Big Brother 18 Masterminds: Revolution Discusses Fantasy Strategy

Big Brother 18 is off to a fun start with a few particularly delusional Houseguests, but they’ve only got a couple more days to float on the clouds of Imagination Land. Last night they met for a strategy session that delivered on some good times on the Feeds.

Jozea Flores, the current target, sat with Paul Abrahamian and Bridgette Dunning to run through how they’d Neo their way through the oncoming firestorm before going on to dominate the house and game for weeks to come. Well this should be good.

Flashback to 11:55PM BBT 6/27 Cams 3/4 to find the threesome grouped around the hot tub.

Running through the lay of the house, which I promise is much different from what they’re about to suggest, Jozea is sure Da’Vonne is with them along with Zakiyah. He assures his allies that Zakiyah might spend a lot of time up there in the HoH room but she brings everything back to him. Day is Jozea’s team leader so he assumes they’re solid. No and no.

Bridgette, the voice of reason in this trio, doesn’t full trust her team and says the other three (Paulie, Frank, and Michelle) break up talks or change the topic when she arrives. We know that Frank wants to trust Bridgette and bring her in to the fold which might happen after Revolution is disbanded on Thursday night.

Bridgette also wisely questions why Paulie is being involved in game talks if everyone over there is planning to vote him out this week. Good point, Bridgette. Naturally Jozea dismisses this idea and says they’re involving themselves, whatever that means.

Jozea’s strategy for the Revolution is, wait for it, to win Head of Household back and forth in trade off fashion. Now to be fair, the Vets are somewhat relying on a similar expectation, but are likely much better prepared to adapt when it doesn’t happen.

Now for the kicker in this talk. Jump to 12:04AM BBT as Paul explains that he only watched BB16 (likely in sequester) despite having told Jeff in his interview that he’s been a Big Brother watcher since childhood. That was obviously a lie, but interesting now to hear he wasn’t only not a fan, but had never seen the show before.

Paul considered not watching a single season so his mind wasn’t tainted by other strategies or plans. He wanted his “natural instincts” to guide him through the season. Paul insists there’s no way you can prepare or study strategy to be ready for this game. This comes from the guy who barely knows the game much less only the season with Battle of the Block as its keystone. But wait, there’s more.

Jozea similarly only watched BB16 (guess they were short on seasons in sequester), but he’s well prepared too. He explains how he schooled Tiffany on Big Brother strategy when she suggested he’d do well not to name names or numbers when stating his expected vote support for the week. Jozea had told Tiffany about his “Secure Seven” which will be keeping him in the game.

As for Tiffany, Paul has big plans for her as he really, really doesn’t like her. His main issue with Tiffany is how she wears sunglasses inside and at night to hide her spying. Okay, I’ll give it to him that it’s annoying (and I wish production didn’t allow sunglasses inside since it hides too much emotion), but he wants to use it as his justification to nominate her. Paul says if they give him HoH he’ll turn the key, reveal Tiffany, says it’s because she wears sunglasses at night, and then turn the next key.

Jozea wants to see James and Nicole targeted because they’re the “masterminds” on the opposing side. Not that he’ll get the chance (unless there is a returning evictee and it’s him), but that’s where he’d set his sights.

Their talk goes on and on and is well worth the listen. Don’t have the Feeds yet? Grab the Free Trial and check out everything that’s happened with the rewind feature to go back to any time of any day and watch it again.

Let’s conclude with Jozea gleefully declaring “you know how comfortable it’s going to be running the house for weeks? You won’t have to worry about s**t.” He counts off the weeks of safety ahead for him and is confident they’ve got at least five straight weeks of security. Not only that, but he’s pretty sure some of the evictions will be two weeks part. Sigh.

Jozea’s eviction on Thursday will be very entertaining, but the guy is comedy gold and I’ll miss his delusions. Of course we’ll still have Paul’s fantasy tales, though I think he’ll do better at realizing his house is burning down around him and pivoting to a new approach. That’ll probably be based in Crazytown too so that should be fun.

What do you think of The Revolution’s strategy? It’s a one-two punch of winning & safety. Hard to argue with that right? Good times ahead on Big Brother 18!
