Big Brother 27 Episode 26 Recap: Morgan Stacks Up A Win, Keanu’s Plans Topple

If you thought putting Vince in a time out last episode was dramatic, tonight’s episode of Big Brother 27 took things to another level. Keanu tried to juggle loyalty, strategy, and his own grudges, but by the end of the night his carefully stacked plans toppled just like his charcuterie puzzle in the veto competition.

Wednesday night’s episode picks up right after Keanu nominated Morgan, Vince and Mickey. Keanu explains that his goal is to send Morgan home, freeing Vince to work with him without Morganโ€™s influence.

Not everyone is impressed. Mickey calls out Keanuโ€™s confusing decisions, while Vince regrets not targeting Rachel during his own HOH. Most of the house is shocked that Keanu nominated Vince at all.

Rachel, however, is thrilled with the nominations. She reminds us that they are identical to her own when she was HOH and says she is starting to trust Keanu again, though she is only taking baby steps.

Vince and Keanu sit down for a talk. Vince admits he understands why he is on the block, while Keanu reassures him that he does not want him to go home. Keanu says part of the reasoning was to ensure Vince could not use the veto on Morgan and partly to show Vince that constant betrayal has consequences.

Morgan then makes her pitch. She tries to convince Keanu that working with her would be smart, but he tells her directly that she is his target. In the diary room he confirms that Morgan leaving is still his plan, because he wants Vince all to himself.

Keanu later decides that Vince has been punished enough and hopes to pull him off the block. He says if he wins the veto he will use it to save Vince and tries to recruit Kelley and Lauren to do the same. Kelley flatly refuses, pointing out that Vince has burned her too many times. Lauren agrees, because of course she does. She already saved him once.

Rachel grows uneasy, worried that Keanu might backstab her again. Even if she is safe, she fears Ashley could be the casualty instead. But before those worries can play out, it is time for the veto draw. Joining Keanu, Vince, Mickey, and Morgan are Lauren and Kelley, with Keanu selecting Kelley as his houseguestโ€™s choice. The lineup looks perfect for Vince, though Kelley has already made it clear she will not save him.

Keanu again reassures Rachel that she will not be nominated but admits that Ashley or Ava are his likely replacement options.

Then it is time for the veto competition. Big Brother 26โ€™s Angela hosts a chaotic challenge where players must complete a charcuterie stacking puzzle while giant rotating Angela heads knock down their work every two minutes. After several wipeouts, Angela gives them an extra three minutes. Eventually, Morgan powers through and secures the win, completely derailing Keanu and Vinceโ€™s plan.

Or so it seems.

Keanu quickly realizes nominating his ally just to scold him might not have been the brightest move. He and Vince scheme to convince Morgan to use the veto on Vince instead of herself. The pitch is that if she saves Vince, Keanu will put Lauren on the block. In reality, he would nominate Ashley.

For a brief moment Morgan considers it, but at the veto ceremony she wisely uses the veto on herself. Keanu follows through by nominating Ashley as the replacement. Ashley is furious and reminds Keanu that this is a social game and you can’t win your way to the end.
