Big Brother 20 Episode 36 Recap: Angela And Tyler Are In Love

I hate myself for making that the headline of this Big Brother 20 recap, but that’s the most I got from Sunday night’s episode.

We first rejoin the Big Brother 20 Final 5 following Brett’s blindside eviction during last week’s double eviction episode. JC is upset that for the first time this season he wasn’t in on the eviction. He feels slighted and nervous about what lies ahead. Especially since Tyler is aware that he’s not a fan of Angela.

Then we get a flashback to some behind the scenes of Brett’s nomination and subsequent eviction. That wasn’t too exciting because Brett still thought me might be able to tug at some heartstrings and stay, so he wasn’t going to start any drama.

And speaking of drama, we’ve got our own Bold & The Beautiful going on in the BB house as Angela admitted to Tyler that she’s in love with him. He never exactly says the words back there, but he tells us in the DR “I guess I’m in love with Angela.” That’s not the most romantic line I’ve ever heard, but I guess it’ll work for someone he just met.

Now it’s time for the Head of Household completion. This is a new competition called BBFlix and Chill. The houseguests will be shown three fake movie posters starring past Big Brother houseguests. They’ll also be listening to voiceovers of people discussing things about a particular movie that is among the three posters. The first person to figure out which movie the people are discussing and ring in currently gets a point. Angela takes an early lead in the completion, and it’s Sam who is just beind her. JC and Kaycee don’t do so well. Sam is never able to take over the lead and Angela wins, making her Head of Household for the third time this season.

It doesn’t take long for Level 6 to decide who they’re going to be targeting. They agree that Sam is the bigger threat as far as getting jury votes goes. Angela reminds us that Sam’s main strategy has been getting close to the person who is about to be evicted so they’re sent off to jury remembering her kindness. Angela says she can’t have that and she needs sent out while they can just in case Sam manages to pull out another competition win next time. JC is simply a pawn, but since he’s their target next, Sam winning veto wouldn’t be a huge ordeal. They’d just move their target order around a bit.

And since Level 6 has controlled the game for weeks and aren’t turning on each other beyond Brett’s eviction, we have to sit through some major filler. This time it’s a Bebe Rehxa concert. The final 4 are treated to the the concert and we are treated to one boring episode.

After the concert, it was back to Big Brother 20 reality and time for the nomination ceremony. It came as a shock to no one that Angela kept her allies Kaycee and Tyler safe and nominated Sam and JC for eviction. Angela reminds us how over Sam she is (calling her a bitch one minute, hugging her the next), so she wants her headed off to jury this week.
