It’s a new week in the Big Brother 16 house, so that means a new HOH and two new nominees! Wait, scratch that. Two HOHs and FOUR nominees. So that means a lot of “who should we nominate” went down. It sounds like there are a couple of options for Derrick and Nicole.

Big Brother 16 Live Feed Highlights – Thursday, July 10, 2014:
7:07 PM BBT – Feeds return following the live eviction episode.
7:08 PM BBT – Derrick and Caleb are talking about Devin still being the target this week. Derrick doesn’t want to nominated him outright, however. They want him backdoored.
7:30 PM BBT – Jocasta talks to Cody and Amber at different times. She’s worried about her vote to evict Zach and she also feels like an outcast and that she’s alone in the game.
7:44 PM BBT – Derrick, Zach and Cody are talking about who will be nominated this week. Everyone agrees it wold be crazy to nominate Devin and give him the chance to win veto.
7:50 PM BBT – Devin and Donny are talking. Devin is still trying to smooth things over with Donny since he has no one else.
8:00 PM BBT – Donny makes a smart game move and gives Nicole a pep talk and tells us, while looking into the camera, “This girl is going to make the right decision.”
8:04 PM BBT – Hayden proposes to Nicole with a ring made out of foil. She declines. Frankie, however, accepts.
8:13 PM BBT – Devin is telling Zach and Caleb that he’s a good guy outside of the house.
8:20 PM BBT – Nicole tells Brittany she does not know who to nominate. She also tells her that she did not want to win HOH. She says if she can’t nominate her targets, Caleb and Amber, then she will nominate Devin despite what the others want. She said if he wins veto, she’ll nominate Caleb. She wants to play her own game and not let the guys force her into a backdoor plan.
8:45 PM BBT – Amber is worried. Caleb tells her she’s safe and that if he knows she’s going up, he’ll make sure he goes up with her and they’ll win Battle of the Block (because Beast Mode Cowboy can’t lose, y’all).
8:50 PM BBT – Devin and Derrick talking. Derrick doesn’t want to talk game, but Devin still does. He says he wants to go home and see his daughter. He’s pushing to get nominated. But everyone thinks it’s just so he can definitely play in the veto.
9:15 PM BBT – Derrick, Cody and Caleb are talking about trusting Frankie less. They say he’s been telling people things he shouldn’t.
9:28 PM BBT – Derrick tells Zach to calm down this week and dial it all back. He says he wants him and Frankie to lay low this week and not cause any trouble.
9:30 PM BBT – Donny and Brittany talking about how their honesty will be their downfall in the game.
9:51 PM BBT – Nicole and Derrick come out with the “Who wants to see my HOH room?” Everyone heads upstairs. Nicole and Derrick share their photos and read their letters from home.
11:17 PM BBT – Derrick and Nicole are talking about nominees. They agree that Devin is the target this week. Derrick tells her that Devin asked to be put up. Nicole says “don’t do that.” So it sounds like she’d rather backdoor him, despite what she said earlier.
11:33 PM BBT – Derrick is working Nicole. He’s gotten her to agree to an alliance and tells her it’s his first actual alliance in the game.
11:40 PM BBT – Derrick and Nicole start talking nominees. They go through who they cannot nominate. That list is very long. They’re having a hard time coming up with who to nominate.
1:05 AM BBT – Nicole thinks she might be developing a crush on Hayden after all.
1:30 AM BBT – Caleb is stressing Amber getting a massage from Cody. He thinks they’re going to become a showmance.
1:45 AM BBT – Nicole is asking Derrick about the Bomb Squad. He’s trying to play it down saying it was never a real alliance.
2:15 AM BBT – Derrick working on Caleb to convince him to be willing to go up on the block. Caleb is buying it. He says he’ll throw BotB if Amber is on the opposing pair of noms.
2:42 AM BBT – Team America’s first mission revealed: start the rumor that a HG is related to a former HG.
2:45 AM BBT – Hayden and Nicole talking. She doesn’t fully trust Derrick. Hayden thinks B-S is still alive, but says they can trust Derrick for now. Later they can use his stack of F2s against him.
3:00 AM BBT – Nicole agrees to a little cuddling and Hayden snuggles up. She panics that she did something bad.
3:05 AM BBT – Zach comes to talk to Nicole. He’s advising against putting up Devin from the start. Zach advocates for either Donny or Jocasta as better options.
3:15 AM BBT – Nicole tells Zach Jocasta isn’t an available option as Derrick has already called dibs, so she’ll have to go with Donny or Victoria alongside Amber. Zach wants Victoria up on the block.
4:10 AM BBT – Derrick talks with Amber and Caleb about the BD-Devin plan. He warns Amber she’s likely to go up as a pawn and the cover is that Amber already did the same to Nicole. Then Caleb will go up on the other side, throw BotB so Amber is safe, and then Caleb will be available to play in Veto and win it in case Devin is drawn.
So Derrick and Nicole have their work cut out for them this week. And you can expect a lot of insanity this week in the Big Brother house.
