Big Brother 21 Episode 25 Recap: Jackson Makes His Next Move

In Jackson’s game of chess, he made his next move by holding onto the power this week and securing his target leaves the Big Brother 21 house this week.

Wednesday night’s episode picks up right after Jackson nominated Christie and Analyse for eviction. Jackson lets us know that Christie is his target because she is the biggest threat in the game and she’s coming after him. Analyse lets know that she has a “great social game” so she wants Christie to win the veto because she has a better shot at staying next to anyone as long as it’s not Christie.

Tommy, in the meantime, has to try to plan ahead in case he loses Christie this week, so he heads up to talk to Jackson. He lets Jackson know that he did a good job and his nominees make a lot of sense. He reminds Jackson how loyal he’s been to him and promises he’s still with him. Jackson lets us know that he loves Tommy, but if Analyse wins veto, Tommy has to go up to make sure Christie goes home.

Christie, Jessica and Analyse meet up and decide that Nick might be playing everyone. Christie tells them that before Kat left she told her that he is working with Jackson and Holly.

Analyse is so set on Christie coming off the block that she even asks Nick to use the veto on Christie. But Nick says no he will use the veto on her, not Christie. And remembering what Christie and Jessica just said, Analyse asks Nick if he’s working with Jackson. He gets upset and says no. Christie then asks Nick to be honest with her about whether or not he’d use the veto on them. He promises he would use the veto, but it would be on Analyse, not Christie. And Christie is not happy with that answer.

It’s time to pick players for the veto competition. Joining Jackson, Christie and Analyse in the competition are Cliff, Nick and Holly.

After the veto draw, Tommy lets Nick know that Christie and Analyse have concerns with who Nick is working with. Nick gets upset and confronts Christie and Analyse. Nick tells them he’s going to gun for the veto just to prove to them that he is loyal to them.

It’s time for the veto competition. For this competition, the HGs have to collect sea creatures and balance them. The first person to hang all their creatures and properly balance them wins the veto. It’s a messy and complicated competition and it comes down to Jackson and Christie but Jackson ends up winning the Power of Veto.

Christie is very upset and feeling helpless. She knows that Jackson is getting what he wants and won’t be using the veto this week. But of course we have to get some editing that suggests Jackson could use the veto and target Nick. But we know what’s not happening. Christie made a big pitch, but Jackson has had his target set for weeks.

So at the veto meeting, Jackson does not use the Power of Veto. He let’s them know that he nominated them both for a reason and he has to follow through. So will Jackson continue his Big Brother chess game or will he switch over to checkers? Find out Thursday night.
