This week’s Big Brother 13 Power of Veto competition is over and we’ve got the results. With the house split along two sides and one player straddling the fence both sets of HGs had their eyes on the Veto prize. No Pandora’s Box meddling this time around, just a good ol’ fashioned battle for control.

I’m very surprised Adam put himself in this position, but here he is. Now he’ll have the option to take off a nomination and potentially evict Jordan. Will he?

Only five HGs remained so everyone played in today’s competition.

If screws Jordan, he will be lucky to make the Final 2 because Kalia and Porsha are sticking together. If he does, he will lose Jeff and Jordan’s vote. I am glad Adam finally won a comp.

If he uses the veto he is STUPID because if all vets are in the jury and he makes final two they will make sure he does not win by screwing them over. At least if he plays with Rachel and Jordan and makes the final two, he has a chance at winning because there will be more newbies in the house and he will have a shot at winning but if he screws Jordan and Rachel over he is DONE for.
Adam will be lucky to make final 2 in any case. Do you honestly think that Jordan or Rachel would take Adam to Final 2 over each other? And also, if Adam sticks with a Veteran, he loses the other veterans’ votes regardless. Overall, Adam won’t make final 2 unless he wins the final HoH competition and whoever he’s with has a much better chance of winning than he will in any case.

Adam has at a minimum a chance at that $50,000 for coming in 2nd. He will not get a red cent if he gets booted out before he gets to final 2. Aligning with Rachel and Jordan gives him that chance. If Rachel gets to final 3 with Jordan and Adam, I believe she will choose Adam over Jordan because she does not have a chance to win against Jordan but, could have a slight chance of winning a squeaker if it was a choice between Rachel and Adam for that $500,000.
Jordan would probably take Adam over Rachel. I understand that is what Jeff suggested she do.
Sheri I agtee with you 100% oy your outlook of the adam delemia and he will stay true to Jordan he would know he would loose 2nd place and 1st if he does, at this point keep the nominations the same and leave the veto in the box adam thats your best bet.
If Adam plays the veto he will definately loose Jeff and Jordan’s vote but he will have Dani’s, Shelley’s, Porshe’s, and Kalia’s vote. Adam would be a fool not to play it. Alliances can only take you too far and can cost you the game if you don’t at some point break them. If Adam remains loyal to Jordan and Rachael he might make it to the final 3 but will not have a chance for the final 2. Now is the time for Adam to make a power move. I hope he does it.
Adam’s only chance of winning would be up against Jordan…Dani would vote for Rachel, Kalia, or Porsche over Adam. They played a better game than Adam. Rachel will win if she makes it to the final two. Dani loves the game too much not to give the money to the most deserving player, and we all know that Kalia and Porsche will vote however Dani tells them to.
Kalia is crying because she knows she is going home. She ask Adam if he was going to use the veto…He mentions the fact that she voted for him to go home. He also told Porsche that she is safe whether he uses it or not. At this point it seems as though he will not use the veto. Hopefully they will have the veto ceremony soon, before he changes his mind. Eviction will be Tuesday.
Suck it up Kalia, that’s what you get for not winning when your back’s against the wall, aka crunch time. For everyone who called Jordan a crybaby when ‘things didn’t go her way’, let’s hope you follow suit and get on Kalia’s case for the exact same thing right now.
If he doesnt screw jordan there will only be one person left in the house he could beat at the end.
As for losing jjs votes, he cant beat rachel in the end anyway, jj would still support him over porsche, and while k probably beats him if he makes a big move he can at least make aa case against het sinceshe made tje worst move of the season.
Ditching kalia is his best shot at f2. Ditching Jordan is his best shot at winning. But hes a coward so hes gonna keep playing for that 50 grand.

This is the worst season of Big Brother ever! Absolutely pathetic! The whole season has been ridiculous! CBS has completely ruined this game for me. Not one player is deserving of the money, least of all Rachel. That thing needs to crawl into a hole and die. It is a disgrace to America.

