Paulie continued to rule the Big Brother 18 house and refused to budge over his target this week, thus showing his cards to one of his closest allies, Paul. Does that mean there’s trouble in PP paradise? Will that change how Paul feels about his bro Paulie? Time will tell.
The episode picks up right after the ridiculous nomination ceremony that made everyone overreact. Sure Victor made a speech, but it was more dumb than mean, but Michelle completely broke down.
Exciting Big Brother news coming from CBS this morning as the series has been renewed through 2018 with seasons 19 and 20 confirmed for the next two summers. Wait, what about BB19 this Fall on All Access? Oh it’s still there, but CBS appears to be separating the two.
This is the second consecutive double season renewal for Big Brother with CBS after the 2014 news that took us through this season. Ratings have continued to hold strong this summer for the series as it frequently wins the top demographics with its three nights a week broadcasts.
Well that escalated quickly. Overnight Tuesday we witnessed major changes in the dynamics of the Big Brother 18 house as HGs began to realize through mutual confessions that Paulie Calafiore was running the house and pitting them against one another. While he slept in the next room his former allies turned against him.
Backing things up a bit we had seen James wavering over whether or not it’d be in his best interest to use his new Care Package power against Paulie to send Zakiyah out the door. After things shifted back, as expected, to sticking with Paulie, things were finally pushed over the ledge for James and he wasn’t alone.
Oh dear lord – the Big Brother 18 season is halfway done – and I am sure I speak for many of you that unless these people step up their games soon, they should just hand Paulie the $500K check so we can move on with our lives and start prepping for BB19. Although we are starting to see some dissension in the ranks – no one is willing to do anything about it.
Note: I wrote these rankings based on what was happening inside the house as of 8/10/16 – Midnight BB time – hopefully the recent current actions after that by Houseguests can change my outlook.
To be honest – I was considering giving everyone Tofu this week – because there have not been many stand outs playing well. Well, there are a couple, but they also have done bonehead things to knock them down a little. So my usual format to why people get what will change a little.
I am so looking forward to this week’s Big Brother Double Eviction episode – BUT FIRST – lets give out some bacon & tofu.
The Big Brother 18 house continued to go back and forth between who is going home this week, but an unlikely pair emerged Tuesday that has decided to work overtime to get the house on the same page and expose Paulie for running the game.
Update: After initially publishing there have been a lot of changes and events that could be shifting this week’s outcome. More details have been added.
Big Brother 18 Live Feed Highlights – Tuesday, August 9, 2016:
Big Brother 18 is back tonight with a new episode on CBS at 8/7c with the Power of Veto competition and ceremony leading us up to this week’s final nominations for Week 7’s Double Eviction as the struggle continues to control this week’s outcome.
Once Veto is out of the way the real drama will pick up as the HGs are fighting for their side of the nominations to survive the week but the rest of them have bigger things to worry about with Double Eviction Week secretly underway.
