Last night Big Brother host Julie Chen revealed to us the latest BB16 twist with the “Big Brother Rewind.” A large gold button twist that if pushed would wipe out the entire week of events & force the HGs to start over. But would they push it? What do you think!
I went back through all the Rewind twist details from the show last night and saw that we’d soon be seeing the button come in to play, but I didn’t think it’d all wrap up this quickly. Flashback to 8:27PM BBT 9/4 as the HGs rush out of the Hive and head for the previously sealed Have-Not room.
Inside the newly redesigned twist room with more mirrors and red walls covered in the word “Game” there stood a podium with the sealed golden button. A screen greeted them with a message: “The Choice Is Yours.” That’s all the HGs had to go on and they immediately started speculating. Cody contributed with “it’s a twist!” Someone get that kid a gold star.
What the Houseguests don’t know is that this button will reset the entire Week 11 in the game. We’ll be right back to the start of the night’s HoH competition if the button is pushed. The HoH will have been dethroned, his nominations would be undone, and any Veto results nullified. Everything would be wiped away like it never happened.
The dust has settled from Thursday’s Double Eviction on Big Brother 16 and after a new HoH was crowned late last night we can now look ahead to the next round of nominations. Well, until that new twist undoes the whole thing.
When the Feeds returned from the Head of Household competition, which once again ran well in to After Dark, the HGs were racing to the new twist room. Their conversations focused first on how to handle this giant golden button while nominations still lingered in the not far distant.
It was billed as “The Most Twisted Summer Ever” before Big Brother 16 started – and while there was a new wrinkle in the form of the BoB twist – I wouldnt call it all that twisted.
They did a 2nd Double Eviction last night, but we had that last year as well. Now they introduced the Big Brother Rewind button – which seems very similar to the Big Brother reset button from BB14 where the coaches entered the game. This newest twist will be interesting to see how it plays out & should add some excitement. But first…
Nicole walked the plank as expected, with a 4-0 vote & Christine quickly followed with a 3-0 vote. As fans – all of these unanimous votes are not exciting to watch, as players – they are all so worried to ruffle feathers they have been playing it safe all season. Remember WAY BACK to week 3 when Nicole & Christine talked about casting hinky votes against Caleb? That would have thrown the house into a tizzy trying to smoke out who did it. That, just like so many other game shaking moves, never happened and we are left at the final 4 & Victoria.
The Big Brother 16 HGs had a busy night after their busy DE night as they played another Head of Household and decided to go ahead and push the Big Brother Rewind button (even though they don’t know what the button does). Find out what else happened on the Big Brother Feeds in the house yesterday.
Big Brother 16 Live Feed Highlights – Thursday, September 4, 2014:
Following the double eviction on Big Brother the Houseguests competed in another HoH competition. Now we know who won HoH last night and have a glimpse at what to expect in the coming week for nominations & targets. Unless that Rewind button twist throws the whole week away…
No one should have been surprised by the first eviction of the night, but the second one probably caught at least a few HGs off guard. The remaining players moved on to the backyard after the show and now we have a new HoH. Results below plus an important update on the Rewind twist.
Big Brother 16 – Week 11 Head of Household:
Thanks to last night’s wild Double Eviction live show not one, but two Houseguests were eliminated from Big Brother 16. Most of us could see the writing on the wall for the first evicted HG, but with a DE anything is possible.
After watching Nicole Franzel sent out the door in another unanimous vote with all four HGs against her she returned to the familiar chair next to Julie Chen. She wouldn’t be alone for long though as another Big Brother 16 HG was not far behind.
Following Nicole’s eviction a second HoH competition was held and Derrick won the power in a ridiculous comp that ended in one round when everyone but him got it wrong. Derrick had to select two new nominees. That lead to Christine and Victoria going up on the block.
