As the dust settled from Rachelโs eviction, the BB Comics veto competition pushed the Big Brother 27 house into a new battle over who would land on the block.
The episode begins right after Rachelโs gut-wrenching elimination. The house is speechless, but the Mastermind pops up on the screen to confirm that Rachel is gone and heading to jury. He warns the players not to get too comfortable because his month of mayhem is only just beginning.
That sobering message is quickly followed by the realization that there is still a Head of Household to crown. With only three people competing, the pressure is squarely on Vince, Lauren, and Morgan. Tyler announces that Lauren clocked the fastest time and is the new HOH.
Morgan wastes no time letting Vince know that she blames him. She is upset not only that Rachel went home, but also that he chose Lauren over her, effectively fracturing the Judges alliance. Vince insists it is not his fault, but Morgan does not let him off that easily. She tells him directly that she knows Lauren will nominate her. Vince tries to reassure her, but Morgan remains convinced.
Wince then checks in with Lauren. She tells him that he, Kelley, and Ava are the only people safe from her nominations this week. Vince pushes her to spare Morgan, but Lauren shows no interest in listening to him again.
Meanwhile, Ashley and Will fume about Vinceโs choice to side with Lauren. Will notes that it may have been a great move for Vince, but it spells disaster for the rest of the Judges.
Keanu then makes his pitch to Lauren. He hints that nominating Morgan and evicting her would free up Vince. He even floats the idea of nominating Vince himself. Lauren, however, is not swayed. In fact, she reveals to the viewers that Keanu is actually one of her options this week.
At the nomination ceremony, Lauren selects Morgan, Will, and Ashley as her nominees. Morgan is still upset with Vince for picking Lauren last week, though their hugs have not gotten any shorter.
The veto draw adds more tension, as Vince (through Morganโs houseguest’s choice) and Ava join the competition alongside Lauren, Morgan, Ashley, and Will. The challenge is the fan-favorite BB Comics, where players zip line past a window to identify which comic covers are authentic. The fastest player wins the coveted Power of Veto.
BB Comics Results:
1 โ 12:34, Morgan
2 โ 13:03, Lauren
3 โ 20:32, Ashley
Morgan pulls off the win, securing the veto and sealing her safety for the week.
Keanu believes this is his chance to flip the script. He works to convince Lauren to nominate Vince as the replacement, but Laurenโs real plan is to put Keanu on the block. Kelley gives Keanu a heads-up so he is not blindsided, though he still cannot understand why Lauren would target him after he spared her the previous week. He also thinks it would be smart for the others to want him in the game as a shield.
Keanu keeps pushing, but his efforts fall flat. At the veto ceremony, Morgan saves herself as expected, and Lauren follows through by naming Keanu as the replacement nominee.