We all know now, Jeff screwed up throwing that shoe out and not realizing it, I was so pulling for Jeff to win this game. But since he is out, I feel Jordan deserving of winning this game and EVEN THO I CAN’T STAND Racheal, she is ONE HELL of a player winning just about every comp being played. If Shelly hadn’t gone out that door, that would’ve been it for me this season. I can stomach Rachael over Shelly by all means. Shelly is the biggest back stabber of all times.

Jordan formed an alliance at the beginning of the season and she has remained loyal to that alliance all through the season. This is the opposite of a floater
she didnt form no alliance. she was naturally in a alliance by default because she’s been on the show before. and she would have got rid of brendon/rachel if daniele wasnt so open about doing it
Yeah, Marcus is definitely right, the veterans were plopped into an alliance at the beginning of the season, they didn’t form jackshit. And Evil Dick was the real leader of the alliance, he set everything in motion with Shelly, Porsche, Adam etc. Jordan sat back eating cookie dough and crying.

I do not think Adam will use the POV. I think Adam is a smart guy and his best shot is stick with Rachel and Jordan, as they have had his back all along. I think he is loyal.

His best bet is to take Porche off, vote out Jordan, and try to make to the final three with Porche and Kalia.
If it was Adam/Rachel or Adam/Jordan final 2, how could he not get 2nd prize at least? I think he could trust J&R over K&P for sure, 100%.
He might not win the grandprize but with final two he will at least come away with the second prize which is better than the final 3 which is the best he can hope to do if he doesn’t finally make a power move.
They didn’t “have his back”,they used him for his votes,so THEY would get farther in the game.Then they would put him up and vote him out. IMO.
If his alliance didn’t have his back, then Jeff would have taken the cornhole veto (which he threw to Adam), and Adam would be evicted instead of Brendon. Maybe the first couple weeks he was just a vote but it grew into a strong alliance. Jeff & Jordan definitely had his back, and I think he will remain loyal.
Jeff let Adam win because he didn’t want to feel obligated to take Brendon of the block. He didn’t let Adam win out of loyalty. If you have all the shows DVRed watch it again so that you can hear Jeff say why he really let Adam win.

I sure hope you are right. It is funny how that the only person that didn’t need to win the veto did. As much as I love the show, I am beginning to think it is a little staged or a lot staged. He will be on my **** list if he uses it to pull off one of those goofy girls!!
Porsche is Adam’s buddy, sure, but he doesn’t have to use it to ensure her safety. The target is Kalia, so tell Porsche that because at the end of the day she only truly cares about her own safety. Don’t burn bridges this late in the game Adam, do what you’re used to doing, which is nothing. Float on for another week and maintain the status quo.
Wow – if he uses it. Jordan goes up and leaves for the jury. Then unless Rachel wins the veto next week she is gone too, since she can’t play in the HOH.

Only upside to winning this Veto is to up his win count so jurors/houseguests have less of a reason to say he’s doing nothing.
I think possibly Kalia or Porche were still in the veto comp therefore he couldn’t throw it unless he wanted to go up on the block. If it would of been him and Jordan in the end he would of thrown it to her.

When the house guests talk to him about gameplay, he never gives a straight answer to anyone, he always dances around the issue. So it should be real interesting to see how frustrated Rachel gets with answers that .

Jordan is not a floater. She doesn’t go to whoever the power is. She has been on side from the beginning. Learn what a floater is. Adam and Shelly were floaters going with the power.

there are two kinds of floaters. jordan is the floater that does nothing, but gets carried to the end. probably the worse kind of floater because they actually dont play the game, they dont even lie, they just sit pretty for how ever many weeks they are in the house.
shelly wasnt a floater. she was with jeff and jordan until her lie came out last week. she worked everybody (not named jeff and jordan) for information, (saved jeff’s behind by running her mouth about the backdoor plan) and reported it all to jeff and jordan

Jordon is a coaster/coattail rider not a floater. A coaster is a person in an alliance who just basically flies under the radar and lets her alliance do all the work.
The reason alot of fans misused the word floater is fact. Those playing BB misuse the word all the time.

