What a weekend of Big Brother 27 since Thursday’s eviction show that sent Zach out the door despite his game-saving power that he left in his back pocket. Now there’s a new Head of Household and the game is heading in a similar direction as it did last week with bigger targets and less messing around than we saw earlier in the summer.
The punishment costumes have been put away and the HGs are focused on getting things done, but who would win out on the plans this week? Does the new Head of Household get her target or does the Veto dash away those plans yet again on Big Brother? Read on for the latest spoilers and results from everything since Thursday’s show.
Head of Household:
We expected the return of The Wall for a great big ol’ Endurance competition but that just didn’t happen. Instead the HGs faced off in what Rachel called a Mario Party fashioned competition and we’ll see that on Sunday’s show. Well Rachel must be good at Mario Party!
Yes, the returning HG has taken over and Rachel is now tied for the most HOH wins ever alongside Cody Calafiore. Quite an accomplishment, but she can’t rest on her laurels. Instead Rachel set her plans and is playing with those cards close to her fancy attire this season.
Nominations:
Rachel wasn’t going to waste her week on side quests like Jimmy or Vince did in their weeks, and hopefully she’s not going to let herself lose sight of her real goal like Mickey did. Instead Rachel has set out on getting a threat and while she definitely has Vince on her mind she may be willing to take out Mickey or Morgan instead with this week’s nominations.
It’s been interesting because Rachel knows not to let too many HGs discover her plans and in fact it seems like she remembers that the only person you can trust on Big Brother is yourself. She seems to be staying tight lipped on who is her real target may be but she has mentioned enough to have HGs thinking it’s Mickey with Morgan as the alternate. Could that be true and would that plan fall apart with the Veto?
Veto Competition:
The Veto was not just any regular PoV event, it was the return of OTEV! Last year you’ll remember that crew barely stayed on the field and this year was only a nudge better.
By the end of the third round of OTEV Lauren was crowned the winner, which must have really stung for everyone hoping to escape the Block. So what’s Lauren going to do with the medallion?
Veto Meeting:
There has been plenty of talks and strategies for how to convince Lauren to put that Veto to use or on the other side, to put it right back in the box. Keanu is trying to convince Vince not to ask Lauren to save him but rather vote for him to stay. Yeah, that didn’t work. Vince is putting in the work with Lauren just as he should.
Mickey and Morgan of course want safety too, but if Lauren is going to use it then she’d probably save Vince considering she just voted to keep him over her no-mance Zach on Thursday. But I’m still not convinced that’s a likely event either. My guess? The medallion does not get used on Monday and the Noms remain as they are now.
