During today’s show on CBS Julie will finally give us more details on what’s coming up on the Big Brother 16 premiere next Wednesday as part of its Two Night Move-In Event. Oh my!

As the show opened up Julie promised to reveal the surprising plot twist for Big Brother 16, and she was right. This is crazy news.

Not one, but TWO HGs will be Head of Household every week. Wow! So yes, there will be four total nominated HGs on the chopping block, explained Julie. But another first, just because you’re the HoH doesn’t mean you’re safe.

There’s going to be a new competition called “Battle of the Block” where the HoHs won’t be safe anymore. And on top of THAT, America will be intervening even more with “Team America” this season, an interactive twist, says Julie. Wow, this craziness!

  1. It’s been revealed! I gotta say, it’s something I wasn’t expecting that’s for sure! #TeamAmerica

  2. 2 HOH’s a week, 4 nominees, weekly competition to overthrow the HOH… and Team America is what I got

  3. I guess I’ll reserve judgment but I don’t like it when they tinker with the basic, tried and true game elements like this… the game was built around one HOH and two noms, Just feel like they shouldn’t touch the basic game mechanics too much. But, we’ll see how it plays out. Will either be great or a disaster. Haha…

  4. When I first heard this, all I could do was put my hand over my forehead which made it look like a headache. I mean, seriously, Julie, don’t mindtruck us like that!

  5. The only part of the twist I like is the 2 HoHs and 4 nominees. I am not a fan of viewers influence and I dont know how Battle of The Block will play out but it sounds bad lol. Will there still be POV? How many people are getting evicted? So many questions!!

  6. How I Hope The twist is interpreted:

•2 HOHs nominate 2 people each

•Battle of the block takes place shortly after

•Only the HOHs compete and the winner’s noms stay put

•Losing HOH loses power and the rest of the week plays out normally

The other HoH gets screwed, though, because they make it clear who their targets are, which will cause a lot of drama.

Also, maybe it isn’t the HoHs competing, but the two nominees vs two nominees. Since it is called Battle of the BLOCK

Also, this would make sense, because HoH #1 could nominate HoH #2. Then that means that #2 plays in the competition, with the other person up next to him. If they win, #2’s nominations are put up and he is safe. If the other side wins, then #1’s nominations go up, meaning HoH #2 is nominated
This makes you think way more about the nominations you are making.

  7. I’m really looking forward to this. Reveals an extra person’s targets. More people on the block could mean more chaos. This will be interesting to watch.

  8. i thing battle of the block happens before pov…losing hoh can go up if the pov is used…just a guess

  9. Let’s see how this plays out. It has potential if executed well. Although I don’t see much of the twist lasting past Week 6/7 because eventually there won’t be a lot of people left by then if we are down to, say, 6 houseguests.

  10. I just realized a major hiccup in this plan. What if each HoH wants to nominate the same person. They can’t play for both sides
