We have reached the final days of the Big Brother 27 season. The final Power of Veto Competition for BB27 played out on Tuesday, and the live Veto Ceremony will take place during Thursday night’s eviction. Now that this week’s Veto winner has had a chance to talk to their fellow Big Brother houseguests, we have a good idea of what’s going to happen Thursday night.
For the first time this season, the HOH and Power of Veto winners are the same person this week. Morgan won HOH, nominated Ashley and Ava, and then went on to win the final Power of Veto of the season. While we already knew what was likely going to happen, there were some conversations and short periods of time where Morgan seemed to be questioning what to do.
We all knew as soon as the Veto results came in that Morgan would be keeping the noms the same, making Vince the sole vote to evict on Thursday night. However, Ashley spent most of the day on Tuesday planting seeds of doubt with Morgan. She even gave Ava some advice on how to campaign for the Veto to be used so they could stay and send Vince to the Jury with only a few days left in the season.
Ashley started by telling Morgan that Keanu finding out about the Judges could change his perspective on Vince’s game. She also pointed out that if Vince wins the Final HOH, he will decide on who to take based on emotions, whereas Morgan will do what’s best for her game.
When they went over the votes for the scenario where Morgan and Vince are sitting next to each other in F3, Ashley made some good points about why each Juror might vote to keep Morgan or Vince in the end. She pointed out that it could be a $750,000 gamble for Morgan to take Vince to F2. Therefore, his winning the Final HOH could come back to bite her.
When talking to Ava, Ashley pointed out that she should tell Morgan about Zach and Vince both working to flip the votes on Will when he was sitting next to Adrian. Ashley says that Morgan thought it was only Zach when, in reality, Vince was trying to get Will out of the house earlier in the season. This is just one example of a time when Vince lied to Morgan.
Regardless of the attempts to sway Morgan into using the Veto on Ava or Ashley this week and allowing one of them to take Vince out going into F3, Morgan confirmed to Ashley this morning that she is going to keep the nominations the same. She thinks that her undying loyalty will be something the Jury respects. This is not something Vince could claim since his Jury Management was atrocious.
Do you think it’s a better idea for Morgan to use the Veto and let Vince go?