Can someone explain what the OTEV comp is? I don’t really get it and everyone else seems to know exactly what it is..
it’s the one where some big talking head or clam tells them to search the yard for hg names, last one back with a name is out

OTEV is a talking display that asks the HGs questions about prior or current HGs. The first HG to go find the correct name hidden in the yard somewhere and bring it back to OTEV wins that question.

Like Be Miz said, it’s a largue statue with a wide gaping mouth (often sings what it says) and it gives clues as to what HG name it’s looking for, HG’s run around the yard looking for cards/whatever other objects (one year it was voodoo dolls) with the corresponding HG name on it, then run back up a hill (usually slippery) to OTEV’s mouth and tell him what name they brought back. There’s always one too few spots on the hill, so each round the last person to make it back with the correct answer is eliminated until there’s a winner.

Adam has to get Jordan out now. He stands no chance in the final 2 with a vet.
On the other hand, Jordan is nice to have in the final 3 since she can’t win anything, but not in the final 2 since she’d win.
Funny thing is, even if he made final two, nobody would vote for him. This year cast made it too personal. Gaurentee thier votes will be based on butthurt feelings instead of gameplay. He should get rid of Jordan, that’ll be the way to get Rach, if your trying to take out Rach, it’s a good move, isolate her, but he hates Kalia just as much, so it’ll be interesting to see what he does.

I could imagine Adam saving Porsche, then voting to evict Kalia rather than Jordan. Then Kalia would leave after Rachel breaks the tie.

I think that Adam doesn’t care if he wins now. If he got to meet Tori Spelling than his life is complete!
Adam has managed to float and go further than expected. You have to ask what was he thinking? Why would he win the competition now then, be forced to decide which side he is on? If he helps either Kalia or Porsche get off the block, Jordan will be on the block and he will lose the veterans votes. Two, if Rachel winds up in the block next week then, he would be the one going home if she wins POV and both of them on the block! Of course, he could win HOH next and he would have power over Kalia, Porsche and Rachel.
He already told Rachel he will not use the Veto … but you never know … stuff changes in that house EVERYDAY! Jordan said yesterday that Adam and Porsche have some kind of connection … now I’m saying … what if Porsche was really Farrah? LOL!!! :oD
Adam can keep Porsche safe without using the Veto, he’ll just have to explain to her why her “BFF” is going to have to leave the house instead. Explain to Porsche it’s not in his best interest to turn on Jordan, but he’s still looking out for Porsche, and she has to respect that. Adam’s vote then goes to evict Kalia, Jordan follows suit because Kalia’s the target, and if Jordan flips (I just laughed out loud) then Rachel still breaks the tie and can evict Kalia.
This isn’t hard Adam, keep your buddy without burning a bridge. Don’t screw this up, too many juror votes at risk.

I want Rachel to win the game, but if Adam decides to go ahead and take all the newbies to final three with him, he’ll the veto on porche, and this will force rachel to put Jordan up. Jordan will get voted out. Then Rachel will get voted out. That leaves porche, kalia and adam in final three. LAME! (Unless CBS has anything to do with it)
Alliances mean nothing at this point, it’s everybody for themselves and Adam knows it. I think Jordan goes, it’s a big move and he needs a big move in his resume. Nobody wants to take him to the final two, he has to make his own moves now, or he just fades away.
Adam wants a big move on his resume, I’m sure, but I bet he settles for upping his win count, which he did with this Veto. Drive some confidence into him and let him believe in himself he can win the next HoH and/or the final HoH and then not only get to choose who’s sitting beside him, but then nobody can say he did nothing. There’s too much at risk if he uses it, he risks as many as four jury votes. Jeff, Jordan, Rachel for turning on her and Jordan when he swore he wouldn’t, and in turn, Brendon. Even if Rachel stays and that’s his final two partner, it’s three votes he won’t get, Jeff, Jordan for turning on them, and Brendon clearly votes for Rachel. Cutting it close to know right off the bat that he won’t have three votes when all you need against you to lose is four
But the final 3 have to play endurance … Kalia won’t win … it will be Porsche and Adam final 2 … If Adam goes final 3 endurance with Rachel and Jordan … he will get to final 2 … Jordan won’t win endurance … so in Adam’s mind he win’s either way … BUT if he is with J or K at the end the vets will not vote for him … The vets will have power … 4 against 3 … Adam better just not use the veto …

