No one has an easy time playing Big Brother. It’s a stressful game that’s emotionally and mentally taxing. Sometimes it’s even physically draining, but it can be a rewarding game, especially for the winner. Many BB superfans dream of entering the house and game. Lauren is one of those people who really wanted to play Big Brother. Her dream is currently happening. Everyone knows that any good dream can also become a nightmare.
This is potentially the case for Lauren. She won this week’s Head of Household Competition. The excitement immediately wore off when she began to ponder her nominees. The day officially took off right after Lauren won the competition. Jimmy and Vince gave her some advice on how to run her Head of Household.
They also discussed nominations with her. Lauren knew to play it safe by targeting Kelley and Keanu this week. They have already been on the block, and Keanu is basically the house target, and Kelley is not rubbing people the right way. Those two nominees were an easy decision. The tough part came with the third nominee.
She mentioned Will because they hadn’t talked game. However, Will is very liked in the Big Brother 27 house, and he’s also part of her The Bond alliance. People also in that alliance, like Ava, didn’t understand why they were already using their people as pawns. As the day progresses, many others try to push their agenda and targets.
Vince tries to push for an Ashley nomination because he doesn’t exactly have a game or personal relationship with her. He also worries she may target him if given the chance. People, like Mickey, who don’t want to see Will on the block suggested Adrian. Keanu and Kelley also tried to push a little towards a Rachel nomination.
Kelley also mentioned Jimmy. All these names, suggestions, and fear of making too many people upset caused Lauren to have a more emotional reaction to her Head of Household. She broke down crying a few times before making nominations. Several houseguests comforted Lauren, and Ava even let her know that she wasn’t holding anything against her for nominating Will.
During the nomination ceremony, Lauren stuck to her initial nomination plan and nominated Keanu, Kelley, and Will. The house would prefer Keanu or Kelley leaving, so as long as one doesn’t win the Power of Veto, and the other doesn’t win the BB Block Buster, Lauren should have a simple week.
However, the Power of Veto may make Lauren face another tough decision. Lauren may regret winning Head of Household this time, but she’ll hopefully handle it better if she wins it again in Big Brother 27.
