After another Block-busting season (see what I did there?) there is more on the way with Big Brother 28 in the summer of 2026 for an all-new season of fun! Now more than twenty-five years on the books the new season of Big Brother will be taking us through all the ups and downs of the show we know and love.
It wouldn’t be the same without perennial host Julie Chen Moonves so you can fully expect her return again for the BB28 season and until we hear otherwise I will expect she’s the only familiar face we will be seeing. Then again, the sole Vet HG did deliver on the promise of drama with Rachel Reilly last season. Perhaps production will be tempted to try and capture lightning in the bottle a second time?
Big Brother 28 Cast:
The cast of HGs is finally here and the preseason kicks off with 14 all-new HGs, but wait, there’s more! Julie concluded her introduction of the Houseguests saying there were more surprises on the way. Right after that CBS put out a press release confirming there were more HGs yet to be revealed, so those will be our stunt casts with past HGs and/or crossovers from other CBS Reality TV shows.

Big Brother 28 Schedule:
CBS has announced the new season will begin on Thursday, July 9th at 8PM ET/PT with a 90-minute season premiere followed by the second episode on Sunday, July 12th for another 90-minute show. Then we’ll fall into the regular routine of Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday shows all summer.
Along with the regular episodes CBS has announced the return of Big Brother Unlocked for the BB28 season. Expect to watch those shows on Friday nights again this summer.
So when will Big Brother 28 finish up? Looks to be late September based on clues so far and that should give us a near 90-day window to wrap things up for the summer.

Big Brother 28 Live Feeds:
And yes, I expect the Big Brother Live Feeds will be back and they’ll once again be offered through Paramount+. This show wouldn’t be the same without the Feeds and it’s a complete shame they removed the rewind option, but we’ll make do just as we always have!