Adam will do whatever production convinces him is best for his game. He has no mind of his own. If he did, he’d realize that Jeff, Jordan and Brendon will never vote for Porche or Kalia to win no matter who they are against. Adam is odd man out with Rachel/Jordan and Kalia/Porche so he has to count votes.
He can’ beat Jordon (Jeff, Rachel, Brandon, Kalia and maybe even Dani will not vote for Adam).
He may be able to beat Rachel (Jordon, Jeff and Brendon will be the only votes for Rachel).
He can beat Kalia (J/J/B/R will for for Adam).

He did have. Worried…he repeatedly said last week, I need to win some comps, I need to get to the end by winning, I need this for people to vote for me. He also. Told jordan and rachel he will win…they precisely said “adam,no more coasting and throwing comps, you. HAVE to step it up and try”…he said “I WILL win this veto to PROVE to you I’m with you guys” he also said to himself in storage “f*** yesss! I am NOT using this veto, I’m sticking to my F3 with rachel and jordan” he also gave jordan his neckalce from farrah and said “this is for you to hold on to, so you know my F3 deal with you guys is solid”. Adam’s best move would be to use the Veto on Porche, and then vote for Kalia to leave, Porche will for Jordan, it would be a tie and Rach will vote out Kalia, that way, its him and Porche against Jordan and Rach, it shows he made a move, and its a win win for him, he breaks up the K/P party, and if he makes it to the end, he will get all the vets votes.

Can’t say for sure until I see how this competition went, and if Rachel and Jordan were in the running before he won it, but as it stands right now Adam won with Rachel and Jordan playing. He doesn’t need to go 2 on 2, not saying it would be a horrible thing for him, but he doesn’t need to. I believe he wants a final two with Jordan, and I hope he’s building some confidence that if the final three is him, Rachel and Jordan, then he can win that final HoH competition and handpick the final two.
He also doesn’t need a huge ballsy move to win, he just needs more competition wins. He technically has two now (yes I know one was with great assistance, but it counts) and if he wins that final HoH, then he can garner votes. Jordan in season 11 won the final HoH and that proved her worth enough to win it all.

how is it smart to keep Kalia and Porche. Kalia is good player in hoh quizes and endurances challenges. Porshe is good at competions that are physical. Jordan sucks at competions. So in finals against Jordan all you have to do is beat rachael. Which is possible to beat.

Never liked Kalia from the start and she did nothing to win me over. Same with Porche, she really thought people would be impressed that she was a hostess? It’s complete nonsense when players on BB or Survivor want to take “the best competitor” with them to the final two. That’s a recipe for coming in second place. You want to take someone against whom you can win jury votes.

I didn’t hear anything about about double eviction special but I did an extra HG goes home wesenday and thay didn’t say anything about a whole weeks comps in 2 days either. I do think it’s kinda unfair that the final 5 HOH can’t compete and not beening able to defend his/her self. This is just me but the final 5 hoh should be able to compete or be safe from eviction but not beening able to vote either and The final 4 hoh make the chioce of the other 2 to take to the final 3 HOH comp.

Win round 1, you get a bye to round 3. Two losers of round 1 square off in round 2. Winner of round 2 faces winner of round 1 in round 3, winner of that of course is final HoH and handpicks who to sit next two on finale night.

