Cornbread – Big Brother OTT Eviction Interview

Cornbread came, he saw, and was promptly given the boot on Big Brother Over The Top. Now on the outside, but not quite yet free to the world I had the chance to chat with Cornbread about his experience on Big Brother this season, as brief as it was.

Cornbread evicted from BBOTT

He was only in the game for a week but Cornbread certainly left a mark on the audience who voted him in as both the America’s Nominee and the America’s Eviction Vote. So what led him to this lonely state? Cornbread reveals that and more in our interview.

Big Brother Network: If you could go back & change one move what would it be and why?

Cornbread: Maybe I wouldn’t have talked so much. When you’re hopped up on caffeine and you’re trying to make friends you can’t stop conversation. At the same time, people’s got to get to know you.

I also think my major wrong move in the house was giving Jason the virus on the HoH.

BBN: What was your favorite experience of being on BBOTT?

Cornbread: The whole production of it and being able to talk with Julie was the highlight of my time. Julie is an awesome person. I felt like I was up there with royalty, ya know?

BBN: If you had a second chance in the game, knowing what you know now, name a HG you’d align with to win and why.

Cornbread: That’s a tough one since at the end everyone turned against me. If we were starting from scratch, I’d be right there with Jason through and through.

I probably wouldn’t have latched on to Monte so quick. He had it out for Jason from the get go and you know I really didn’t have it out for Jason, but I was trying my best to kinda go with my alliance to show them I was trustworthy and I had their back. It backfired on me.

BBN: Were those final parting words to the HGs “f**k y’all” as you went out the door?

Cornbread: When I walked out the door, someone said something like “good luck you” and I was just like “f**k you.” I’m not gonna let you be positive to me when you put me in a negative position, you know? I hate that even happened, but you know your emotions can get the best of you sometimes.

BBN: Thank you, Cornbread.

There were a few more topics discussed on the conference call including any possible relations to Honey Boo Boo. Cornbread explained that there was no relation to her but that she had come to an event where he had won a belly flop contest for Redneck Of The Year so they had pictures taken together, but no association between them.

Then as for who CB hoped to see at the end, he’d like to see Monte or Scott and to a lesser extent Alex. He expects Monte to be in trouble soon though for target Jason.

What’s your take on Cornbread’s game and his perspective on the way out of house? He still hasn’t been exposed to everything that happened since he has remained in sequester but I’m sure he’ll be hearing more. His fans will probably eventually be able to reach him on social media, but for now he said he’s a little cautious about that likely because of getting stung twice by America’s vote.

  1. Cornbread said quite a few ‘ignorant’ things in that house and his social game was putrid. His “Fck y’all” exit will be a classic BB moment though.
