After weeks and weeks of of the same alliances working together, Vanessa decided to redrawn the lines and flip the Big Brother 17 house upside down. Translation: nothing is really going to change because Vanessa still doesn’t realize she’s letting a showmance and a set of twins stick around a little too long.
The episode starts off at the beginning of the Head of Household competition, and since this group of players aren’t great at physical competitions, we get to see about all of this play out because it lasted all of 15 minutes.
Over the past few days we’ve watched Vanessa shift to a new tactic from harsh confrontations and tears to offering cash to her allies to help move her along in the game. No more, said Big Brother.
It’s not uncommon to hear Houseguests trying to make deals and there have been situations in the past where HGs have arranged gifts for one another, but this season Vanessa seems to be taking that approach to a new level. Perhaps coming in to the game as a noted millionaire has put Vanessa in a different mindset when it comes to cash and it’s become more about chasing the title for her.
Following a Power of Veto competition on Saturday that upset Vanessa Rousso’s plans she’s turned to looking for a new plan, but so far it looks like she’ll go for a much smaller target than she could.
After scrambling overnight to find a substitute plan and appropriate target Vanessa appears to have settled on taking out the closest ally to her original target, but when she does that she’ll miss the move that she should be taking this week.
Finally a power shift on Big Brother 17. After two and a half weeks of the Van Austwins taking over the Big Brother house they’ll now have to deal with a change in their plans which means we get to enjoy the fun of a scramble.
Two weeks ago we saw Liz win HoH and the Veto and last week Austin took HoH while Vanessa snagged PoV. This round we saw HoH yet again fall in to their hands before it was at last time for a change.
Tonight on Big Brother 17 we’ll watch the remaining Houseguests face off against the returning four Jurors in a chance to get back in the game and take on all the power this week.
In what might be the most pitiful endurance competition, even if it wasn’t the shortest, the whole “epic” battle lasted roughly three minutes past the end of the show as the competitors were tossed down from their swings like pills in a mid-day DR visit. There’s still hope for this week though.
It was Veto Day on Saturday in the Big Brother 17 house as the HGs spent nearly five hours in what looked to be a wild game of Hide & Seek leaving their habitat in a torn about fashion.
The results of the PoV comp will leave plenty of fans happy plus it gives everyone the chance to watch the HGs scatter and scramble looking for a new way out of the mess they’re in.
