It wasn’t just any Veto Day in the Big Brother 27 house on Saturday. It was the punishment comp day! Lots of silliness out of this one with Vince now dressed as an egg detective and Keanu becoming a Butt-ler serving food on an extended rear. Then there were some secretive backyard punishments for another pair of HGs but we haven’t been allowed to see that yet. Sigh.
While that’s all silly and messy there was some real game talk happening with the Veto being won by someone not on the Block for a change which means we may see things hold just as they are but if not the new HOH has her renom plan set and ready.

Big Brother 27 Live Feed Highlights – Saturday, August 9, 2025:
8:05 AM BBT – HGs got their wake up call for Veto Day.
9:16 AM BBT – Feeds are back from picking players. Katherine and Will are joining the fray.
9:20 AM BBT – HGs are fretting over what the comp might be: mental or physical.
9:20 AM BBT – Mickey doesn’t like the idea of Ava renom’ing Mickey and asks Ava to talk with Rachel first before she does that.
9:25 AM BBT – Ava confirms to Rachel her renom plan is for Morgan to go up. She notes that Morgan really wanted to be picked and didn’t buy her story that it was just because she wanted to play.
10:15 AM BBT – Rylie complains to Morgan that Ava was selfish and didn’t share her HOH treats/food with him. He doesn’t think Ava is doing her HOH the right way.
10:20 AM BBT – Vincent warns Keanu that Rachel is creating a new alliance with Mickey, Ava, and Will. Keanu says Rachel would be getting the wrong allies there. They both think Mickey is the leader of the other side.
10:25 AM BBT – Mickey pitching to Will and Ashley that she thinks Lauren should be the renom, not Morgan. Ashley isn’t convinced and says she’s not close with Morgan. Will isn’t saying much.
11:20 AM BBT – Rachel is giving Zach a peptalk to go into the comp feeling strong. She reminds him that he can’t control everything.
11:35 AM BBT – Morgan tells Zach she doesn’t want to be in a position where she has to pick between him and Vincent. She thinks she might be going up if there’s a renom, but still wants both of them to play hard to win their safety.
11:40 AM BBT – Ashley worries to Rachel that they’ve lost Rylie’s support. Rachel isn’t sure.
11:45 AM BBT – Feeds have cut for the Veto comp.
3:12 PM BBT – Feeds are back. Ava and Will are upstairs in the HOH discussing results.
3:15 PM BBT – Ava got $5K and Will won a trip to London. Katherine won the Veto.
3:17 PM BBT – Ava tells Will she doesn’t care if Katherine uses the Veto because she has a plan for a renom.
3:20 PM BBT – Downstairs Vince is discussing his egg related punishment/costume.
3:35 PM BBT – Rachel tells Mickey she does not want to be in Jury. Either out before Jury or make it to F2, nothing in between.
3:40 PM BBT – Mickey promises Rachel that she has her back.
4:00 PM BBT – Will says he’s determined to not take anything personal in the game.
4:00 PM BBT – Ava talking with Keanu upstairs. She says she respects Keanu and how he has handled the nomination. Ava assures Keanu she is targeting someone else and won’t be campaigning for him to go this week.
4:10 PM BBT – Morgan is crying to Will that she will have to tell Vincent that she’s voting to keep Zach because he’s better for her game than Vincent would be.
4:25 PM BBT – Ava says she won’t be mad at Katherine if she uses the Veto because she won it. Ava is thinking of letting Katherine know that Rylie wouldn’t be a renom if she used it. She is still thinking of renom’ing Morgan.
4:35 PM BBT – Morgan talking with Keanu about the possible Veto use. Morgan strongly expects she would be the renom (yes). They think Zach is pretty safe. Keanu says he will throw the Blockbuster.
5:05 PM BBT – Vince is getting teary-eyed and upset that he accidentally won that HOH comp.
5:40 PM BBT – Morgan and Mickey talk about Rachel. Morgan says Rachel needs to go because she’s annoying her. Morgan really wants Vince to be the one to stay.
5:50 PM BBT – Mickey and Morgan debating who should go between Zach and Vince. Morgan likes the two of them because they ask her about herself.
5:55 PM BBT – Ashley can’t believe that Katherine took the Veto from Ava in the competition. Ava isn’t bothered and says it was okay and she respects Katherine more now for taking the medallion instead of keeping the $5K. Ashley would feel much different if she had been HOH. Ava likes that this means it might not be used either (which helps Ava avoid the renom situation).
6:15 PM BBT – Vince is back with his egg detective costume. It’s huge and hilarious.
7:10 PM BBT – Keanu has his punishment costume. He is a “Buttler” which a big rear and a tray on it. Keanu has to deliver food to HGs when instructed, even in the middle of the night when they’re sleeping.
7:30 PM BBT – Feeds have been down for a while now.
9:10 PM BBT – Feeds have returned after a near two hour downtime.
9:15 PM BBT – Morgan talks with Vince about her own HOH nom plans. She would put up Lauren, Rylie, and Katherine though she might swap out Katherine with Ava. Vince thinks Rylie would get upset about Katherine being nominated.
9:30 PM BBT – Keanu is feeling pretty confident that he has Rachel on his side and supporting him now.
9:45 PM BBT – Will tells Keanu he has to support Zach after he gave him the London trip, but if Zach comes down off the Block then Will will help him (K).
9:50 PM BBT – Kelley promises Keanu her vote and she thinks he has Morgan’s too. Kelley plans to lie to Vince and tell him he has her vote, but it isn’t true.
10:00 PM BBT – HGs appear to be outside in the backyard for a punishment event with no cameras on it. Instead we get Kelley sweeping the bathroom. Rachel and Zach are bundled for his outdoor punishment (he picked Rachel to join him).
10:10 PM BBT – Keanu is back inside to try and make pigs in a blanket but he can’t figure out how to open the tube of dough.
11:25 PM BBT – Ashley suspects Morgan is acting strangely towards her now.
11:40 PM BBT – Vince and Keanu are questioning Morgan about their nominations and why she was safe. Morgan thinks she’s seen as good for the other women’s games.
11:45 PM BBT – Morgan thinks Katherine should be free game to target but Keanu warns it’ll create a problem for them with Rylie.
11:55 PM BBT – Morgan is trying to figure out why Mickey now wants Keanu out instead of Zach or Vince. Morgan is worried this situation is going to blow up on her. Vince is trying to persuade Morgan to push for his safety.
12:00 AM BBT – Rylie has promised Keanu is vote to stay on Thursday no matter what happens with the renom. Keanu praising Rylie and suggesting they’ll do The Challenge together and could be best friends.
12:05 AM BBT – Rylie tells Keanu that Morgan is playing way too hard and seems to be paranoid.
2:30 AM BBT – Keanu gets a wake up call to go make snacks to feed Rylie and Vince, who are both sleeping.
3:30 AM BBT – Few HGs are awake and discussing Rachel and Zach’s backyard punishment. Sounds like it isn’t pleasant.
4:00 AM BBT – Morgan assuring Vincent that he should have her vote and Mickey’s.
4:30 AM BBT – Vincent and Morgan still up and chatting. Vincent seems uncomfortable in his bulky costume and earlier wished it could have been a slim unitard instead.
It’s lame that production isn’t letting us see the backyard endurance punishment for Rachel and Zach. I don’t think it would have cost them any viewers in the show later but that’s what they must be thinking. We’ll see it eventually.
