After another Block-busting season (see what I did there?) there is more on the way with Big Brother 28 in the summer of 2026 for an all-new season of fun! Now more than twenty-five years on the books the new season of Big Brother will be taking us through all the ups and downs of the show we know and love.
It wouldn’t be the same without perennial host Julie Chen Moonves so you can fully expect her return again for the BB28 season and until we hear otherwise I will expect she’s the only familiar face we will be seeing. Then again, the sole Vet HG did deliver on the promise of drama with Rachel Reilly last season. Perhaps production will be tempted to try and capture lightning in the bottle a second time?
Big Brother 28 Schedule:
So when will Big Brother 28 start has yet to be answered but looking at the past few seasons, ignoring the chaos of the pandemic impact on the BB schedule, and I think it’s safe to expect the new season to start in early July. That should give us a near 90-day window to wrap things up by mid October again for the new season which works great because if they take us into November again I’m gonna lose my Zingbot’d mind.
Big Brother 28 Cast:
The search for new Houseguests is always ongoing and the BB28 casting process is now open. It’s been a very slow return to casting call audition events with just a few each year recently compared to the dozen plus before the pandemic. I imagine watching videos is easier, but the tangible in-person presentation seems like it would be way better in avoiding duds getting down the path.
If you’re thinking of applying then be sure to check out the official CBS casting site and watch for more details there. We’ll keep an eye on it too!
Big Brother 28 Live Feeds:
And yes, I expect the Big Brother Live Feeds will be back and they’ll once again be offered through Paramount+. This show wouldn’t be the same without the Feeds and it’s a complete shame they removed the rewind option, but we’ll make do just as we always have!
Once the preseason news for the 2026 summer rolls out you’ll have more updates here on the site and we’ll share them online through Facebook, Bluesky, and Twitter. Get ready for more Big Brother soon!
