After a slow start to the Big Brother day the Season 16 Houseguest rose to a fiery Nominations Ceremony and a Battle of the Block competition that left the weaker side of the house wondering just what was going on.
The women of BB16 look ready to be picked off and eliminated if something doesn’t happen fast and to their advantage. Of course this is Big Brother so give everything a few hours and that just might happen especially with more Caleb and Amber drama ramping up overnight.

Big Brother 16 Live Feed Highlights – Friday, July 18, 2014:
7:16 AM BBT – Brittany is still up by herself. She heads in the the bathroom to take a shower.
8:18 AM BBT – Wake-up time.
8:28 AM BBT – Feeds are back. Some HGs are up getting ready for the nomination ceremony.
9:40 AM BBT – Feeds cut. Nomination ceremony time.
12:15 PM BBT – Feeds return. Nominations are still on the memory wall. Frankie nominated Amber and Jocasta and Cody nominated Brittany and Victoria.
12:21 PM BBT – Amber is upset about being the pawn. She doesn’t understand it.
12:52 PM BBT – Victoria is blaming Christine for her going on the block.
12:56 PM BBT – Cody, Frankie and Caleb talking about noms and justifying their choices. Caleb also says if he wins veto and Amber is still up, he won’t use it on her. He’s done with her.
1:02 PM BBT – Victoria is really confused about the nominations. Derrick tells her to just focus on the Battle of the Block competition.
1:48 PM BBT – Brittany says she feels to old to be with the others in the house. She feels like an outcast.
4:20 PM BBT – Feeds return from Battle of the Block. Amber and Jocasta have won the battle.
4:40 PM BBT – Zach talking with Cody and says the target remains on Brittany. They’ll use Donny as a renom if Brittany comes down with the Veto.
5:15 PM BBT – Caleb is trying to figure out if Jocasta really wanted to flip the house against him for the last eviction. Donny tells him he doesn’t believe Jocasta did that and someone may be trying to set her up.
5:30 PM BBT – Christine goes to the guys with details that Amber is trying to start a girls alliance to target the guys.
5:50 PM BBT – Caleb and Amber talking game. He says there’s one guy he’d put up (Cody). She wants to get HoH and put up two guys.
6:05 PM BBT – Brief Victoria drama as she returns from DR and says they said something about her in there. She’s crying and we get Fish. (Can’t talk about production.)
7:00 PM BBT – Brittany regretting voted out Devin over Caleb. Victoria and Brittany hold a pity party with each other. Both are tired of being there.
7:20 PM BBT – Caleb relaying to Frankie about his conversation with Amber and how she wants to go after the guys.
8:50 PM BBT – Backyard opens back up.
11:20 PM BBT – Frankie talking with Amber about her nomination. He says he won’t put her up again and only did it because Cody told him she was okay with being a nominee as a pawn.
11:35 PM BBT – Cody wants to call out Amber on targeting two guys if she gets HoH. Derrick advises him to go about that calmer.
11:50 PM BBT – Amber talking with Derrick, Cody, and Frankie. She says she’d do one alliance member and one non-ally if she were HoH. Amber doesn’t trust Zach and might use him as a nom.
12:00 AM BBT – Amber and Cody are joking around on the couch. Caleb walks in and “catches” them. It’s uncomfortable.
12:10 AM BBT – Zach antagonizes Caleb to go after Amber and call her out. He’s trying to convince Caleb that Amber needs to go next. Caleb wants Zach to do the calling-out.
1:35 AM BBT – Caleb, Derrick, and Zach agree that Amber should be their next target if she doesn’t win HoH.
1:45 AM BBT – Amber talks to Christine and Nicole about teaming up to go after the guys. Amber wants Zach out quickly.
2:05 AM BBT – Zach hints that Victoria was upset after her DR session earlier because she was called out on breaking rules, but he can’t elaborate.
2:20 AM BBT – Christine relaying to The Detonators about Amber’s F3 offer. They agree Amber needs to go.
2:30 AM BBT – Caleb and Amber talking. He’s upset at her and says it’s like she spits in his face and “steps on his balls.” Caleb is basically saying how jealous he is of her spending time with Cody while trying to say he’s not jealous. It’s just more of what you’d come to expect from this weird situation.
Everyone seems to be planning weeks out ahead of themselves instead of focusing on the present week which still has a LOT up in the air. We’ve got the Power of Veto competition today and if Donny wins it then he should be safe, but we don’t even know if he’ll play. If Brittany or Victoria wins it then Donny could be in some danger. Gotta wait and see if Detonators come around again on this idea of going after Caleb since Amber is untouchable this week after her BotB win.

