Monday’s are Veto Meeting day inside the Big Brother 23 house and after the back and forth Sunday night on the live feeds, everyone inside the house was happy when the ceremony was over. The final noms are in place and now it’s time for the real work to begin. Read on to find out what went on inside the Big Brother house on Monday and what happened at the Veto Meeting for week one of Big Brother!

Big Brother 23 Live Feed Highlights – Monday, July 12, 2021:
8:57 AM BBT – Derek X tells Kyland that he is still planning to use the POV on him. Derek X then tells Kyland that Travis is working on convincing Frenchie to renom a woman instead and he thinks that Sarah Beth might be an option.
9:05 AM BBT – Derek X is telling Kyland that Brent thinks he (K) has lied to him about things. Derek X adds that Brent has been bashing him (DX) for the last few days too.
9:15 AM BBT – HGs are waking up.
9:18 AM BBT – Christian, Xavier, Sarah Beth, and Alyssa are talking in the HN room about Travis trying to convince Frenchie to renom Sarah Beth or Claire instead of him (T), but Frenchie said no. Christian adds that he told Frenchie he can’t change the plan again because it’s ruining his (F) game.
9:25 AM BBT – Derek X tells Kyland that he (DX) should do some damage control with Alyssa’s team. He also says that he should tell Frenchie that he is open to the POV being used on Alyssa.
9:30 AM BBT – Xavier doesn’t understand why Frenchie is keeping Travis in the loop on everything. Christian tells Xavier and Sarah Beth that Frenchie has been telling Travis that he has the votes to stay.
9:33 AM BBT – Derek X tells Alyssa that he thinks she is in a good spot. Alyssa asks Derek X if she is staying on the block and Derek X tells her that as of now, that’s the plan.
9:43 AM BBT – Xavier is talking with Sarah Beth, Derek F, and Alyssa about how Frenchie keeps having conversations about the renom plan in front of Travis. Which is giving him (T) information to scheme with.
10:00 AM BBT – Alyssa tells Derek F and Britini that after the POV Meeting happens she is going to have one-on-ones with everyone. She doesn’t want to do them now because she doesn’t want people to think she is overthinking things.
10:30 AM BBT – Azah and Derek F agree that if Kyland stays this week, they have to talk to him because he could blow up their games.
10:38 AM BBT – Alyssa tells Azah and Derek F that Derek X told her he was definitely using the POV on Kyland. She then counts the votes she thinks she would have against Travis and says she thinks she has it.
10:41 AM BBT – Alyssa tells Derek F and Azah how Kyland is really paranoid so even if noms stay the same, she thinks she would be okay. She tells them about how Kyland asked her if she would feel safer if the POV was used on her and they are all having a good laugh about how stupid the question was.
10:55 AM BBT – Derek F tells Kyland that he wanted to slap him last night when he made the “you also garaunteed me I wouldn’t be on the block” comment to Frenchie. Azah and Hannah tell Kyland just to walk away next time.
11:00 AM BBT – Kyland tells Derek X that he has been learning things in the house and it’s dangerous if Kyland is on the block next to Travis instead of Alyssa.
11:39 AM BBT – Tiffany, Sarah Beth, and Claire came up with the name The Jackpot for their alliance.
11:40 AM BBT – Talks turn to who they want gone before jury and Sarah Beth says that Derek X and Travis are high on her list because they both have mentioned her name this week. Tiffany says that worse case, if they need a pawn, Alyssa makes a good pawn.
11:50 AM BBT – Frenchie, Travis, and Brent are in the kitchen having an emotional conversation. Frenchie talks about how it took him a long time to deal with the emotions of losing his son. He said that he had a butterfly land on his hand and lost it. Brent says that he had a similar experience at football practice after his father took his life.
12:02 PM BBT – Feeds cut to an extended “Be Right Back.”
1:37 PM BBT – Feeds are back. Alyssa is counting votes with Christian.
1:50 PM BBT – Got confirmation that Derek X used the veto to take Kyland off the block and Travis was put up in his place.
2:03 PM BBT – Alyssa tells Xavier and Azah that Derek X told her that he would vote to keep her this week and adds that she is worried that Travis will use him being a bigger threat as a reason to keep him.
2:08 PM BBT – Alyssa is talking with Whitney and Frenchie and she asks if she missed something last night because everyone was up late. They filled her in on Kyland’s comment to Frenchie.
2:10 PM BBT – Azah tells Xavier that if she wins HOH, she is putting Brent and Derek X on the block.
2:30 PM BBT – The HGs are all excited that they are going to have a toga party for Kyland’s birthday tomorrow.
3:00 PM BBT – Derek F and Xavier are talking in the skylounge about how if there is a Battle Back this week, Travis could potentially end up back in the house. They also talk about how winning the HOH next week isn’t high on their prioity list. Meanwhile, Azah and Britini are downstairs talking about the Wildcard Comp next week and which one of them will compete. Britini says that it depends on who wins HOH next week.
Alyssa is feeling pretty good now that she is on the block next to Travis and not Kyland. However, she is still pretty nervous about what kind of strategy Travis might use when he is campaigning. Everyone seems to be on board with voting Travis out this week as of right now, but we all know that anything can happen between now and the live eviction show on Thursday.
