For the first time this season it felt like an Eviction Eve in the Big Brother 23 house. Whitney really turned up the volume on her campaign, and even had Christian ready to get the vote flipped. Of course he’d likely never actually have the numbers to make that happen, but Whitney definitely put in a valiant effort. Read on to find out if a vote flip could be possible at tonight’s live eviction.

Big Brother 23 Live Feed Highlights – Wednesday, August 4, 2021:
3:08 PM BBT – Britini tells Hannah that this next week is crucial because there is no longer a house target. She says she thinks it’s about to get messy.
3:09 PM BBT – Whitney has started her serious campaigning. Derek F tells her that he would love for her to stay. He says he feels like he has to give her his vote to stay. He says he doesn’t know what the house wants so he’s going to go with what he wants to do, which is for her to stay.
3:12 PM BBT – Britini tells Hannah she really wants HOH and promises her she would not touch the block if she wins. Britini and Hannah agree they feel good with each other and are glad they finally started trusting each other on a game level.
3:16 PM BBT – Whitney tells Derek F she could maybe get enough votes to stay if she could also get Azah’s vote.
3:50 PM BBT – Whitney tells Britini that she is willing to take the tough shot the rest of the house isn’t willing to stay.
4:54 PM BBT – Claire tells Hannah she’s not set on any one person going next week. Hannah says what Claire wants and what she wants might be different. Claire says she’s not set on anyone, but thinks one of Sarah Beth, Christian, Alyssa or Xavier needs to go. Hannah says if they can’t take a shot at the Kings then the Jokers are their only option.
5:00 PM BBT – Hannah says she would give the HOH to Tiffany, but she’s still going to try to win it. Claire said she wants to see a woman win HOH finally.
5:11 PM BBT – Xavier tells Hannah that Sarah Beth has been very consistent with saying Hannah’s name. He says SB thinks she is a threat and that she is probably throwing competitions. He says SB feels if no one is saying Hannah’s name then she is the most dangerous player.
5:15 PM BBT – Hannah tells Xavier that she wants the Cookout to get to Final 6 and if Sarah Beth isn’t likely to put two Cookout members up then maybe SB might not make the most sense for her to target. Xavier says SB could put up Hannah and Tiffany. He says Britini could also put him and Kyland up together.
5:21 PM BBT – Hannah says if Sarah Beth goes next then Claire would need to go after because they’ll need Derek X to help them take out Christian.
5:32 PM BBT – Sarah Beth tells Hannah that Christian told her Hannah was the pawn, so as far as she knows nothing fishy is going on this week and she should be safe. Hannah tells Sarah Beth they’re similar and she’s happy they’re getting to know each other better. Sarah Beth agrees (both really seem to be faking this conversation).
5:40 PM BBT – Alyssa tells Hannah that Sarah Beth says she’s coming around when it comes to Hannah and says she’s leaning more toward targeting jokers next week.
5:43 PM BBT – Sarah Beth tells Whitney that she has to respect Christian’s wishes this week. She says whatever he wants her to do with her vote she’ll do.
5:45 PM BBT – Hannah tells Alyssa that if she wins HOH her or Christian will not see the block. Alyssa says if she wins neither with Hannah.
6:02 PM BBT – Xavier tells Whitney he too will vote however Christian wants him to. Whitney says that’s why she needs to talk to Christian even though she doesn’t see his mind changing.
7:14 PM BBT – Whitney gets to work on Christian. She tells him that she has want to work with them all season. She says she spends most of her time with Xavier and he is his teammate. Whitney says she knows she isn’t crazy close with he and Alyssa, but what they do gave feels natural and their mindset is very similar.
7:16 PM BBT – Whitney says she has no one and points out that her own teammate, Derek X, was no where to be seen when she was put on the block and they haven’t talked all week.
7:20 PM BBT – Whitney tells Christian that the main person she thinks could be able to take a shot at him is DX. She suggests Hannah going would weaken DX. Christian says he agrees with her about DX but right now he sees him as a shield.
7:27 PM BBT – Christian asks Whitney what she would do next week if she stays. She says she would love to put up Kyland. She says but she would discuss her plans with them if they were to save her this week.
7:30 PM BBT – Christian asks Whitney if she promises he wouldn’t be her target next week. She promises him and says she wouldn’t touch one of the Kings. She says the Kings are her favorite people.
7:34 PM BBT – Whitney tells Christian that his team said they would vote how he wants.
7:38 PM BBT – Christian tells Whitney that her arguments are better than Hannah’s. Christian says he needs to have a talk with his team now.