Hey vetfan…I also don’t think the fortune teller is going to hand out a power. Not sure if it’ll do what BB UK did, but if it does give one person a ‘fortune’, I also think it’ll be some form of hint or clue as to what’s going to happen next/soon. Informing of the details of the next double eviction this week might just be it. I just really hope that creepy thing doesn’t speak, just spits out a card to read like the Zoltar machine from Big (Tom Hanks movie).
However, I also think it could be something ‘juicier’. If it was just that, then whoever found out doesn’t have much of a reason to withhold the info from everyone else. Every vote counts in the jury house considering it is split between the veterans and Team Dani members. Adam’s best shot is to get to final 2 first. Then, he gets atleast, $50,000. Porsche and Kalia will stick to each other knowing that both of them will win atleast, $50,000 at a minimum if they are in final 2 and one of them wins $500,000. Why would they bother taking Adam with them and risk Adam winning that $500,000? Compared to Kalia and Porsche, Adam has played more cleanly and less abrasive than those two!

I am team Rachel/Jordan but I thnk it would be best for Adam’s game if he DID use the veto.
I mean the biggest threat competition wise is Rachel, and if you take out her only ally (Jordan) Rachel has absolutely no one playing in HOH, and she is the only one playing for veto, yeah Rachel would be in a really bad spot.
I think if Adam could even try to make a case for himself for the 500K, it would have to be through making a game move.
Unfortunately for Adam, & fortunately for Jordan/Rachel Adam is not someone to make a game move. I think Adam will continue to float on by and not use the veto.
I totally disagree K n P r stronger comp then J n R its better to go to final 3 with j n R since he really only has to worry about R cuz we know the J is not that good in comp. Now when it comes to K n P both of them r comp K has proofed it in endurance n questions. My fear is that Adam is such a floater that he will take Porsche off the block and Rachel will have no choice other than to replace her with Jordan. Adam is unwilling to make ANY moves on his own, he simply wants to side with whoever is in power at the moment. He puts Jordan up, she’s voted out, Rachel cannot win HOH the next time, it will be one of the other three newbies and Adam will be afraid to not be on the side of the new HOH. At this point, Rachel can be mad at him, what can she do to him, he probably has the numbers on his side.

Like it or not, Adam’s best game move is to *not* use the Veto. Let’s recall: Rachel is HOH, so she can’t play in the next HOH competition. If he gets Kalia or Porsche, two strong competitors mind you, evicted, that’s one less person he has to deal with if he wants to try to win HOH and guarantee his spot in the final three.
I hope adam uses the veto and jordan goes home. I think both Kalia and Porsche have done more in the game than Jordan has and deserve to win more than she does.

I think he should use the veto to get Jordan eliminated, but then work on Rachel to align with him. He’s the odd man out in either scenario of “final three”, so his only chance of winning is to replace someone else in a scenario of “final two”. Plus, this way Rachel won’t get her hands dirty when Jordan is eliminated, so it would be a win for her.
If Jordan were to be eliminated, that would pit Adam against Porsche and Kalia with the odds stacked against Adam winning HOH! Adam and Rachel will be on the block and if Rachel manages to win POV then, Adam is going to the jury house! Adam’s best move is not to use the veto. There would be one newbie on the other side, Kalia or Porsche against Adam and Jordan for HOH! That is much better odds wise to get to final 3. Rachel if she wins HOH will probably take Adam to final 2 because that is her best shot at that $500,000 and guarantees that Adam gets $50,000.
Adam’s best move is to used veto and try to get rid of Jordan. Side with the newbies and play like hell to win HoH or more importantly POV.
If any newbie has a chance to win, they MUST get rid of Jordan now and Rachel next. If Rachel gets POV Adam’s gone and so is his dreams of final 2.
If Adam does not use the POV, he virtually guarantees a Jordan or Rachel win. He absolutely has NO CHANCE of better than a top 3. (Unless he sweep wins to the end. Highly unlikely to happen.)

Jordan shook hands with Adam on a Final 2 deal after veto. She is looking real nervous right now as Adam is talking to Rachel and her and just said who makes a final 2 deal with someone and the whole house finds out about it. He was talking about his final 2 deal with Kalia. He is mad because Kalia didn’t vote for him.
During veto Adam finished first, Porche 2nd, Jordan last. Don’t know between Rachel and Kalia who was 3rd or 4th.

