Zingbot made his Big Brother 16 debut and along with some pretty fantastic zings, brought along comedienne Kathy Griffin.
The episode picked up right after Donny won the Battle of the Block by himself. He’s of course suspicious that Christine tried to throw the competition. He feels hurt because he’s been nothing but nice to them.
Elsewhere, the Detonator Squad or whatever they’re calling themselves are freaking out about how obvious it must seem to Donny that Christine threw it. So Derrick pretends he’s happy that Donny won because of the whole Team America thing. Derrick thinks he’s pulling a fast one over Donny but Donny knows Derrick isn’t working with him. Derrick has everyone BUT Donny fooled in the house.
But back to the task at hand. This week. Frankie and Derrick are talking about the veto and Frankie says the obvious option to go on the block is Victoria. But Derrick does not want that. Derrick tells us in the Diary Room that getting Zach up and out would be better for his game.
We now interrupt the previously scheduled program for another HORRIBLE Team America task that will help ruin Zach’s game. So Derrick and Donny (and barely Frankie) start stealing things from the other HGs and hiding them. But first, it’s time to pick players for the veto competition.
Joining Frankie, Cody and Caleb are Victoria, Donny and Christine.
Zingbot shows up and something is off. Zingbot is being nice. So Kathy Griffin shows up to help Zingbot get his Zing back. So she dishes out the first round of Zings. Here’s what Kathy had to say to the HGs:
- Caleb, you and Amber have something in common. You think she is drop dead gorgeous and she wants you to drop dead.
- Christine, there’s a belief that glasses make people look smarter. Thanks for disproving that.
- Victoria, I would Zing you, but I’m only supposed to Zing people who are actually playing the game.
- What do you call someone who is not afraid to cry, wears pink, and cuddles with men? Zach!
At the Veto competition, Kathy hosts and tells the HGs they have to work to reboot Zingbot. They have to do the whole wires puzzle that we’ve seen in past seasons. In the end, Frankie wins the Veto and Zingbot is restored.
So bring on the real zings! Here’s what Zingbot had to say:
- Frankie, that’s a nice tan, but I’m surprised you get any sun at all considering you how much time you spend in your sister’s shadow.
- This is a house of good looking dudes. There’s not one unattractive man in here. Oh wait, I didn’t see you there, Derrick.
- Donny, your look is very Duck Dynasty. Too bad your social game is more like Suck Dynasty.
- Cody, you’re such a nice guy. You haven’t made any enemies this summer, except for maybe Christine’s husband.
After Kathy and Zingbot take off, Zach is trying to talk to Frankie about what to do and he’s already acting weird. He’s on a power trip and you can tell he already is rethinking the original plan. To help that plan along, the HGs start noticing their personal items are missing. And the blame goes right to Zach.
Of course Zach doesn’t help things by playfully stealing the cue ball from the pool table. So everyone thinks there’s a saboteur and that it’s Zach. So there’s Frankie and Derrick’s excuse for backdooring Zach. And that’s what happens. Frankie puts Zach on the block and cites partial blame of something Frankie himself was responsible for.
I felt legitimate sorry for Zach here.
Me too. I kinda felt like crying when Frankie let everyone think Zach really did take the HG’s stuff. He must feel so alone. Ugh! When you look up ‘sociopath’ in the dictionary, you’ll find a picture of Frankie. He’s next to the definition of ‘narcissist’, too. OK, it’s only in MY dictionary, but still…I’m just sayin’.

You said it! Frankie is SO full of B.S. He plays scenario’s over and over in his head and starts believing his own lies! Zach did not have ONE person say “okay…I believe you, you didn’t do it”. It was kind of hard to watch, esp. b/c Frankie is yelling in the background as he’s walking away “oh, just give it up… ” or something along those lines.
He’s like his sister, trying to get people to go long and beleive she can actually sing lol
So did I. All it took was Christine to scream through the house that Zach was the saboteur and everyone jumped on board. Why would they listen to Christine?! Because they needed to place the blame on someone! I hope Frankie gets called out for all his antics!!

