Big Brother 21 Episode 7 Recap: David Has Everything Figured Out

He might not even be in the Big Brother 21 game at the moment, but David appears to be playing the best game in the house. While everyone else is wandering aimlessly around the house trying to figure out who to shower and sleep with, David has been sitting up in Camp Comeback sizing everyone up. And he has done a very good job it would seem.

Before we get to David’s take on the game, we get some reaction and fallout from the nomination ceremony. The episode picks up right after the nomination ceremony and Jack lets us know that his plan to target Kemi is under way. He says he knows Jessica and Kemi would put him up and since they aren’t in his alliance they were easy to nominate. Jessica, meanwhile, just wants to know who is giving Jack misinformation about her.

Speaking of that … Bella lets Nicole know that she felt like she had to ell Jack about the Black Window alliance ahead of the ceremony, which likely helped seal Kemi and Jessica’s fate. And Nicole is as confused and as annoyed as we are over why Bella did that. Surprisingly, Bella is very self-aware and lets us know in the Diary Room that she just wants to be in an alliance with everyone but doesn’t know how to keep her mouth shut. You don’t say? Nicole lets Jessica know that it was Bella who outed them and Jess is shocked, especially since Bella was the one who started and named the alliance. Jessica lets us know that her blood is boiling and calls Bella a slippery snake. So now she’s ready to gun for the veto.

And now we get to hear from David. Who until less than a week ago had no idea what was going on inside the house. He tells us it’s very clear to him what’s going on in the house. He says he think Jack and Jackson are the big two leaders (check) and that Holly and Sis are with them (check) and then Chrisite and Nick round out the alliance (Check, check). At first I was like, well you missed some … but he wasn’t finished yet. He also knows that Tommy is a part of it as is Bella (check and check). He is 100 percent correct. He doesn’t quite know the ranking order, but he knows everything else. Here’s to hoping he gets to use all this information to his or someone else’s advantage.

It’s time to pick players for the veto competition. Joining Jack, Kemi and Jessica in the comp will be Bella, Jackson (via Jessica’s HG choice – seriously, she picked him and not Nicole) and Sam.

The doorbell rings and it’s Tyler. He shows up to host the veto competition. For this competition, the players have to collect frogs from a pool of water and stack them. But they can only stack as long as their “water clocks” are full. If the water runs out, they are done. Sam finishes his game with 18 frogs. Jackson finishes with 9. Bella has 0 frogs. Jack finishes with 12 frogs. Jessica ends up with 13. Kemi finishes her competition with 4 frogs. But she was really close because she was about to beat Sam, but several of her frogs fell at the last minute.

So Sam wins the Power of Veto and a trip for two to Fiji.

And with that, the campaigning begins. Jessica is up first and the she immediately pulls out the family card, which Sam wasn’t a fan of. Kemi is up next. Kemi tells him that if she’s up on eviction night, she goes home. Kemi tells him that she would never put him up and would be a number for him. She says if she would stay she’d still have a big target on her. Sam tells her IF he were to use the veto it would be on her over Jessica.

At the veto ceremony Sam lets the nominees know that he is not using the veto on either of them.
