It was a huge night for Big Brother 22 All-Stars with both the season premiere and the arrival of Live Feeds in a first for the CBS installment (BBOTT did it by default). We’ve met the sixteen returning Houseguests and now we’ll see what it’s like with an immediate start to the Feeds in the new season. Big Brother 22 Live Feed Highlights – Wednesday, August 5, 2020:
11:03 PM BBT – Feeds launch!
11:04 PM BBT – HGs hanging out in groups and chatting about how surreal it is to be back in the house. Ian and Da’Vonne expect it’ll take a few days to adjust.
11:07 PM BBT – HGs discuss not getting any champagne for the move-in toast. Cody says he told production no alcohol in his HOH basket and mentions getting blackout drunk on BB16 so he didn’t want to do that again.
11:10 PM BBT – Cody and Kaysar compare how much time they had in the yard versus being stuck in the house. Cody says they spent more time in than out while Kaysar said it was the opposite for them.
11:15 PM BBT – Tyler was surprised to learn the cast wasn’t decided until today and hadn’t been announced in advance.
11:30 PM BBT – HGs discuss how production required them to do bias training and sexual harassment training to get ready for the season. Enzo declares he isn’t saying anything bad this year.
11:35 PM BBT – Cody asks Tyler if he’s ready to “run through the house.” Kaysar walks in.
11:40 PM BBT – Kaysar and Cody want to go to bed. They’re tired and aren’t sure about staying up late. They agree this is an older, more chill group.
11:50 PM BBT – Kaysar talks with Nicole A about her season and how much he felt for her when she was accused of lying. He mentions having been too trusting in his season.
12:05 AM BBT – Ian says he quit his job to come back but it’s okay because he’ll find something new.
12:10 AM BBT – Franzel says she went back and watched her first season to see where her game went wrong and whether she betrayed allies or if they betrayed her first. She realized she spoke when she shouldn’t have.
12:15 AM BBT – Franzel mentions ignoring a DM from Nicole A. because she never thought production would have two Nicoles on this season.
12:40 AM BBT – Christmas has been retelling her foot injury. She shows her scars and mentions she still has numbness there.
12:40 AM BBT – HOH room reveal! Cody brings everyone along.
12:55 AM BBT – HGs discover there is only bar soap, no liquid soap in the shower.
1:20 AM BBT – Ian and Janelle discuss BB14. Ian says no one got over their season and became friends. Janelle says BB7 was all friends but BB14 was definitely not like that.
1:50 AM BBT – Janelle, Memphis, and Kevin chatting about life outside the house. Kevin doesn’t remember Cody’s gameplay. Janelle reminds him that Cody won a lot and supported Derrick.
2:00 AM BBT – Janelle says she wouldn’t have been able to come on BB if it had been June. She had 12 closings that month (!!) and couldn’t have made it.
2:20 AM BBT – Kevin says production reached out to him three months ago. Memphis says he was less than three weeks ago.
2:25 AM BBT – Janelle and Memphis discussing maybe trying to connect with Cody tomorrow.
2:45 AM BBT – Enzo and Da’Vonne discuss their game achievements. Enzo says he had to learn as he went and made F2. Da’Vonne mentions how Paul would have won if he had better Jury management. She reminds them how Paul called Michelle the c-word and lost votes.
2:50 AM BBT – Ian talks with Franzel about teaming up since they’re both past winners. She wants to bring in Memphis. Ian suggests Nicole A. but Franzel says she’s worried about her.
3:15 AM BBT – Tyler and Cody are alone in the HOH room and laugh about almost getting caught plotting an alliance earlier in the storage room when Kaysar walked in (~11:35 PM BBT). Tyler says he covered by saying they were going to “run through” the fridge food, not the game. Cody and Tyler talk like they could be planning to work together. They sound glad to have each other in the game.
3:30 AM BBT – HGs mention the finale date might be October 21st, but they aren’t certain.
4:00 AM BBT – Lights out. HGs off to sleep.
And the first night of BB22 is officially closed and done. While it wasn’t a wild night first night it was still a BB-first for us to see the initial workings of who would be connecting and what happens next. We’ll have more highlights and updates later today and again for overnight each weekday (just one a day on the weekends) so stick with us for more!
