We are down to the Big Brother 22 Final 5, and I could say it’s anyone’s game, but it’s really not. It’s Cody’s game. Let’s face it. It has been all season. I don’t understand why, but it is.
But what if it’s not Cody? Who else can win? Let’s take a look at everyone’s chances.
Cody. I’ll just start with him, since this is clearly his to lose. He was the first HOH of the season and from that point on, he was basically everyone’s leader. I still don’t get why, and I know I keep saying that, but it just really baffles me. At this point I think Cody has the best shot to win. I don’t even think it really matters who he is sitting next to. The only thing Cody has going against him is the OTEV curse (if you want to believe in that). And by that I mean, no one who has won OTEV has ever won the game.
Enzo. I think it’s impressive that Enzo was never anyone’s target because of his great social game, but this week’s jury segment suggests the jury isn’t really respecting his endgame. The fact that he wanted Nicole out for so long and then voted for her to stay could come back to bite him. I think Enzo could possibly still win sitting next to Memphis or Christmas, but not Cody and maybe not Nicole. I’d love to say he would win next to Nicole, but just quickly counting the votes I could see her getting Cody’s, Ian’s and Dani’s. So it might not be as easy as it should be.
Memphis. It recently hit me just how well Memphis has played. And he kept so much of his game to himself that it really should have made his alliance more upset than it did. And just when he was looking like a major threat he “hurt his back” and played that up for weeks. Then suddenly he’s back in beast mode and wins his way to the final 5 basically. I think Memphis has a great resume, but I don’t think the jury would really reward it. I think he could win only next to Christmas and maybe Nicole.
Nicole. This is where I get the most confused. I would like to think that she loses next to everyone, but the way Big Brother 22 has played out, I wouldn’t be shocked at her getting enough votes to win. I know she loses next to Cody, but does she really lose next to anyone else? I just don’t know. She should. She played a really snakey game and barely did anything for most of the season, which is her M.O. (minus the showmance this time). I never thought she would have been given the win the first time, so I just can’t count her out this time.
Christmas. I think Christmas is the one person in the Final 5 that loses regardless. She has a terrible resume and a terrible social game. The one HOH competition she won she didn’t have to do anything but stand there and let someone else answer wrong. She won a few vetoes, but let’s face it the competitions this season are barely a step above of the simple ones from BB2-BB5. But the biggest thing here is her social game. She’s had a lot of arguments with people and literally everyone in the house and jury house have been so annoyed by her. I’d be shocked if she would get one vote. And furthermore, she’s probably getting evicted this week, so there’s that.