Jordan has not played a great game. When she was HoH, she did whatever Jeff told her. Her only claim to being a good social player is that everyone likes her because she’s nice. That does not earn someone a second half million dollars in my book.
Rachel has not played a great game. She has had the benefit of production (she won the banana competition, of course she was going to win the parachute POV) and is only still there because they were afraid she would come back and so the house voted Lawon out instead (another production intervention).
Adam has done nothing except play for third place all season. He’s like the geeky kid who does whatever the cool kids tell him to do in hopes that they let him hang out with them later. And they never do. He probably has convinced himself that he can win the final HoH, take Jordan, and win since she already won. But Rachel, Jeff, and Brendon would all vote for Jordan, so she would only need one more. Shelly? Likely.
Porsche gets blamed for doing nothing all season but remember when she was making deals with the veterans in week one and getting herself a golden key? What about all the competitions where she came in second? She wasn’t out first like Adam usually was. And she wasn’t floating. She was pretty obviously in Daniele’s camp for a while. Just because Jeff said she didn’t do anything because he didn’t like her, doesn’t mean she actually didn’t do anything.
Kalia made a deal with the veterans in week one to vote out Keith, too. She was in the middle of the Daniele/Dominic VS Brenchel fight. Her mistake was playing up to Jeff the first time she was HoH and letting him bully her. She isn’t very good at physical races, but she has endurance and she does well in mental competitions. She played, in my estimation, the strongest game of anyone left. Unfortunately for her, Jeff doesn’t like her, which is going to make it tough for her to get votes at the end.
Adam would be guaranteeing himself a third place finish if he does not use the veto. If he uses it, he stands a better shot against Kalia and Porsche in the final HoH and in the final vote tally. Kalia and Porsche are disliked by a lot of people. Jordan and Rachel are liked by a lot of jurors. It’s in his best interests to use it and it’s the fairest thing that could happen for those of us who appreciate “Big Brother” over the “Big Jeff” show.

You make a good case and it could well go that way, but my mind tells me that they’ll pull the he didn’t play the game card and justify that. My whole angle towards the whole thing is that unless it’s Rach/Porshe or Rach’Kalia, it’s gonna be based on personal feelings instead of gameplay and influence of gameplay. In that case he’s screwed, he was looked at as Jeff and Jordan’s poodle. The house really doesn’t have too much respect for him as a player. I think he’s playing a decent game, if he didn’t he wouldn’t have gotten this far, pure and simple. On the block 4 times and escaped, he deserves props for that, but they’ll ding him for not making a hard desicion. If he gets rid of Jordan, that might help his cause a little bit.
If he says that to Jeff, he will lose his vote. Jeff is one butthurt individual when things don’t go his way or when he get’s shown up.
If Adam had the nerve to say that to Jeff then he doesn’t deserve his vote. Nevermind being a Jeff fan, that’s not what this is about, it’s about the fact that Jeff helped protect him and carry him for a lot of this game. Jeff hasn’t gotten as far in his attempts because he won competitions and placed a target on himself by being a threat, hell, Jeff is seen as a threat before Adam before the game even begins, just due to the differences in physical shape they’re in, it happens all the time, Keith was pegged as ‘he’s gotta be athletic’ by looks alone since he didn’t get to prove it. Adam floated for weeks, to do that you need help and protection. Who else provided that more than Jeff? I also find it funny that nobody thinks Jeff would hang out with him outside the game, if they don’t it’s probably because New Jersey and Chicago aren’t close enough to each other, but other than that I do believe Jeff considers Adam a friend. He wants Adam to be final two with Jordan, and sure, go ahead and say it’s because he thinks Jordan would win against him. That’s most likely the case, but I don’t think for a second that it’s not also because Jeff would like to see Adam get $50,000, and because Jeff would know that no matter what happens somebody he likes wins the game.

