Big Brother 22 Episode 26 Recap: Tyler And Christmas Pay For Their Crimes

If there’s one thing we’ve learned about Big Brother 22, it’s don’t go against Cody (or Nicole because she’s Cody’s sidekick this season). I’m not sure why that is, but that seems to be how it’s gone all season. No one wanted to make any moves that would upset Cody, and when you do make a move against Cody, or in this case Nicole, you will pay for your crimes.

I guess once a Hit Man, always a Hit Man. Shoutout to Derrick, who was much better at this than Cody. But I’m starting to ramble because this episode was pretty boring.

The episode picked up right after the triple eviction, but they think we needed to see what went on during the commercial breaks last Thursday night. We see Tyler and Christmas discussing what to do with the David and Nicole vote. They decide it’s time to strike, just like we already saw last week.

What we didn’t see, though, was how the Enzo discussion went. It looked to me that Enzo wasn’t on board and Tyler and Christmas knew that, but still voted out Nicole. And of course, as we already know, Enzo didn’t come through so he left Tyler and Christmas hanging.

Enzo then let Nicole know that it was Tyler and Christmas who voted her out and they were trying to get him do join them.  And Nicole is soooooo freaking peed off.

We some more back and forth from the triple and right after, but I think it’s time we move on from that. Let’s get to the HOH competition. For this completion, the houseguests have to undress while holding down some buttons. We first saw this competition during the Road Kill competition during Big Brother 18. The players are in dressed in absurd yoga outfits and have to strip down to almost nothing while holding their buttons. If they let go of their buttons, their time speeds up. The person with the worst time each round is eliminated until there’s a winner.

Christmas is the first player eliminated. In Round 2, it’s Nicole who is out. Enzo is out third, leaving it between Cody and Memphis. Both of them have done very well in the competition, but it’s Cody who comes out on top this round with a score of 3:06 to 5:41. Cody is the new Head of Household and Christmas and Tyler are sweating.

Christmas and Tyler both take turns talking to Cody, and blame each other for who was flipping the vote on Nicole. Cody knows they’re both full of it and willing to throw each other under the bus. So it really makes Cody’s nominations easy. But who the target is might be harder to decide.

So needless to say, at the nomination ceremony, Cody names Tyler and Christmas as his nominees. The lesson here: Don’t go against Nicole because that’s going against Cody.
