It was quite the dramatic week in the Big Brother 20 house following Steve’s blindside eviction and Kaitlyn’s HOH win. A lot went down, meaning there were a lot of highs and lows for the week.
Starting this week, I’ll be going with the tried and true “Thumbs Up/Thumbs Down” format. That’s a lot easier and immediately is understandable. So let’s get to it!
The Best And Worst of Big Brother 20 Week 2
Thumbs Up: Swaggy C. He might be a cocky one, but the guy had heart. He fought all week long to stay in the game, but it was never going to happen for him as long as Tyler is pulling the strings in the house. And he is dedicated to his brand. I can respect that. At the start of the game I didn’t want to call anyone by any nicknames (I even prefer calling Boogie Mike!), and now I don’t even know who Chris is when I see it written about Swaggy.
Thumbs Down: Kaitlyn. What a train wreck she was. From a Live Feeds standpoint, she would almost get a “thumbs up” because she was so crazy to watch. But the fact that she let Tyler control her ever thought a move (and then called it her intuition), she gets a big thumbs down. Not only did she ruin her life at home by telling the guys in the house she wants to kiss or “f—” them, she turned on her alliance for NO reason, kicked people out of her HOH room, cried non-stop and ended up letting Swaggy walk out the door, which she never truly wanted. I hope they have some support ready for her when she leaves the game because she’s going to need it.
Thumbs Up: Tyler. Get annoyed if you want, but Tyler is playing this damn game. He has controlled the HOH and eviction for two weeks in a row, and he’s not done yet. With Scottie winning the HOH Thursday night, there’s a possibility he could control HOH once again. Good for Tyler.
Thumbs Down: Tyler. I know I just praised Tyler, but if he doesn’t chill out for a bit, he’s going to make this season boring. It’s never fun when one person runs the house the whole season. We’ve seen too much of that lately and it’s just not fun. So why don’t you relax a bit, Tyler. Let Scottie do what he’s going to do and you can get back up when you’re in danger.
Thumbs Up: Rockstar. A lot of people who aren’t watching the Live Feeds aren’t getting the true Rockstar experience. She is a no-nonsense, loyal and open-minded person. She hasn’t been involved in any of the storylines so she’s not getting much airtime, so if you don’t want the Live Feeds and are reading this, know that Rockstar could really make this season great if she sticks around.
Thumbs Down: Tyler Gets The Power App. As I said, Tyler is playing a great game and I respect that. But him winning such a cushy prize is a little excessive. I don’t think he’ll even need to use the power really, so it would have been more fun for someone else to get it.
Thumbs Up: Rachel Gets The Crap App: I wish Angela would have gotten the Crap App because the only person more pointless in the game than Rachel is Angela. So hopefully that was a wake-up call for her to actually start playing the game and not just taking up space.
Thumbs Down: Scottie’s Vote. I was pretty shocked when Scottie walked into the Diary Room with a Swaggy C shirt on and voted to evicted Swaggy C. I like ruthless Big Brother players, but that just came off as dirty to me. Especially when you consider that Haleigh is going to get blamed for the vote against Swaggy because she didn’t want to wear the Swaggy T-Shirt (which by the way, the whole Swaggy shirt idea WAS SCOTTIE’S). What a snake.