Okay so Vic leaves DR crying and tells Zach what happened. Zach goes into DR and they tell him he’s not allowed to say what Vic told him. Vic tells everyone that something happened in DR and she feels bad because she doesn’t want production to lose their jobs. The cats out of the bag BB. Time to let everyone know what happened, what rule she broke and apply a penalty. Last year they tried to hide the racism and the web outted them. Guess we have to do it again!!
If she broke a rule..then she needs to get a penalty..why have these rules if they are not going to enforce them?
I don’t think she broke the kind of rule that gets a penalty nom. Apparently some of the guys (Hayden and Frankie) complained to BB that Victoria “snuggles too hard” in bed. I guess she has to have somebody sleep in bed with her each night and she tends to start stroking…not sure what she is stroking but Hayden and Frankie reported being at “full mast” and I think it was unwanted attention so they complained about it. Victoria was told its against the rules to do that if it is not wanted. She was really embarrassed and upset about it.
Frankie at “full mast” with Victoria ? LOL…I don’t think so…maybe for Zach or Cody…but certainly not for Victoria.
Other HGs (male) have been called out right on the air for breaking rules this season (I think it was Devin,btw), and there was no penalty then, either.
It’s not as big as you probably think. She didn’t break a rule that has to do with the game itself.
Last night on BBAD Nicole was upset and later Christine told Donny that it looks like Nicole has some competition. I think it was something about Hayden saying that Victoria was better at snuggling in bed. It made me think that Nicole really likes Hayden and has just been playing coy with him. Does anyone know what actually happened?
Isn’t that a woman for you? They act like they don’t care until they find out some other woman has that man! Now, they are pissed off that some other woman is with that man? Never understood that fact that women ignore you for the most part. Then, if they see you with another women, then, they suddenly want you! They need another woman to validate your worth! LOL
So much for Christine being this great mastermind player. She’s as much a dud as the rest of the girls it looks like. And does Victoria have to be so stereotypically a “Jewish Princess”. I hate to stereotype people but damn, it’s right there!!

What is Christine doing? Ugh! That was the perfect opportunity to start planning to get some of the power players out, the guys. A secret small girls alliance could work. She is not as smart as people wanted her be, just the Detonators’ snitch. Hope she knows she is at the bottom of that alliance. Amber, Nicole, Donny, and Hayden should team up and work against the powerhouse players.

Christine is a freakin idiot! She’s the guys puppet…the only reason why they put her in that alliance is becuz she’s a rat.
Seriously she does realize girls don’t win at the end vs guys. Especially when she has done basically nothing all season and sucks at comps. Why would she want to go the end with a bunch of people that can beat her?
I think we’re jumping the gun a little bit here. With the Detonators, she knows she’s a lock to make the jury. She is on NOBODY’S radar at the moment, and won’t be for the foreseeable future. She could be thinking it’s still a bit premature to make a big move. What if it didn’t work and the guys found out about her plan to shake up the house? Then she’s in serious trouble.
I have no problem with her staying the course until the numbers dwindle. Once there’s 7, 8 or 9 people left, then she can start making some moves. Just a thought…

Christine is quickly becoming my least favorite in the house. These girls messed up big time when they voted out Pao over Zach. Girls should have gone to Devin and told him they wanted to work with him. The girls are going home one by one..guys are using them to position themselves in the game and then when they are done with them, out the door they go. Rachel Reilly should holld a BB class for females on how to win BB. Sorry, girls..you messed up.

Rachel Reilly? Really? She basically had Big Brother 13 gift-wrapped to her. BB needed to find a way to make up for that awful season, so they threw her and her fans a bone and stacked the deck for her to win.
I’m not one of those conspiracy theorists who thinks BB production plays a hand in everything, but BB 13 was clearly set up for Rachel to make it far once Jeff got evicted. When is the POV competition ever an endurance comp?

Although they constantly revert back to her when talking good gamer. To some degree I think she is but I’m not a fan so I don’t admit that often. However, Rachel’s good game comes from surrounding herself with good players and equal targets. And absolutely, production making sure the challenge at hand is fitting for her. Watching it unfold on the days of the show was evident.
There have been some amazing female players post BB10 that they never mention but are just as deserving of the title. Some won, some didn’t but that doesn’t make them any less recognized as a great ‘female’ player.
Rachel was a smart and focused player, unlike some of the twits that think they can win by being “cute” and following directions that the guys give them.
Unfortunately Rob, if you are a Rachel fan we are never going to agree. After 2 Seasons of BB and 2 Seasons of AR (which I stopped watching because of her) I stand by what I said… she surrounding herself with good players and equal targets and/or production did their best to assure she stayed in the game. She was as good as out the door in the season she won until she was paired with Jordan and well we all know how that worked out… Before Rachel came along there were females that compared if not better than her, specifically Janelle but in those days I don’t think production interferred as much. But, this is my opinion so differences of such are good ;-)

Wonder if somebody slipped and told her she would be on slop if she didn’t start moving or if somebody slipped up on one of the alliances. May have told her she was the target if she had lost BOB.
Vic told Zach that that DR said she broke a rule. And both Zach and Vic were told they can’t talk about it. So something serious happened and they are trying to cover it up.

