With the shift this season to include the Live Feeds free with fans’ subscription to the CBS All Access service we already knew the monthly price was going to be significantly cheaper this time around at just $5.99 per month, but we were still waiting on details of any Early Bird discounts or deals.
Starting today, May 28, 2015 fans can watch exclusive Big Brother preseason video content when they sign up for “All Access,” the new home for Live Feeds. In fact, it’s the only way to get access to the Feeds this year. CBS has bundled our beloved Feeds with their other existing video service.
A Big Brother Early Bird sale is not available this year since CBS already dropped the price down to $5.99/month, but there is a 1-week Free Trial that you can get now to start watching the preseason content they’re releasing. There will also be more preseason content before the Feeds go live during premiere week giving us our first look inside the BB17 house as the game plays out.
Try 1 Week Free! Only $5.99 per month thereafter. Sign-up now.
Please remember that signing up through our links or banners helps support us and gives us financial compensation from CBS but costs you nothing at all. I really appreciate your help with that.
On June 10th Derrick Levasseur, winner of Big Brother last season, will be doing an exclusive chat with subscribers. On June 15th there will be a subscriber-only chat with Frankie Grande. Then later that week CBS is promising a live stream of the new Houseguests for an early reveal.
Big Brother 17 Live Feeds officially launch the in-house cameras on June 25, 2015 after the west coast premiere concludes as part of the two-night event. So BB17 starts on 6/24 but the Feeds won’t turn on until after the second episode finishes out west.

Bad news for our friends to the north. Live Feeds will not be available in Canada due to CBS’s decision to include them in with All Access which is only available in the US. Sigh. I asked if there was any hope of changing that like they did the other year, but was told no.
I’ll keep asking for more details and will share them with you as soon as I can. Be sure to join us on Facebook, Twitter, & by Email so you don’t miss any of the updates and other Big Brother 17 preseason news!
Last season, Big Brother’s much-watched couple Jeff & Jordan announced their engagement in the backyard of the house where their relationship began. Now as they prepare for their wedding, announced for October 2016, Jeff & Jordan are taking on a new challenge: Marriage Boot Camp.
The new season of Marriage Boot Camp “Reality Stars” edition kicks off this Friday on May 29, 2015 on WE tv at 9/8c and one of the couples this season will be Jeff & Jordan from Big Brother 11 & 13. Thanks to WE tv, I had the chance to interview the couple to get an idea of their experience on the show, the continued impact of Big Brother, and if we might seem them back in the BB house again.
First off I wanted to know what attracted Jeff Schroeder & Jordan Lloyd to the series before they were even married. As the other couples noticed, Jeff & Jordan were the only couple who wasn’t already married this season.
“We know marriage isn’t easy and we wanted to sharpen the tools that we have and learn new ones so we could be the strongest couple we can be before we tie the knot. Plus, it also gave us an opportunity to branch out and try something new,” explained Jeff. “Also we looked at the word “Boot Camp” as something to strengthen our relationship, like Barry’s Boot Camp, not that we needed saving or counseling.”
When Big Brother 17 starts in just one more month we are going to be ready for the action after waiting all year for the new cast and house design to be revealed. Will you be ready to join us?
The Big Brother premiere hits in just four weeks on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 for a two-night mega premiere like we’ve seen in the past and that sounds great to me. With so much going on that first week before the Live Feeds turn on we’ll need to ramp it up fast and let’s hope CBS delivers.
As for the BB17 cast of Houseguests, those are still being selected as announced by Big Brother Casting Director Robyn Kass. She confirmed that all applicants have now been notified and are in the running for future downselects moving to the final roster.
When CBS and Big Brother production make their final cast choices the HGs will be flown in to Los Angeles roughly the week ahead of entering the house. That’s when I’ll be sitting down to talk with each of them for our preseason interviews a few days before I’m allowed to reveal their details.
No details yet on the new house design or season 17 theme or twists, so if you read anything out there that sounds completely absurd then it probably is. We’ll get the official, reliable information.
Feeds will go live either the first or second premiere night of Big Brother 17 so you’ll want to be ready for that. New this season is the CBS All Access subscription service which offers the Big Brother Live Feeds, every episode of Big Brother ever, plus live TV streams to watch BB17 from your computer or mobile device. Check availability here for live CBS streams in select areas.
We’re waiting on Live Feed Early Bird sale details to find out if CBS will offer that up again this season or not. As soon as I get confirmation from CBS we’ll have that updated for you.
The Big Brother 17 cast is narrowing down with the news today that Kassting Inc has contacted all semi-finalists and we are soon on our way to meet the new Houseguests for our preseason interviews.
If you had applied by open-call auditions or online application and were still waiting and hoping then sadly Big Brother 17 is not your season. But fret not! We hope you’ll keep applying because every season is different and they’re always looking for that right fit.
Robyn Kass shared the news earlier this afternoon confirming the BB17 roster was set:
If you were watching the Survivor finale last night then you could help but see the brand new BB17 commercial which aired several times throughout the show. Yes, the Big Brother hype machine is in full force and I couldn’t be happier about it. In just over a month the season will begin and I can’t wait.
The first commercial is full of clips from last season, as we’re used to seeing, but interestingly CBS decided to go heavy on the side of one particular HG. I’ll let you guess who, but here’s a hint: it’s not the winner nor “America’s Fav.” Matter of fact, Derrick only appears in a shared scene for a split second. Go figure. Watch the full commercial below & get ready for CBS to release more.
As for other exciting news, I can confirm that we will have our own Big Brother 17 cast interviews again for you this year! My tickets are booked and I’m ready to travel to CBS Studio City to make it happen so when it comes time to sign up for your Live Feeds Free Trial please think of us. Using our links & banners to sign up for Feeds gives us direct, financial support with no cost to you. Thank you!
Congratulations to Big Brother couple Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd. They’ve officially set a date for the wedding, but settle in because we’ve got a little wait before we check out their wedding photos.
Jeff & Jordan met on the set of Big Brother 11 back in 2009 and kicked off a long running relationship that finally shifted to an engagement last year at the Big Brother house. Where else, right? Well they won’t be getting married there, at least not according to the date they’ve planned.
Earlier this week Jeff announced via Periscope that he and Jordan would be married on October 1st… 2016! Yes, they’ve got over a year before the big event, but these take time to plan and prep so that’s not completely crazy. Meanwhile, Jordan thanked fans for their support and said she “can’t wait!”
