Diary Room: Adam Poch’s Player Rankings: Big Brother 18 – Week 7

Oh dear lord – the Big Brother 18 season is halfway done – and I am sure I speak for many of you that unless these people step up their games soon, they should just hand Paulie the $500K check so we can move on with our lives and start prepping for BB19. Although we are starting to see some dissension in the ranks – no one is willing to do anything about it.

Note: I wrote these rankings based on what was happening inside the house as of 8/10/16 – Midnight BB time – hopefully the recent current actions after that by Houseguests can change my outlook.

To be honest – I was considering giving everyone Tofu this week – because there have not been many stand outs playing well. Well, there are a couple, but they also have done bonehead things to knock them down a little. So my usual format to why people get what will change a little.

I am so looking forward to this week’s Big Brother Double Eviction episode – BUT FIRST – lets give out some bacon & tofu.

Natalie Negrotti – 5 strips of Bacon – she knows everything going on in the house. Unfortunately, she does not seem to know how to get the rest to act on it. Natalie is also working her way up the ranks as the most popular HG this year among fans – so in this down week – she gets the top spot.

Bridgette Dunning – 4 strips of Bacon – wasn’t Bridgette public enemy #2 just 2 weeks ago? She did slip back into the shadows a little. Her name keeps getting thrown around as “replacement” nominee – but she took a big step forward this week teaming back up with her Spy Girl Natalie. If the bigger threats keep going after each other – Bridgette could find her way in the final 6 pretty easily. From there, you play in every Veto – so you can protect yourself.

Corey Brooks & Nicole Franzel – 1 strip of Bacon – I am not giving them each 1 strip of bacon, I am giving them one to share since it seems like they are one person. Corey may have some things going on without Nicole – but he wont do anything unless he runs it past her first. And Nicole – well, let’s just say she is lucky other people are doing her dirty work cause she would be exposed and become a target.

To the rest of the Big Brother 18 Houseguests – here comes the Tofu!

Victor Arroyo – 2 strips of Tofu – Da’Vonne gave you a heads up that the rest of the house is coming for you – and what do you do with that info? Tell everyone & do not listen to her warnings. When he was fighting his way back into the house – he said he was going to go after Paulie – and now that he won HoH – he teams up with Paulie? When he shows up in the jury house soon, the first words he says to Day is “I shoulda listened to you”

The Tofu continues to roll out for the rest of the BB18 Houseguests.

Paul Abrahamian – 2 strips of Tofu – 1 strip for not seeing he is starting to get over confident and cracks are appearing in his game, and 1 strip for wearing that stupid duck floaty around. He was on a great path to the end of the game after a rocky start, but now he seems to care even more about being a character and not winning half a million dollars. I don’t care how much money your company makes, $500K slipping through your fingers is a once in a lifetime thing!

Zakiyah Everette – 3 strips of Tofu – all signs are pointing at Paulie is using you – and you feed right into it. You talk a good game but you do not do anything about it. Ok, yes, she sees what others are starting to see, if you go against Paulie you are sealing your fate in the game – but when do you plan on going against him? Probably a week too late. Watch her still vote for him at the end to win if he is sitting in those chairs.

James Huling – 4 strips of Tofu – America voted you their favorite player last year… America voted for you to have a game changing power… and how do you repay us??? Sitting around doing “what the house wants.” Does he realize – HE IS PART OF THE HOUSE TOO! You can take control of the game this week if you use your votes to flip and get Zakiyah out instead of Michelle. You will have plenty of protection too. At the end of the day, you may not even get the girl if you keep playing hot/cold with her. Have fun back in Texas waiting for another reality show to call you!

Michelle Meyer – 5 strips of Tofu – it took her 7 weeks to realize that she was not as solid of an ally as she thought she was. Being a Mean Girl has got you some attention – but being a cry baby has gotten you more attention. Now that Michelle is about to walk out the door she is regreting not using the Veto on Frank, she is trying to form a relationship with Bridgette (which she tried to do to you but you shunned her), and only now she is seeing that her game sucked!

That brings us to the Tofurkey of the Week – and despite winning ANOTHER Veto – I am giving it to Paulie Calafiore. When you form an alliance called PP with Paul – that does not give you the right to pee in the hot tub! DUDE – cmon man… No matter what he does the rest of the season – he will always be remembered by Big Brother fans as the guy that pissed in the hot tub. As I mentioned in the opening, his game is starting to be exposed but no one seems to want to do anything about it. So as long as the rest of the house plays his game, he can move on to peeing in the pool, on the kitchen floor, in other people’s beds, on Julie Chen… oops – sorry, got a little carried away there!

OK – there we have it – another Big Brother 18 week in the books. In the comments section below – let me know what you think of the rankings. Also, my question of the week is – do you think there is still a chance that Michelle can get James to use his power and help her stay this week?

I am praying to the BB Gods that whoever wins the HoH on Thursday really shakes the game up. Double Eviction episodes are usually full of drama. Fingers crossed that this saves this season from becoming BB16 all over again.

From outside the Big Brother house, I am Adam Poch, have a great day!
