Missed anything since Thursday’s live eviction show? We have all of your Big Brother spoilers since that night including who won HOH, what are these special twist powers, which HGs are on the Block, and what craziness happened with the Veto competition. Everything to get you caught up and ready for Monday’s Veto meeting and Sunday’s Big Brother episode (8/7c). Let’s get to the good stuff!
Head of Household:
Vince was the outgoing HOH and Zae was evicted so that left 15 other HGs competing for the power. When the dust settled we had Jimmy with the key around his neck on Friday morning.
Remember that with the Blockbuster on Thursday nights we likely won’t ever have time to also get the HOH comp done in a one-hour episode so those HOH results are going to be overnight each week until the twist is retired.
A Jimmy HOH is promising on the drama factor, but still tough to tell about the strategy side of things. After his Veto speech about Keanu the chances for Feeds fun was high and his target seemed obvious, right?
Twist – Special Powers:
Nothing is easy or straight forward in the Big Brother house so when we saw the Mastermind sneaking around the house on Thursday night’s show we knew something was up. Turns out he must have been dropping off a few secret powers to mix up the game.
HGs competing in the HOH comp had a chance at three special powers. Mickey won the Coup D’Etat ability to overthrow the HOH but with the catch the HOH can figure her out in three minutes and stop it. Kelley won a chance to play a second Veto comp and win her own secondary Veto. Keanu won the ability to summon a champion to play as a second chance for the Veto.
Nominations:
Jimmy, uncertain who had what powers, still executed his plan to get Keanu on the Block along with Kelley and Amy. He wants Keanu out but again, nothing is easy in this game. Amy felt targeted for being an ally with Rachel and Kelley seems to just keep drawing herself to danger.
Veto Competition:
Keanu knew this was the right time to put his Veto into play so he let the DR know and sure enough it was the right move. BB20 winner Kaycee Clark arrived to save the day and defeated everyone else in the game to secure the power and hand it to Keanu. Sorry Jimmy, but your target is here at least another week!
Not to be outdone, Kelley has also decided to use her Veto power but we haven’t seen this one happen yet (nor will we actually “see” it but we’ll get the results). Kelley has been accused of throwing the Veto comp and I wouldn’t be surprised since she would want to get the spotlight for using her power. And let’s be honest, Kaycee wasn’t going to be easy to beat anyway!
Veto Meeting:
Jimmy is working through his renom plans and has floated sending Will to the Block. Most the house agrees this is a bad move, a waste of Jimmy’s week, but Jimmy says he wants to play against big players, not weak ones. Well, okay Jimmy!
Now if Kelley is going to mix things up before the Veto ceremony on Monday afternoon then Big Brother better get this going, right? Watch for more spoilers on that between now and midday Monday unless they want to combine it with the POV Meeting downtime on Monday afternoon. We shall see!
