We are into the final month and final weeks of the Big Brother 27 season as check-out time is nearing for the Hotel Mystere Houseguests. With just four weeks left in the twelve week season featuring 83 days of gameplay we still have TEN HGs left in the mix and things are going to need to speed up quickly!

After several long, long seasons we’re back down to a respectable duration for a Big Brother season and this one feels like it has gone quickly. Having premiered on July 10th we’re still in the eighth week of competitions and evictions. Now in less than four weeks the confetti will have dropped and one of the remaining Houseguests will be $750,000 richer!

As often happens, the remaining Big Brother 27 schedule is going to get a little wonky here as we move into September with NFL ramping up and new seasons of the fall lineup taking over. In fact, we won’t see another Sunday episode of Big Brother until September 21st thanks to MTV awards and Emmy awards shows over the next two weekends. And by then there is just one week remaining by that point!

Now this week will run normal with a Wednesday and Thursday show plus another Unlocked this Friday (Sept 5th) at 8/7c. Then next week without a Sunday show we will instead get a Tuesday, Sept 9th episode at 8/7c. The following week instead of a special Tuesday show we’ll get a 2-hour Wednesday (Sept 17th) and that one right there feels like an opportunity for a bunch of evictions, right? Maybe a nice Triple even?? Production knows, but I don’t, not yet.

There will be three more Unlocked shows still this season, each on a Friday, with September 5th (8/7c), September 19th (8/7c), and September 26th (8/7c). I don’t see anything lined up for another one of those merged episodes like we had last time for Unlocked as a lead-in to the regular show.

So with so many HGs left and the Jury still not getting started even with this week’s eviction the game is really going to need to speed quickly. Which side can take advantage of the rapid pace and get their targets out in short order?
