Before I get into this week’s rankings for Big Brother 21, I want to just put this out there. I have been doing my Bacon/Tofu rankings over the last 8 seasons (the past 6 here on Big Brother Network). This has always been a fun quirky look at the Houseguests actions each week and I would reward (or punish) their gameplay on what they did and how it sets them up moving forward. I try to keep it strictly game related and not get into the personal / moral issues inside the game. It is increasingly hard to separate the two at times as some of it flows into the game as we have seen this season – but I ask that the BB Community not act as despicable as some of the HGs are.

Seeing comments on Facebook & Twitter that are just as bad if not worse than what the HGs are doing is not helping the situation, it is just breeding more hate into the world. These people will get what’s coming to them when they leave the house, and at that time we must also give them a chance to learn from their mistakes and change the way they act. Big Brother was / is / always will be a great social experiment – and you can never accurately predict how people will react under the pressure and circumstances of living in that house & playing this game.

I am in no way excusing their behavior – but only asking that we, the Big Brother community, be the bigger people and wait for justice to be served. And hey – if after they get out of the house, they learn nothing from what they did, IGNORE THEM. As an egomaniac myself – I know being shunned is worse than being hated.

OK – now that I got that off my chest – let’s get back to the fun stuff. Last week I named 3 Tofurkeys of the Week. This week I could probably give half the house Tofurkeys for the horrible horrible gameplay we have seen – so read on and see how many I actually give out.

Kat Dunn – 5 strips of Bacon – just like in college, when your professor graded on a curve, you did not have to be smart to get an A, just had to be less dumb than the rest of the class. Well, that is how Kat is getting 5 strips of bacon this week. She had the best week of all of them – despite being left in the dark and not part of any real alliance – she won her first Veto, continued to make some really strong bonds with other HGs – did not let her fight with Jackson turn her into an ugly mean girl, and is quietly becoming a fan favorite. Kudos to Kat for turning her game around – maybe by accident, maybe on purpose – but she is doing it.

Tommy Bracco – 3 strips of Bacon – as the appointed Mediator – Tommy has been brought into several conversations to make sure when people retell what was told – there is a “neutral” witness so lies cannot be spread. In the process, Tommy is collecting all of the information that people keep blabbing, and is still seen as a compassionate shoulder for people to cry to. He has maintained his over the top personality very well and despite popping up on a couple of people’s radars for a minute here and there – he still is far down on anyone’s hit list.

Jessica Milagros – 2 strips of Bacon – now that Camp Comeback is over – and the big alliance is about to blow up on each other – Jessica’s target has shrunk. Being taken off the block this week by Kat was just the amount of safety she needed and now she will fade into the background and is a lock to make it to jury. She does need to learn to listen more than talk sometimes. Not saying she is not a good listener – but.. she sometimes rambles on and on and on and… you get the picture.

Holly Allen – 1 strip of Bacon – Holly is still part of the Big Group, as well as solid smaller groups, as well as staying good with her “showmance’s” ex side piece – and this actually bodes well for her moving forward. Unlike other showmances in the past – no one looks at Jackson & Holly as targets together. She was worried that when Jackson hurt himself in a Veto last week, people would put the target on her, but it is not. During the chaos that followed the Nomination Ceremony – Holly did a great job keeping her mouth shut when it was actually her that called Nick & Bella bullies. Unlike someone else who we will get to later. Holly has not damaged any relationships in the house and is still pleasant enough that if she ever did need to switch her allies up to get herself further – she could probably do it easily.

David Alexander / Ovi Kabir / Kemi Faknule – Bacon Tofu Smores – since the 3 Camp Comebackers are not official game players – I cannot give them Bacon or Tofu – but still need to add them to my rankings since they are still playing the game, sort of.

First off – Kemi… I want to give her her own refrigerator when she gets out of the house – to put whatever she wants in there without repercussions. If you do not know what I am talking about – watch this – https://twitter.com/powerofcheeto1/status/1150908776725274631

Next – Ovi – sadly I want him to go home tonight and be out of that ugly house. He is just too nice of a person to have to live in that environment. It’s good to see him try to stand up to the bullies – but he is still not meant to play BB this season. That is sad for such a big fan who has dreamed to get on this show – but this just was not meant to be for him. Let him go back home and use his positive energy for a greater good.

Last – David – of all of the current Camp Comeback people – he is the only one I think can come back into the game and truly make a difference. Since coming back from his one week exile – he has done the best job to get people actually willing to work with him, but he is smart enough that he will end up taking shots at those same people.

