Da’Vonne broke her losing streak when she won the Big Brother 22 Power of Veto this week. And even though it was a tiny veto, it had full power. And she made sure not to waste it.
Tuesday night’s episode picked up right after the nomination ceremony. Dani nominated David and Kevin, but Tyler isnโt too convinced thereโs not a backdoor Tyler plan in motion.ย David lets us know heโs not at all worried about the nominations because he is going to use his Disruptor Power. So Tylerโs fears might come true sooner rather than later.
And while the houseguests are just chilling, theyโre alerted that the Disruptor Power has been unleashed. Dani starts freaking out right away. She already knows sheโs going to have to name a replacement nominee.
After the players meet in the kitchen, the announcer says that David has been saved from being nominated this week. And David decides to act like he didnโt enact this power himself. But no one is buying it.
Dani is told she has to name a new nominee immediately. So she picks Tyler. Heโs not shocked, but everyone else is. Dani tells Tyler she doesnโt want him out. But she tells us she does. How long will that last, though, since Cody doesnโt want Tyler to leave?
And then itโs time to pick players for the veto competition. Joining Dani, Kevin and Tyler in the competition will be DaโVonne, Enzo and Ian.
Dani lets DaโVonne know that if she wins the veto she doesnโt want her to use it because she will have to make a fourth nomination this week. Da’Vonne says she won’t use it (because Da’Vonne doesn’t expect to win). So letโs get to it and see what happens.
Nicole comes out of the DR with a โteletransporter.โ So she has to โshrinkโ the veto players and theyโre sent off to play a miniature stacking game. To win the veto, they have to be the first person to stack some really tiny cans of beer. And they have to do it with tweezers.
Itโs a really cute and funny competition. And surprisingly tense for such a minimally-involved game. Kevin almost wins but itโs DaโVonne who finds the right groove and wins the veto. Which is her first Big Brother competition win ever. So, needless to say she is very happy. And itโs a tiny veto, which is super cute, but it counts all the same!
Dani is counting on DaโVonne to not use the veto. And Kevin is counting on her to use it. So what will she do?
DaโVonne knows that she needs Kevin for a number. She knows thereโs an alliance that she, Kevin and David arenโt in. But Dani really doesnโt want her to use it. Dani has no idea what sheโs going to do. Christmas tells Dani that if DaโVonne uses the veto then her only two options outside of the Committee are Ian and Enzo. And Dani is in an alliance with both of them also.
Dani asks Cody, who seems to be her boss this season, if he would vote out Tyler if she has to put Ian on the block. Cody says absolutely not and she needs to make sure DaโVonne doesnโt use the veto.
Dani breaks the news to Nicole that Ian is her only option. Nicole isnโt happy about that at all, because sheโs been using Ian as a shield as the only other winner in the game.
Following Commander Codyโs demands, Dani tells DaโVonne that she will be more helpful than Kevin, and her using the veto is going to ruin DaโVonneโs game. Dani says her saving Kevin will be a big move and surely make Da’Vonne a target.
But DaโVonne knows whatโs going on. She knows that no one else will have her back so he has to do whatโs best for her game at this moment. She does use the Power of Veto on Kevin. Which for her own game, is a big move. And Dani names Ian as the replacement nominee. She says she needs the ultimate pawn to make sure Tyler goes home. But we all know the Committee (Cody really) wonโt let that happen. Ian is toast.
