Big Brother 21 Spoilers: Week 8 Roundup

It’s Veto Ceremony Day in the Big Brother 21 house, so that means the only thing left for the HGs to do after today is some campaigning and the next eviction. So let’s take a look at everything that has gone down during Week 8, including some spoilers.

Head of Household

As we saw during Sunday night’s episode, Jackson ran away with the slip and slide competition to become the new Head of Household. Jackson winning means we have yet to have a repeat HOH this season.

Nominations

Jackson was dead-set on nominating Christie this week with her as the target. So it was no surprise that he put her on the block. The better idea clearly would have been to nominate her next to Tommy, but Jackson went with Analyse instead. Christie and Analyse are both being terrible sports about being nominated and have been pitching the most absurd things to Jackson for one of them to come off the block.

Power of Veto

On Saturday, the houseguests played in the veto competition. Jackson, Christie and Analyse were joined by Holly, Nick and Cliff. Jackson came out on top again, making this the third week in a row that the Head of Household also won the Power of Veto. It was a puzzle/balance competition.

Veto Ceremony

A little later today at the veto ceremony, Jackson plans to not use the Power of Veto. Christie and Analyse have pitched Nick, Jessica and Nicole to go up on the block, but Jackson isn’t backing down. He wants Christie out of the house this week, and unless Big Brother has some kind of unannounced twist looming, that’s what will happen.

So it does look like Christie will be evicted this week, but as we know, a lot can happen in a few days. Analyse has basically given up on the game, so it’s very possible she could get herself evicted. But I think there are a few too many people who realize getting a threat like Christie out of the game is too good to pass up.
