This week on Big Brother, HG Brittany Martinez saw her time in the BB16 house come to an end with a unanimous vote to evict over Donny Thompson. Once outside the house Brittany seemed to breath a sigh of relief and while disappointed to be out of the game she was thrilled to see her children right there on the stage.

Today I had the chance to pose some questions to Brittany and get her take on the season, her game, and what she’s got planned for next in her life.

Matthew Boyer – Big Brother Network (BBN): Were you surprised by the vote count or did you start to see this coming before the eviction?

Brittany Martinez: Yes and no. I was surprised by the vote count, but I did kind of expect it because the house votes the same prettymuch.

BBN: Why did you decide to pick Caleb over Amber for the Veto comp with your HG’s choice chip?

Brittany: I decided to pick Caleb because after talking to him I actually enjoyed our conversation. I trusted him a bit more and Amber, to me, was always very questionable. I always felt in the back of my mind I couldn’t trust her.

BBN: You spoke a lot about who deserved to stay in the game? Why did you feel you deserved to be there more than other HGs?

Brittany: I just felt that I was given a bad deck of cards from the beginning. I was on the block three times, I was on slop for two weeks, and then the penalty challenge. I just felt that I was continuously fighting to stay in the house.

BBN: What do you think was your best move & what might have been your worst?

Brittany: My best move was telling Devin what he wanted to hear so he could save me with the veto. The worst move was confiding into my best friend in the house and giving me all my information because clearly he was trying to push me out the whole time.

BBN: Being new to the world of Big Brother, what do you wish you had known more about to help you in the game?

Brittany: I wish I would have paid more attention to people forming alliances so early on. I didn’t realize the game literally started the second you walked through the door.

BBN: What’s going to be your favorite memory of your time on Big Brother?

Brittany: Aside from my kids coming onto the stage, definitely the goal oriented challenge. It was just something that was so personal, it was an amazing accomplishment to finish it.

BBN: Name your early prediction for who is most likely to win.

Brittany: I would say Derrick has a great chance, and Cody has a great chance.

BBN: What’s next for Brittany Martinez?

Brittany: I am gonna just enjoy my family and appreciate the experience that I got to have with Big Brother.

BBN: Thank you, Brittany!

  1. her own words indicate her demise : “I didn’t realize the game literally started the second you walked through the door”… she was, yet another, poor pick from casting…. not a real BB fan, didn’t know the game very well, poor social player… etc etc….

  2. If she didn’t know the game started the second you walked thru the door the she did NOT deserve to even play the game.

  3. Why was she even on the show if she was going through a divorce? She left three kids behind when they probably needed her the most.
Well that’s her mistake. At least she got out early for the kids’ sake.

  4. who was her “best friend” who “pushed her out of house”? derrick? or cody?