Well it wasn’t really malicious, it was just kind-of making a big spectacle out of Zach more than likely getting sent home.
Seemed like a slap in the face to an old ally who probably would have sent him a vote in F2. Should have at least softened the blow… Or even diverted the blame to the group…

And Frankie looks horrid on camera.. he’s jealous because Zack looks really good one camera.

Donny proved himself the best mind in the house, along with Derrick. He reads people and situations as good as Mr. Cop does. Impressive…especially since he’s pretty solitary and not having inside conversations with everyone, like Derrick has the privilege of. For that reason, you have to put Donny as the most perceptive at reading people this season. Too bad he has no one listening to him. Ageism.
Yeah I feel a little bad for him because whenever he talks to somebody, they immediately go and tell two or three other people. It’s crazy. Cody had the perfect opportunity to work a little side deal with Donny in case Donny won HOH, but instead, he goes and blabs to Derrick their entire conversation. Doesn’t make sense…
Donny definitely knows whats going on in the house. He just needed to start talking to people and making friends sooner. At this point Derrick has the house so brainwashed that no one is going to listen to a word Donny says. They’re just going to immediately run and tell Derrick about it and make Donny a bigger target.

Derrick is doing his best to avoid Vic because of the zing to Cody, he doesn’t want to be perceived as having some kind of showmance with her. She says he hasn’t spoken to her for 3 days. Do you think she will figure out now that he has just been using her for his own game

I wonder why they didn’t show Zach stealing the cue ball? Then again, maybe I do. There’s was just too much going on, they had to cut things out. A lot of things that happened between Saturday’s Veto comp and Monday’s Veto Ceremony were cut.
They also made it seems that Zach was on the block for being thought of as the saboteur. They left out the conversations that showed that was the plan even before the veto comp. Just cbs protecting Frankie
Not really as everybody knows about the TA mission so we know Frankie Derrick planned it as they always blame him so we know it had to have been the plan
Some of the stuff said is just mean. Zach looked horrified as if it did not occur to him he was being seen that way. He is not my fav player but I really felt bad for him. People in his alliance so ready to point the finger at him and others blaming him for stuff they did. I love how Donny figures out whats going on.
Christine just showed how dumb she is on BBAD they were talking about the seasons and she says that December 21 the shortest day of the year is her favorite day. Does she not realize that the shortest day does not mean the day is any shorter that there is just less light.
I hope Julie let’s zach tell the HG that there will be a returning HG and that he will be competing to return

In a perfect Big Brother world, whoever wins HOH tonight should make an alliance to whoever returns to the game, unless the person returning to the game wins HOH. I would want either Hayden, Nicole, or Zach to return and either one of them or Donny to win HOH. They can hopefully get the bad guys out.
Question for ya’ll….did they or did they not completely edit OUT a Zing to Christine about her & Cody’s behavior?!? I thought it was mentioned on the feeds late Saturday night that there was one about her husband or her relationship with Cody that led to her crying to Derrick about it. DanDaMan said this on BB Junkies comment section: “As best as I can put together from the snippets on the feeds it was something along the lines of “Christine, I see you are a very popular girl with all the guys … well except for Tim” or something of that sort.”
Which is it? I don’t have a problem with being wrong, but I’d LOVE to know whether I truly am wrong or not. Thanks.

That one made the episode, and I was thinking when I read that comment on the other site that it sounded similar to Cody’s. Thing is, Christine was legitimately upset & crying on Derrick’s shoulder late Saturday night about ONE of the zings & I’m not sure whether it was the Cody one or another that we’re all forgetting having heard them talk about.
Re-read this week’s articles on this site. She was crying because of the zing to Cody about their inappropriate behavior.

The way it appears is that they edited it in such a way that Kathy zinged half the HG’s and the Zingbot zinged the rest, with maybe one or two crossovers ???
8 house guests…. Kathy zinged 4 of them and Zingbot zinged the other 4.