8:08 PM BBT – Azah tells Derek X she’s afraid to take a shot at Christian. DX says he is too because if you take that shot and it’s not successful, you are screwed.
8:23 PM BBT – Azah mentions to Derek X he might not want Christian to go because then he’d be looked at as the strongest competitor. DX says exactly.
8:38 PM BBT – HGs are cleaning the house. Game talk has stalled.
9:15 PM BBT – Alyssa talks with Xavier that Hannah is targeting her. She thinks Christian and DX will follow Hannah’s lead.
9:45 PM BBT – Claire, Tiffany, and DX discuss whether Kyland or Xavier is the bigger target. Tiffany suggests she might put up two Jokers with the plan that there’d be a renom. Tiffany encouraging DX to take the shot at Christian and she’d support him.
10:00 PM BBT – DX tells Claire and Tiffany that he’s put up Sarah and a Joker then renom Christian. Tiffany suggests maybe taking out Alyssa and then manipulating Christian to do what they want.
10:05 PM BBT – Kings are gathering for a meeting. Christian says he let Whitney think she had changed his mind, but he tells the group there’s no change. Christian says Whitney claimed the Jokers would have voted to keep her but they don’t have the votes so they’re going to vote with the house.
10:15 PM BBT – Sarah is trying again to push Hannah. She says Hannah would be a good Juror but then that means her sticking around could lead to one of them leaving instead.
11:05 PM BBT – Sarah and Claire discuss their Jackpot alliance and feel they’re in good shape. Sarah thinks Christian really does want their Kings team to make it to F4.
11:15 PM BBT – Claire camtalks that she doesn’t really want to win HOH this week, but if she has to she will. She compares nom duos and says she’d keep Azah over Britini and keep Alyssa over Christian. She’s worried about letting Christian get to the end of the game.
11:35 PM BBT – Alyssa worries to Xavier whether or not she appears as the typical girl riding the guy’s coattails. Xavier says he does not think so.
12:00 AM BBT – HNs are over for the week. Tiffany’s birthday has arrived.
1:15 AM BBT – DF talks with Xavier about how Alyssa asked him (DF) if it was bad for her to be seen so close to Christian. When he gave her the honest answer she got upset at him.
1:35 AM BBT – Xavier tells Azah he doesn’t think anyone but maybe Britini is coming for him so he doesn’t really want to win HOH.
1:40 AM BBT – DF worries to Xavier that Alyssa is still upset about what he said/joked about her being connected to Christian. He thinks she may try to make him (DF) a target over it.
1:45 AM BBT – Claire tells Tiffany that the Kings would nominate Sarah. Tiffany says Alyssa promised to throw the HOH to her.
2:00 AM BBT – Kyland tells Xavier that he doesn’t want the Kings to win HOH.
2:00 AM BBT – DF talks with Azah that he wants to target Alyssa and Christian because now he thinks they’ll come for him. He wants to nom Sarah and Alyssa then renom Christian.
2:40 AM BBT – Whitney and Xavier are cuddling in bed.
2:45 AM BBT – Sarah shares with Kyland that Britini is convinced the Queens and Aces are working together because of how sure Brent was about the votes. Sarah expects Britini to target DX and Hannah. Sarah considers telling Hannah that Britini is coming for her.
2:55 AM BBT – Sarah worries to Kyland that Hannah is coming for her. Kyland says he can influence Hannah to work with Sarah if Sarah offers that to Hannah.
4:10 AM BBT – Sarah is camtalking. She plans to throw the next HOH because her target is Hannah but she’d have to nom Britini with her and then Britini would go over Hannah. If she puts anyone else up against Hannah then that person would just get mad at her. She doesn’t see a path to getting Hannah evicted. Instead, she says she’ll need to make amends with Hannah for now.
4:25 AM BBT – Sarah admits this is the downside to playing a floater game because she can’t make enemies with noms and can’t get her target out. She reaffirms her best move is to throw the HOH comp.
4:45 AM BBT – Sarah continues camtalking. She’s frustrated that she can’t influence her allies to take out her target. Last week she wanted to keep Brent and this week she wanted Hannah out over Whitney, but can’t get it to happen week after week. She feels embarrassed by the lack of control/influence. She says that’s reinforced her need to work on relationships and adapt the way she thought she could play this game.
5:00 AM BBT – Lights out finally.
We’ve got a big HOH comp coming up on Thursday night with the first endurance comp of the season and we’ll be watching it on the Feeds. Plenty of uncertainty as HGs try to figure out the next target and not everyone is sure they want the responsibility of setting those noms and the target.
