Marcellas not using the Veto on himself while on the block Season 3, Lawon volunteering to be evicted looking for a superpower Season 13, Kayser giving up in the HoH when he just returned to the game Season 6, these are 3 of the worst moves in Big Brother History… well make room on the couch guys, you just got a new member to your club.

Yes, the Big Brother game that us fans see outside the house is way different than the game the players see while in the house. We have the luxury of hours of footage & diary room confessions to put all of the pieces together – while the houseguests only know what they see with their own eyes & hear with their own ears. They have to make snap decisions based on the facts as they know them. Big Brother is a Reality show, but the players are playing a Perception game. So while many, if not all, of us, were SCREAMING at Cliff for his game-changing move – I can see why he did what he did.

So let’s just continue from there and get into the Big Brother 21 player rankings by starting with the Tofurkey of the Week. Of course, to all of you that read this column weekly, you know Cliff Hogg was getting this award sometime late Sunday into Monday. If you are a CBS only viewer, you did not get the full story on how this all went down, but Cliff went from laughingstock to legend by winning both the Camp Comeback & HoH in the same day, then followed it up by making the biggest move of the season so far by nominating the Jacks. He went back to laughingstock by completely caving into the group that just evicted him days before and did not seize the opportunity to double-cross them.

Ok – as I said in the opening, Cliff saw the opportunity for a couple of weeks of safety and having a new ally in Christie and his perception was this was better for his game. And who knows – maybe it will be. But for now – he went back to wearing the scarlet letter L (for laughingstock) on his forehead.

Keeping the rankings going in reverse order

Sam Smith – 4 strips of Tofu – calling a House Meeting to try and clear your name most likely makes you look even more guilty than you may be. In Sam’s defense – he really did not want people to think he was in on the plan to get Cliff to break his word to Christie – but honestly – what did he think was going to happen after the meeting? For the Six Shooters to anoint him as KING SAM – and make him untouchable the rest of the game? Sorry – that title already seems to be for Jack – but… whatever.

Nick Maccarone – 3 strips of Tofu – bravo to Nick for trying to open Cliff’s eyes and ears to not follow through with the Six Shooters plan of re-nom’ing Bella – but his “woe is me” rants probably prevented him from being able to regain any sort of trust with his old alliance members. The whole time, Nick was not the threat that Bella was to the big alliance and they actually considered bringing him back into the fold after she is gone. He’s got an uphill battle in front of him – and dare I say – becomes the underdog that some people who hated him weeks ago will be rooting for moving forward. Let’s face it – if he wins HoH this week – he will not pull a Cliff!

Jessica Milagros – 2 strips of Tofu – Jessica won the “BB’s Next Top Look” title (the fake show they did yesterday on the feeds out of sheer boredom – it was similar to America’s Next Top Model) – but that’s almost all she did this week. Her relationship with Kat grew – and even formed a new alliance with the 2 of them, Cliff, & Nicole (Cliff’s Angels). But she is still just a sheep wandering in the field of foxes and they will pounce on her when the time is right.

Nicole Anthony – 1 strip of Bacon & 1 strip of Tofu – Nicole’s game is either in danger, or she is completely off the radar. Nicole knows that Bella in the house is better for her game, and has been quietly campaigning to keep her while not making it look like she was. However – going to bat for the person that just made the week before hell for you seems kind of odd. Some of the Six Shooters that saved her last week once again see her as a threat – but as they are salivating to go after others – Nicole should be safe until Jury – but for those of us rooting for her – we know a lot needs to happen for her to take control of her own destiny.

Analyse Talvera & Holly Allen – 1 strip of Bacon to share – they are both still in the house – I swear. Analyse played in the Veto – so she did get a rare diary room session. Holly did “insult” Jackson by commenting on him gaining weight in the house & did not want to do the sex while on the live feeds – which led to him “breaking up” with her – but then they made up and are canoodling again. Both girls are just a number in the big alliance and that actually does bode well for them as they are protected & not seen as the bigger threats – so keep doing what you are doing ladies.

Tommy Bracco – 2 strips of Bacon – similar to Analyse & Holly – he is just been a number to the Six Shooters and not a target. He keeps collecting intel and providing some comedy here and there – which is why he gets an extra strip of bacon. I just wish we got a DR session from him this week claiming his crying after the Jacks went on the block was all strategy – but maybe he really was that upset?

Jackson Michie – 3 strips of Bacon & a pack of Tucks Medicated Pads – 99.9% of the time when a player wins a Veto when they are on the block – I give them bacon. Sometimes if they are the main target and know it – they get 5 strips of Bacon. Jackson did volunteer to go up – but we are not sure if that factored into Cliff putting him up. He wanted to go up so he could win the veto & get Christie to give him her power so he could be the one to make the big move. Well, he did win the veto – but did not need the power – as we will read soon. Although – two of the highlights of the week were Jackson getting upset that there was so much food that he had requested brought in this week – and he could not eat them because he is a Have- Not… and then him having bouts with bloody stools. OK OK – that is not really something to laugh at – and if it happened to anyone else (well, Christie had a little too) – then it may be sad – but I see this as karma literally biting him in the ass!!!

Bella Wang – 3 strips of Bacon – while Bella did not really do anything more to sink her game worse this week – the damage has already been done and she is a no-brainer to be evicted tonight. I do have to give her credit for doing a great job of stirring the pot a little more this week on her way out. She is getting people to start looking at their own alliance members (aka her old alliance members) as threats more than helpers. Heck even Jackson told Jack that Bella made some good points on why they should keep her.

Kat Dunn – 4 strips of Bacon – Kat is still in the best position in the house… ever since her position changed from horizontal with Jackson, to vertical and constantly on the move. She is the spy for the Six Shooters – but still chooses what she divulges to them. She is in the newly formed Cliff’s Angels alliance with Jess, Nicole, and duh… Cliff. She is not able to be persuaded to do what is not good for her game – and she is still the comic relief this season really needs. I still cannot believe after week 1 the transformation she has made – like a caterpillar into a butterfly… bitches! (how many of you just said that last word in a Kat tone?)

Christie Murphy – 5 strips of Bacon – with every bad move – there is usually someone that helps convince that person to make it. Christie pulled off the unthinkable by getting Cliff to allow her to keep her power AND get him to put up her target. This was a Derrick, Dan, Dick type of move. While I am in no way saying she is in that class of player – she did a great job convincing Cliff to make that move – and is walking away this week in such a good position. No one outside of the Six Shooters (besides maybe Nick) sees the threat that she is. The compares to Vanessa are continuing and while this may end up getting her out near the end of the game, one thing is for sure – she is driving this season.

Jack Matthews – nothing – I am putting him in a timeout this week.

Ok – there ya go – week 4 is done, we have our first live endurance HoH tonight (hopefully we get to see it all) – and the power will be up for grabs once again. If it is the wall comp – we may see someone like Nicole or Nick win – or we may see Tommy pull out the W. Hoping for the former – but expecting the latter.

My question of the week is – other than the 4 bad moves mentioned at the beginning of the article – what are some of the other worst moves in Big Brother history?
