Big Brother 20 casting is officially underway this week as the casting director Robyn Kass made the announcement on Twitter. Ready to step foot inside the Big Brother house and take home a half million dollar prize? Then it’s time to get started!
The online application system for BB20 has been available since the end of last season and any applications already submitted will still be reviewed, but now is the time for that reviewing to begin. Kassting will be digging through your video submission and application details to find out which bars are the best to recruit their next batch of HGs. I kid, I kid! Mostly.
Robyn Kass gave the news on Friday that this week would mark the launch of casting season, inviting fans and Big Brother 20 Hopefuls to get in gear and start applying. And for those more interested in the in-person casting events, those are coming up shortly, she promised.

Thinking of applying for Big Brother 20? We’ve got a few tips to consider. You can go ahead and apply online now with your video submission or you can do the in-person casting call events. Remember that you do not have to do both online and in-person applications. Kass has previously confirmed repeatedly that you can, but it’s overkill.
If you want to just pick one then BB12’s Matt Hoffman made the case for doing a video and having complete control over your audition versus risking the unknowns of a live event with other Big Brother hopefuls.
Apply now online at the official casting site or start working on what you want to say at your open call audition. There’s no better way to prepare than with some guidance from past Houseguests like BB16 winner Derrick Levasseur, BB12 mastermind Matt Hoffman, and even the casting director herself.
