Andy Herren – Big Brother 15 interview:
Walking a few blocks to a nearby audition turned out to be a great move for Andy Herren, a public speaking professor from the suburbs of Chicago.
Andy is a long-standing fan of Big Brother who had been told before he was a great fit for the show and finally decided to give it a go and now here he is.
He is expecting his fellow Houseguests to underestimate him and write him off as this “wacky, gay guy. I really don’t think they’re going to anticipate that I’m such a thinker and such a strategist and I think that’s going to be to my benefit in the game.”
First step once he gets in the house Andy wants to set up relationships but do it without playing “too hard, too fast.” An alliance is the direction he wants to head. “If at all possible, I would love to establish a covert alliance right away with people I feel strongly about because I feel like that has proven in the past to be a very efficient strategy.”
Don’t look for Andy to throw that first HoH competition. He’s not worried about winning it with “no clear cut answer” as to whether or not that first win draws too much attention.
By the end of the season Andy hopes the jury will see him as “this was a guy I really liked being around and he played his ass off.” Now we’ll have to see if he can make that happen.
