Kaitlin Barnaby – Big Brother 15 interview:
Kaitlin Barnaby is your bartender recruit for Big Brother 15 in a surprisingly actually-applied HG season, but I’m ready to give this former Catholic school girl a chance.
She thinks she was recruited because “I’m a little bit of a sweetheart,” she said, but that could be taken advantage of since she considers herself to be “really bad with confrontation.”
Considering Kaitlin is a recruit it should be no surprise that she’s a complete newbie but has been watching episodes non-stop to try and catch up.
If you’re hoping for a potential showmance for Kaitlin we’ll have to wait and see how she reacts to the guys and her recent breakup back home, part of why she was ready to get away and trade that drama for a new brand of the same.
Kaitlin thinks her big heart, not literally of course, will help her get ahead in the game, but it could also end up being her weakness.
Her Big Brother strategy is to align with the guys. “I feel like I can manipulate them a little more than females.” I wanted to warn her about the likelihood of a complete vacuum of girl-power in there, but it sounds like she has a plan to deal with that.
As for that alliance of guys, they better not be pinning their hopes of rescue on a Veto competition with Kaitlin. She turned down every punishment but a slop-only diet and a 50-50 on giving up competition rights to win a Veto and save her ally.
While I think Kaitlin could be a lot of fun this season once she figures out what she’s doing in the house, but I’m just not sure if she’ll be able to last long enough for that to happen.
