It was another week of ups and downs and backs and forths in the Big Brother 17 house as Austin and Vanessa held all the power.
So, needless to say, once again it will be easier to find Ewws than it will to find Ahhs. But I’ll try my hardest. Let’s get to it.
The Best and Worst Moments of Big Brother 17 Week 9
(Note: Some of these things only happened on the Big Brother Live Feeds)
Eww. Austin Wins HOH. No offense to that Austin fan out there, but I wanted the power to shift back because let’s face it, when Liz or Austin is in power the game gets boring, the feeds get boring and fans stop even coming around to read Big Brother blogs. So that’s a giant Eww. And let’s not forget what goes down in the HOH room when they’re in power.
Ahh. Meg and James Are Safe. I realize Meg is playing a terrible game and James is playing only a slightly better game, but they are a lot of fun to watch. James pranks make on to almost every episode and Meg is just one of those people that makes you want to say “bless her heart.” So I’m good with them getting safety for the week.
Eww. Austin Nominates Steve and John. I was OK with the Steve nomination, but I was hoping for Vanessa to go up as the “pawn” for a change and hopefully find the switch flipped on her. But Austin, despite his claims that Judas is a bad-ass, took the easy way out. Julie Chen even called his nominations the easy way out.
Ahh. Zingbot. So Zingbot is a lame creation, but I do like that he’s brutally honest with the houseguests. My favorite zing this season was definitely to Liz when he called out Austin for having a girlfriend. That was gold and it bothered Liz for days after.
Eww. Vanessa Wins The Veto. I didn’t really ever expect Austin to go through with backdooring Vanessa, but I did want to see him sweat the idea of it. So when Vanessa won, I was pretty bummed that the rest of the week would be boring.
Ahh. Vanessa Lets Steve Have It. I ALMOST felt sorry for Steve when Vanessa was berating him all week, but then I remembered how he’s contributed to letting a showmance and a set of twins all make it this deep into the game. And then there was that double eviction HOH that he won and used to take Jackie out. Still boggled by that one.
Eww. Johnny Mac Gets Evicted. That speaks for itself. There aren’t a whole lot of likable people left in the house, so losing his funny DRs isn’t a good feeling.
Ahh. The Returning Jury Competition. At least someone is coming back in the game that will surely throw a kink in some plans. Find out who returned by checking our Big Brother 17 spoilers.
