the same. Christian heads to bed leaving just Kyland up.

A much calmer night than the one before as the Veto meeting has settled the week’s nominations with Travis and Alyssa. Looks like Alyssa should be safe and now HGs are ready to look ahead to their next moves. Frenchie is going to feel pretty stressed heading into this next one, but let’s see what happens with HOH first and we’ve still got a couple of days’ rest before all that.
