It was a busy and emotional day in the Big Brother 22 house as the houseguests played the new BB Basement competition, unleashing three powers in the house. And then Christmas made her nominations later in the day, completely blindsiding them. Read on to find out their reactions and who won some of those powers.

Big Brother 22 Live Feed Highlights – Friday, September 4, 2020:
7:15 AM BBT – HGs are waking up.
9:02 AM BBT – Christmas tells Kevin that she loves everyone in the house, but they are playing a game. Kevin tells her that he is glad that they made an agreement before her HOH. He tells her just to let him know how he can support her.
9:06 AM BBT – Feeds cut to kitty cams.
1:27 PM BBT – Feeds are back. BB Basement Twist comp was played.
1:28 PM BBT – Bay is telling Day that she is trying to keep it together in the house. Bay tells her that no matter how small of an emotional response she has to anything, people seem afraid of her.
1:33 PM BBT – Cody mentions that they are doing timed DRs (to make them all even just so that there is no indication that they won a power). Memphis, Cody, and Christmas mention that Kevin must have won one, because he is acting so weird.
1:39 PM BBT – Enzo asks Nicole if Dani is okay and she tells him that she is mad at him. Enzo leaves the room and Nicole tells Ian that Bayleigh went to Dani and told her that three people confirmed that Dani was coming after her.
1:40 PM BBT – Memphis asks Christmas to talk to Dani, but Christmas said she isn’t talking to her until she calms down.
1:41 PM BBT – Enzo tells Dani that Bay went to him and told him that she heard Dani was coming for her. Not the other way around. Dani tells him that Bay told her she heard it from three people, but won’t tell her who they are.
1:48 PM BBT – Tyler tells Cody that he hopes that Christmas isn’t feeling bad for Bay now. They agree that they want Bay gone this week. Tyler tells Cody that Ian almost went home last night because Bay was confronting him about making things up.
1:50 PM BBT – Kevin tells Christmas that he is worried that there are people whose game hinges on making others feel important, but only really needing them as a shield. He feels like that’s what’s going on in the house.
1:59 PM BBT – Feeds cut to kitty cams again.
2:25 PM BBT – Feeds are back and nothing seemed to have happened.
2:30 PM BBT – Day is talking to Christmas about the tension in the house. She adds that there is someone in the house planting seeds with her and Bay about Nicole and Dani and vice versa.
2:32 PM BBT – Day tells her that this all started last week. Christmas thought that this stemmed from Kaysar’s eviction speech. Christmas wonders if Kaysar could have been the source of the information. Day tells her that he might have been, but Bay won’t even tell her where the information came from.
2:35 PM BBT – Day points out that she didn’t pick her in the HOH until she had to. She says that was because she felt most comfortable with Christmas, Bay, or herself winning it.
2:37 PM BBT – Dani is in the photo room crying surrounded by Tyler, Kevin, and Cody.
2:48 PM BBT – Christmas and Day are talking about the comp and how Christmas lost her shoes and Nicole lost her pants.
2:54 PM BBT- Feeds cut to kitty cams again.
3:15 PM BBT – Feeds have returned. Dani lets Nicole that she won one of the powers but says it’s so crappy she cried in the DR over it. Dani tells Nicole the power will let a Head of Household play in the next week’s HOH comp and is good for the next three weeks. Dani thinks it’s a pointless power since she can’t win any other competitions.
3:28 PM BBT – Christmas lets Tyler know that she has a power. This power is called the Blocker and it will let her block a replacement nomination at a veto ceremony. She says it’s only good for two weeks after this one because this week it’s useless to her as HOH. She does say the one thing about it is if she were to win the veto next week and save herself, she could use that Blocker power to save the replacement nominee even though it wouldn’t be her.
3:33 PM BBT – Da’Vonne, Dani, and Nicole have been talking, trying to clear things up. Da’Vonne tells Nicole and Dani that they need to see if Christmas can backdoor Tyler this week. Dani and Nicole tell Da’Vonne they are back on the same page.
3:32 PM BBT – Christmas tells Tyler she wants to make sure Bayleigh is the target so that means she has to put Da’Vonne up next to her even though she would rather not do that. Christmas tells Tyler she really respects Da’Vonne and her game, but Bayleigh said Da’Vonne was her “untouchable” so she would have to put them both up.
3:45 PM BBT – Nicole tells Christmas that Dani and Da’Vonne talked about who the source was pitting them against each other and they want her to backdoor them this week. Christmas asks who, but Nicole says she was sworn to secrecy, but then immediately tells Christmas it was Tyler. Nicole says they want Christmas to backdoor Tyler.
4:05 PM BBT – Now it’s Dani’s turn to talk to Christmas. She tells Christmas that she thinks Tyler is starting a lot of trouble in the house and trying to pit all the women against each other.
4:25 PM BBT – Da’Vonne tells Kevin she thinks it’s possible they can get Tyler backdoored this week.
4:34 PM BBT – Kevin tells Da’Vonne that his spirit is telling him that Christmas will nominate her and Bayleigh.
4:37 PM BBT – Dani tells Nicole she believes Da’Vonne and they agree they can work with Da’Vonne moving forward. They say they can pretend to still have tension between them with their alliance so they don’t know they trust Da’Vonne now.
4:50 PM BBT – Dani and Nicole want Tyler out but know Christmas won’t make that move this week. They think next week will be a double eviction and they can try to take a shot at Tyler then. Dani says after Bayleigh goes they can work with Da’Vonne.
5:03 PM BBT – Dani tells Nicole she’s worried about Cody still. She says Cody tells her all the time that he spent hours on the phone with Derrick being coached to play this season. She says he’s trying to play a Derrick game. Nicole says Cody is not playing a Derrick game.
5:25 PM BBT – Feeds cut for the nomination ceremony.