It must have been something during one of the 3 million+ fishy moments. I did hear her say a couple of times that something happened in the DR and she didn’t want production to lose their jobs.
I didn’t subscribe this year because I couldn’t bear to sit through another million “fishy moments” on the live feeds. It was SO annoying to have to stare at a fish tank instead of being able to see what was going on inside the house.
She told Zach so wonder if it had something to do with that crazy play acting they were doing by the pool table?
I’m just waiting for all the girls to go out so I can watch the real show. They’re probably the weakest and most naive group of girls in BB history. Except for maybe Nicole and the (groupie) Christine who’s playing a very unlikable game….she’s so beautiful !

It may be too late for Amber. She should be focusing on the game instead of looking to have a showmance with Cody. Cody seems to be just leading her on to guarantee her vote at least! She should have formed alliances earlier with a couple of the girls like Nicole, Brittany, Christine?. A small enough alliance but, keep it on the down low! That is how you fly below the radar not by broadcasting it like Joey did! LOL
I do think it’s too late for Amber but only because Caleb blew up her game for his crush. He made everyone think they were together without any input from her, and when she didn’t fall in line he decided to go against her.
As for Christine and Nicole they seem to really dislike Amber for some reason and she has no chance with them currently.
She made no effort to form an alliance with Brittany, Donnie, Jocasta for that matter. Each vote counts in the Big Brother House and it could be the difference of being evicted or living to fight another day! Then, you might win HOH and go after the ones trying to evict you! Right… & you know why they really dislike her. They bash every pretty girl, past & current HG, they can. They are super focused on Amber because of the attention Cody gave to her… which they absolUtely hated. It’s reeaaallly bad….. really.
It’s almost been exclusively Christine who displays the jealousy of the prettier women in the house…but, look at her…she looks like a witch with that nose and without any kind of shapely body. She has worked hard at influencing Nicole , even though she has already betrayed her once and WILL do it again. I really can’t wait to see the other girls get wise to her backstabbing ways and vote her OUT.

The only possibly “petty” thing I posted was my reference to her looking “like a witch”, but she does have a nose that reminds me of a witch.mask and she’s been totally untrustworthy amongst the other women in the house, throwing them under the bus at every turn.
I get what you’re saying and I think your point comes across much better just talking about her character.
Those girls (Nicole & Chris’) are so in love & attention starved for these guys, Cody in particular, that they would have NEVER aligned with Amber. They have been bashing both she & Britt for some time now & if it were based on actual gameplay, so be it, but it’s well beyooond. Catty, silly things like they “Don’t know what the boys see in Amber or Britt” & “I wouldn’t want to be them, so I don’t get it”….trash talking veteran female players looks & ways (the nerve), such as Janelle & Rachel… Nicole compared Britney Haynes ‘mean girl comments’ to Aaryn Gries & says that they should have gone after Britney too but that “They pick & choose” who they want to demonize, so to speak. The looks those two would give Amber whenever Cody (who stated to the guys that Amber was the hottest in the house, btw) gave Amber attention, rubbed her hair, hugged & held her, was very telling… cold as sh@#. I’m not the type of woman to cry “Jealousy!!” Whenever one female dislikes another… I know better. The whole situation is really unfortunate & mildly disturbing… even if this is ‘just a game’.
Donny should be using his head. No matter how good you are at competitions, you cannot win them all! He should be forging a strong alliance with Nicole, Hayden, Amber at the very least! His tendency of blabbing his mouth is hurting his game! When Nicole told him about the plan, to put up Amber and Caleb up, he blabbed his mouth out in the open for others to see! So, the trust with Nicole was broken. Christine is looking more and more like Shelley in a past season of Big Brother. Does she think the guys really trust her? After all, what they talk about in the Detonators alliance, she can pass on to the other house guests?
Quick question, you mention that Amber is untouchable after her BotB win this week. Does that mean she can’t be put up as a renom? Or are you saying that the boys offered her safety and don’t want to go back on their word?
