It’s been a back-and-forth weekend in the Big Brother 27 house. Lauren and Morgan have basically been having a tug of war all season with Vince. They’re his number one and two in the game – but seem to change order frequently. On the Big Brother episode, Vince said in the Diary Room that Lauren is his number one. This is why he picked her over Morgan to compete in the hamster wheel of game death competition. The one that sent Rachel home. However, he immediately tried to protect Morgan by having Lauren pick Morgan instead of her ally Kelley.
Lauren granted his wishes, and Vince got to keep both of his people safe. Nevertheless, these actions have created so many problems for him. Morgan was hurt by Vince picking Lauren over her and continues to bring that up. Then the following week, Lauren tried to take Morgan out of the game. Her second Veto win saved Morgan and let the Lauren and Morgan rivalry live on. As Head of Household, Vince has had another indecisive week.
Morgan wants Lauren to see the block because she has not been nominated in 70 days. Morgan claims that it will look really good on her game resume at the end. Vince disagrees. He thinks it just shows how irrelevant she was in the game that no one cared to try to take her out for 70 days. However, Morgan has been insistent and persistent about Vince needing to nominate Lauren. Before his initial nominations, he almost nominated Lauren instead of Ava.
However, Lauren was able to convince Vince not to make this move, especially to appease Morgan. When Morgan won the Veto, she immediately began plotting to use it on Ava to get Lauren on the block. Ashley wasn’t sure about this gamble because Vince could rebel and nominate Ashley instead of Lauren.
Morgan also considered a more complicated and bolder move of removing Keanu from the block instead of Ava. After much debate, Morgan let go of that plan. However, she didn’t let go of the idea of using the Veto. Vince told Morgan how using the Veto hurt his game, but she wanted Vince to make this move to show his loyalty to her.
After many long hours and discussions, Vince agreed to nominate Lauren. On Sunday night, he told Lauren that he had considered it. She pulled out the big threat. Lauren told Vince that if he nominated her, they were done in this game. She said if Morgan could play that way, she could as well. This briefly worked, and Vince wanted Morgan not to use the Veto. He was also worried he was being played by Ashley and Morgan.
He heard that Morgan was considering using the Veto on Keanu from Keanu, which sent him spinning. However, late into the evening, Morgan got Vinny back on the nominate Lauren train. He warned Lauren this morning about his Power of Veto Ceremony plan. She once again said it’s over for them if he nominates her. Even if she stays, it’s over.
Vince seemingly doesn’t believe Lauren’s threat because he still plans to nominate her today. It will be interesting to see if this decision finally ends their game relationship.