6:32 PM BBT – Feeds have returned. Christmas nominated Bayleigh and Da’Vonne. Christmas is in the HOH room crying. She’s upset about putting them up. Neither nominee is crying, but the HOH is. Bayleigh goes into the HOH room and tells Christmas she’s not mad at her and give her some hugs. Christmas tells Bayleigh she and Da’Vonne can put her at the top of their Hitlist. Bayleigh says she was never coming after Christmas and never felt threatened by her.
6:40 PM BBT – Bayleigh tells Christmas she didn’t expect to be targeted by someone she’s working with. Christmas says well, they’ve talked a lot, but they didn’t really have an established alliance or anything.
6:45 PM BBT – Da’Vonne goes to the HOH room after Bayleigh leaves. Christmas tells Da’Vonne it just makes sense to go after duos and since Bayleigh told her Da’Vonne was her “untouchable” it just made sense. Christmas says she wishes Da’Vonne had won the HOH because this one sucks too much.
6:52 PM BBT – Da’Vonne tells Christmas the women are dwindling in the game and now Christmas has put two more women up. Christmas says she knows and she hates it.
6:58 PM BBT – Nicole and Cody talk about what a great team they are and how no one would’ve suspected them had the person not yelled into the back yard. Nicole tells Cody she would gladly take second place to him. Cody says there’s no way he would beat her. Nicole says she would gladly give him the win and swears to God.
7:05 PM BBT – Enzo tells Bayleigh this has been hard for Christmas and she’s been crying. Bayleigh says she doesn’t give a f__ about that right now. He says Christmas is crying because she’s guilty. Bayleigh says Christmas choose her side and it’s cool.
7:06 PM BBT – Cody tells Memphis that Ian is responsible for all the recent drama and that he needs to go.
7:23 PM BBT – Bayleigh tells Da’Vonne that if she wins veto she can save Da’Vonne and go home. Da’Vonne says no, that’s not how this works.
7:27 PM BBT – Da’Vonne looks at the camera and says “Kaysar, you were right.”
7:38 PM BBT – Dani and Nicole think Kevin has a power because he’s acting strange and starting to get “aggressive.”
8:37 PM BBT – Bayleigh and Da’Vonne are trying to smooth things over after their couple days of drama. They discuss how Tyler is trying to pit them all against each other. Dani doesn’t know if he wants Bayleigh and Da’Vonne to get her out or vice versa.
8:38 PM BBT – Dani tells Bayleigh she takes ownership of everything she’d one and she apologizes. Bayleigh says they have similar personalities so it’s good they can talk this through.
8:40 PM BBT – Dani tells Bayleigh that Tyler was talking about how angry Bayleigh got in BB20 and how she would back out from anger and made her mouth bleed. Bayleigh says she’s not a mean person and that she’s not going to blow up because that’s why Tyler wants.
8:42 PM BBT – Bayleigh lets Dani know that Ian and Kaysar were the other two people who told her Dani was coming after Da’Vonne and her. Bayleigh tells Dani that Cody has been loyal to Dani.
8:55 PM BBT – Dani is upset and crying because of the part she played in getting Bayleigh targeted. She said she feels bad because Bayleigh is blaming Tyler for everything and she felt betrayed because she defended Tyler even after their troubles on BB20. Dani says she feels like trash and she can’t do this anymore. She says this game is awful.
9:00 PM BBT – Cody asks Dani why she’s avoiding him. She says she’s just having a horrible day and she hates the personal aspects of the game. She says it’s not fun and she’s tired of sucking at everything.
9:01 PM BBT – Dani asks Cody if he won a power. He says he promises he didn’t win. Dani tells him she didn’t win one either.
10:30 PM BBT – Day asks Kevin why he went to console Christmas after the ceremony but wasn’t consoling her (D). Kevin says he was overwhelmed and didn’t want to be overwhelmed around Day since she was just nominated. Kevin explains he’s frustrated with Bay. He tells Day that Bay accused him of knowing she was going up.
11:00 PM BBT – Kevin encourages Bay to go and be friendly to Christmas as it’s what she has to do to move ahead. Bay says she doesn’t have to do that.
12:20 AM BBT – Christmas is with Nicole and Dani as she is feeling upset over her nominations. After Nicole leaves Christmas tells Dani that Nicole made their alliance too obvious by celebrating her win over Day.
12:40 AM BBT – Dani talks to Kevin about the stress of the game. She feels she gets along with everyone in regular life but this gameplay is too personal.
12:55 AM BBT – Dani complains that Kaysar wanted a hug on his way out. Nicole didn’t want to give him one either. Kevin says he was being classy. Dani says he was disrespectful and tasteless.
1:15 AM BBT – Dani doesn’t want to go to Jury and have to sit there for six weeks watching Netflix.
1:20 AM BBT – Cody is still up (has a headache and can’t sleep). He vents to Dani about being the scapegoat. He’s frustrated and says he’s done too.
1:30 AM BBT – Ian is up and joins them briefly. Ian is trying to encourage Dani but she isn’t having a good day.
2:00 AM BBT – Enzo is up now and joins them. Cody asks Enzo what “forlorn” means as Ian called him that earlier. Neither knows.
2:30 AM BBT – Dani and Cody are alone. She tells him she believes she saw Enzo had a power and is excited that their side has two of the three powers. Dani still feels her power is “trash.”
3:00 AM BBT – HGs head off to sleep.
Busy day and some really good drama though it comes at the cost of plenty of stress for the HGs. Noms are in for Christmas and it seems everyone is stressed by it though of course those most troubled are Day and Bay. Now with these “game-changing” powers, that might not be so powerful when the controlling side of the house gets all of them, we’ll have to see what happens next. Veto comp is coming up Saturday and we’ll be watching for those spoilers next.
