Paulie Calafiore has a tight grip on the Big Brother 18 season and the rest of the cast seems happy to oblige him on his coronation march to the season finale for a big win. This week he’s got the plan all set and ready in his mind so now it’s time to let his team of minions know what they need to do to make it happen.
With the Veto comp out of the way on Saturday Paulie went to work letting the guys know how the Veto Ceremony would go, what needs to be done with the Care Package power, and how these votes need to be for the Thursday eviction.
To set the stage, Paulie has the PoV medallion again this week and despite his ally Zakiyah being on the Block he isn’t going to use it. He’s let Zakiyah know and she isn’t thrilled, but just as expected he is working on convincing her that it’s the best move for their game.
About an hour after the Veto comp was over Paulie pulled James and Corey in to the HN room to let them know what’s going on. Flashback to 8:19 PM BBT 8/6 to watch. He tells them the Veto won’t be used and he’ll need their help to calm Zakiyah. Paulie had just told Nicole she needs to get on Zakiyah to make sure she was in her ear to prevent any blow ups over his decision.
Paul walks in on Paulie, James, and Corey. Paulie had just told James and Corey that he knows Paul and Victor are trying to go against them on getting out Michelle this week. When Paul arrives the talk wraps up and Paulie says all five of them (including Victor) need to get together later to plan things out.
Jump ahead to 3:18 AM BBT to find Paulie and James alone in the backyard. Paulie is telling James he needs to nullify Paulie and Paul’s to help cut out Paul and Victor trying to work together to keep Michelle (Victor doesn’t have a vote, but is supporting Paul’s push to keep Michelle).
Paulie suggests Victor and Paul could be working to pull over Michelle to join with Bridgette and the two guys so they need to make sure Michelle goes. Talk a few minutes before included whispers of a possible all guys alliance. Paulie says they can squash that fear by getting Victor out next before Bridgette.
James asks Paulie who he thinks Victor would put up if he’s HoH again. Paulie says Victor would put up Natalie. Corey arrives and suddenly Paulie expands that to be Victor would put up Natalie and Nicole. Very convenient.
While Paulie just told James in private that Victor should go before Bridgette that tune changes when Corey is around. Paulie actually swaps the order. Maybe it was a slip or maybe Paulie is worried about Corey taking things back to Nicole as he’s suggested Corey is doing and why those two need to be split up.
Talk goes back to James’s Care Package power that lets him knock out two votes. Paulie says Paul is pushing for James to nullify Nicole and James’s votes, but James says he asked in DR and he is not allowed to eliminate his own vote. Of course James would want to try and do that.
Their talk continues with plans for next evictions and a possible Double Eviction…
With Corey now present Paulie repeats his plans that Michelle needs to go instead of Zakiyah to prevent Paul and Victor from doing whatever it is they may be trying to do. Paulie also tells the guys that Paul is trying to get him (Paulie) to sway the rest of the guys to target Zakiyah instead.
Of course after all this pushing to get Michelle out Paulie still keeps adding on that he doesn’t care which one goes… but here are a bunch of reasons why it needs to be Michelle.
Looking ahead in their plans Paulie tells James and Corey that the eviction order needs to be Bridgette, Victor, and then Natalie. Remember just a few mins ago with only James there the plan was for Victor then Bridgette. Not sure what to make of that swap.
James is also doing some planning ahead and wants to discuss Double Eviction plans in case that arrives this week. We know it will, but HGs won’t know until Thursday. Paulie doesn’t think Paul will try and win HoH during a DE but one of them three needs to so they can control the moves.
Paulie tells his minions they need to put up Bridgette and Victor with Bridgette as the plan but if she comes down off the Block then Victor needs to go up and out. Okay, that doesn’t make sense since he mentions Victor as an initial nom and as a renom. His stories aren’t aligning as Paulie says “I’ll mask Victor” perhaps suggesting he’ll try to surprise the eviction on Victor.
As for the rest of the team, Paulie says he has “trained” Zakiyah for this, possibly the DE plans or maybe just in general? I’m not sure, but Michelle is “not trained” so she needs to go this week. Paulie wants Corey to get on that training with Nicole to make sure she’s ready too.
So there we go. Paulie has the week planned out with noms staying the same, James using his Care Package votes on Paulie and Paul’s votes, and then Michelle going in possibly a 5-0 vote. Then when the DE arrives on Thursday, watch out Bridgette and Victor.