Sam Smith – 1 strip of Tofu – Sam is a tough one to truly gauge. He is aware of a lot going on around him, but he also is missing the biggest thing. Sam is linked to Nick and Bella and to some, he is the bigger target than they are. He still has solid meaningful conversations with most of the people in the house – and no one hates him (like some others) – but will anyone go out on a limb and risk their game for him? He did joke that he may have to “pull a Nicole” and sell out Nick & Bella to keep himself safe depending on how the next couple of weeks go, and has proven to be pretty good at competitions. This is a huge moment in the game and his fate will be decided soon.

Cliff Hogg – 2 strips of Tofu – just like Ovi – Cliff is just too nice of a person to have to play this season. While he was worried he would be the first out like some other “older” players in recent seasons, he has no clue he is about to be sent packing this week and probably for good. Unless the comeback competition is to see how far in your mouth you can fit your foot – not sure what sort of competition will fit his skill set. He better hope its something random and not physical. Then again, he did make it out of the Banishment competition first – not sure he can pull that rabbit out of his hat again.

Analyse Talvera – 3 strips of Tofu – so so so disappointed that one of my preseason favs is turning into such a mean angry player. While I kind of saw this coming, I did not realize how bad she would be. She never has anything nice to say about anything (except if it comes to sex) – and unlike Holly who kept quiet in the HoH during the anti-Nicole conversation – all Sis wanted to do was go attack Nicole. She should have kept her mouth shut – but as we are learning, that is not her thing. She will trash talk behind people’s backs and somehow think that’s OK. While not setting herself up as a target – I am guessing she will end up being her own worst enemy at some point soon.

Jack Matthews / Jackson Michie – 5 strips Tofu each – the self-proclaimed Food Police – these 2 “Jackholes” really do not see that their behavior is not winning any fans inside or outside of the house. They both think they are running the house (even though they kind of are) and making rules (that people are not always following). HOPEFULLY (for us) both of their games come crashing down at some point – but sadly for now – they are intimidating others and getting their way. There is no way they can keep this up for another 60+ days, can they??? Just like Kemi, I want to buy them both refrigerators after the season – but unlike Kemi – I want to drop them on their heads from a 5 story building. But knowing them, the fridges will bounce off their thick skulls and they will tell everyone to not give me any bacon ever again!

That brings us to the Tofurkey of the Week section – which this season is called the TofurkeyS of the Week. Last week we had 3 – this week – I will give out 4. I honestly do not know which of these 4 was the worst – so I will just go in alphabetical order

Christie Murphy – what was with that meltdown before the Veto ceremony? She was easily on her way to getting 3 or more strips of bacon for organizing the blindside to keep Nicole and shove that in Nick & Bella’s face. As the Kinks said – “Paranoia, the destroyer.” She really did a lot of harm to her game. There have been some comparisons to Vanessa from BB17 – with her paranoia & crying to get her way, and just like Vanessa, I was hoping to hear a DR session from Christie saying that her paranoia was all game-related. It was not! As if that was not bad enough, then she goes on to tell just about everybody – INCLUDING NICK & BELLA about her power, and who has the other powers. Also, because she could not keep her mouth shut and tried to lie about her power – she was forced to tell the player the exact extent of her power (its in the BB rulebook, you cannot lie about your power if you talk about it). Christie still has people around her to protect her – but this faux pas will come back to bite her later.

Isabella Wang – 2nd week in a row Bella gets these honors. She is such a hypocrite – when other people do the same thing as she does, they are evil but she is righteous. I just cannot wait for her to get out of the house and see that her venomous rant at Nicole was completely unwarranted. Hopefully, that will be the catalyst for her to change the way she acts (oh, and the shame that her mother will put on her).

Nick Maccarone – also the 2nd week in a row he gets the TotW honor. Nick does have some people manipulation skills – as we saw when he was telling Kat to do whatever she wanted with the veto, but kept saying he wanted her to use it. But his read on the house and how he is missing the signs his own group coming after him is laughable. He actually kind of knows it – but did not want to take the first shot – and now he is in for a big surprise when the votes come down.

Nicole Anthony – this one is the toughest to hand out on a personal level – but as I said in my opening rant, my rankings are based on gameplay. As soon as she told Nick & Bella their own people were targeting them, I decided that she would probably be a TotW. this was AFTER Nick told her she was 100% safe this week. But she still felt the need to go to the most untrustworthy person with info that had nothing to help her get further. It was great to see her realize that in last night’s DR sessions. Nicole will get a 2nd chance at her BB life tonight as she is most likely not getting evicted and depending on who comes back & how the chips fall with the Gr8ful/Unde9able alliances – she could fade into the background. Lets hope she learned from her mistakes this week!

WOW – that was a lot to write – and I hope you got this far without being bored (like some people after listening to Jessica talk). My question of the week is – of the 4 Tofurkeys of the Week – who do you think was the worst?
