Big Brother 16 is back tonight on CBS at 8PM ET/PT with the Head of Household competition held late Thursday night and a lot more things you’ll want to see.
Along with the HoH competition and nominations, there will be several special events in tonight’s show including the Big Brother Rewind twist segment where we get to see how the HGs decide to handle the mysterious button.
Jeff & Jordan also arrive with some fun news for their fans… they’re engaged! The Big Brother couple finally took the plunge this weekend when they stopped by for a surprise visit for the HGs and then Jordan got a surprise of her own when Jeff popped the question. That whole segment will be shown tonight, but for now we’ve got pictures for you of the newly engaged couple and Jordan’s diamond ring.
Can’t wait to find out who who wins HoH & who goes on the block? I have those Big Brother spoilers right now if you want to get ahead of tonight’s show.
Saturdays in the Big Brother house are usually tense with anxious HGs awaiting the game impacting Power of Veto. This week wasn’t so tense as HGs slept the day away as the guys felt assured they could stomp out their female competitor.
Later the next Team America mission went in to effect as Derrick and Frankie worked to keep HGs awake until 6AM looking for a mouse. Considering they slept all day and said they’d stay up until sunrise anyway this was a bit silly.
Find out what else happened on the Big Brother Feeds in the house yesterday.
Big Brother 16 Live Feed Highlights – Saturday, September 6, 2014:
The Big Brother 16 Power of Veto competition is over and we have the results! Only five HGs remain so everyone was playing for the power of “not that it matters.” The HGs might not know it, but everything they’re doing this week will be nullified in just a few more days.
Big Brother 16 Spoilers: Week 11 Veto Competition Results:
Yesterday we learned that Jeff & Jordan are engaged after a surprise visit to the Big Brother 16 house where Jeff Schroeder popped the question to his long time girlfriend, Jordan Lloyd. But other than a few glances we didn’t have an up-close few of the ring. Now we do.
CBS released a video of Jeff going to the jeweler to pick up Jordan’s ring just a few days before he gave it to her. Jeff says he’s very nervous when he goes to pick up the ring and jokes that there’s no turning back now, but not that he’d want to.
Check out the zoomed in shots of Jeff getting the big diamond ring for Jordan. It’s huge! I’m thinking the jeweler helped out here in exchange for some promotional time through CBS. Nothing wrong with that as I’m sure Jordan would agree!
What do you all think? Did Jeff make a good pick for his newly minted fiancee?
The Power of Veto competition will be held on Saturday afternoon in the Big Brother house and with just five Houseguests left in the race there aren’t many options for what could happen next. All the same, HGs are plotting and scheming even if none of it matters at all.
Only two Houseguests remain “safe” and off the block this week with two more nominated and one sitting as HoH. Should either of the “safe” Houseguests win the Veto today and decides to use it then the other one would be forced into becoming this week’s renom.
Last night Derrick spoke with Cody about that very possibility and how they should handle it if the opportunity arises.
Last night on Big Brother Live Feeds the remaining members of Team America, Derrick & Frankie, received a new mission from viewers. After a week off from their tasks the challenge is back, but can they pull it off this time?
Derrick receives word that they’re back on the clock with the chance to earn another $5,000 each even though Donny was evicted. He runs up to the HoH room to tell Frankie their good news. Flashback to 10:28PM BBT 9/5 to watch. As for the mission? America voted to keep the HGs up all night in search of a rodent in the house.
Frankie and Derrick decide they’ll spot a mouse on separate occasions in the same night and keep everyone awake in search of the fictional Houseguest. To be considered a success everyone has to stay up until 6AM BBT the night of their adventure.
They suggest creating their own little mouse traps and if anyone goes in to the DR to ask for a real trap then production has agreed to tell HGs they’re setting up traps around the outside of the house. Derrick says they have to scare some of the HGs with false sightings and run-by’s.
Both Derrick and Frankie agree that this is a very doable mission for Team America. Considering everyone tends to stay up anyway and they’ll only have to convince three people to do it then this should be a gimme. Derrick explains that if anyone goes to bed then they run the risk of them falling asleep and Team America failing the mission.
Watch for TA to put their new mission in to action later tonight (Saturday) but probably not until around midnight since they can start the challenge at anytime but no one can fall asleep before 6AM.
Now we’ll just have to wait for Frankie to blame the mouse’s existence on Zach for leaving Froot Loops around the house.