Kind of sounds like a cover up of someone who really just doesn’t like Jeff and likes Porsche and/or Kalia, but you back up your points well, so I respect your opinion. You say Porsche made ‘all those deals’ in week 1, I remember her crying because she was on the block and not understanding she wasn’t the target. Rachel wanted her safe for four weeks. After getting her golden key, she fell asleep until day 50. Let’s face it, between the two points she really wasn’t doing anything, not even talking game let alone playing it, because in her words ‘I don’t want to talk game I just want to hang out’. These her words after she signed up for Big Brother…
With houseguest numbers dwindling, she was finally able to win something, but I don’t credit her for two of her three 2nd place finishes. In the Veto she finished 2nd to Brendon, she didn’t do anything, she didn’t write down a time that would’ve made her play the challenge, did that through all rounds including the last one where Brendon completed the challenge. She sat on the sidelines.
Her 2nd place HoH finish to Daniele deserves only slightly more credit, but not much more. It was a counting game that any viewer and all houseguests know was largely based on luck. Even Dani, who won it, was surprised because she’s not normally a good counter. She was way off on the first question, but was lucky Rachel lost her mind and guessed 1500 somehow.
Porsche’s only legitimate 2nd place finish was to Jeff in his HoH win. Full credit for that one. And as it stands, she has two wins. As many as Adam after today, as many as Kalia, only one more than Jordan, and obviously Rachel leads in this category.
Kalia (all personal disdain for her aside) was absolutely floating for the first chunk of this game, until Brendon confronted her about it and lit a fire under her. It was only after then she finally won something, and it wasn’t ‘pretty obvious’ she was with Dani for a good part of the beginning of this game. Although, once she went to Dani’s side, she never floated back from it and still hasn’t, that I will give her. Kalia also admitted she was lucky to win her first HoH, but ever since acts like she’s the biggest gift to the game, a super strong competitor, etc, and it’s nauseating. I’d say that for anybody constantly tooting their own horn (Porsche’s done it) because there’s such a thing as humility.
I can agree Rachel’s wins were too far apart, won early on, nothing for weeks, and now I guess she’s got her groove back, and while I won’t yell ‘RIG!’ I agree she’s had some production assistance…just like Dani got some when she was on the block before she was evicted. Rachel isn’t the only one who’s had a scale tipped in her favour.

I agree with everything except for 1 thing.. The Veto that P won was by accident. Had Jeff noticed that he had thrown his clown shoe out he would of won that Veto. So I actually only give her credit for her HOH won with the snake eye..

See what coming? Yea you’re right, I saw people taking my comment as sour grapes that Jeff is gone, even though I clearly stated ‘I realize it was just bad luck, so go the breaks’. Not calling conspiracy or crying foul. I don’t think he was seeing it as having everyone in the bag, and even if he was, he was the best competitor at the time and even his haters can’t deny that. Rachel only woke up again after he left. And I keep saying it, I don’t see anything wrong with how he handled the loss, he just couldn’t believe he threw the shoe out and messed himself up, and didn’t like Dani rubbing it in, but he didn’t lose it on her did he? Didn’t tell her to shut up, nothing, he grinned and beared it. People should bash or praise based on facts, not bias or assumption or anything. I’ve pointed out Jeff’s faults despite him being my favourite, but I continue to see him bashed for things that aren’t even deserving.

Brendon confronted Kalia in week three. She was arguably “floating” until then, but really, it was just a matter of her not being a puppet for the two couples like Adam and Shelly were at that point (and Adam still is).
I would be ok with Jeff and Jordan in the abstract if it wasn’t for the fact that it was becoming the “Big Jeff” show and he was sailing to the end with Jordan. I do like Kalia, but mostly because, like I said, I think she’s the best player left. Rachel has no social skills. Jordan has no strategy, she’s just nice. Adam is the outcast who wants to sit at the popular table and has no social game and his strategy is a losing one. Porsche failed to make any sort of impact on the players and so, they think she is weak.
On a separate note, I don’t understand the anti-floater sentiment. Some of the best players of all time were floaters (like Danielle from season 3 or Alison from season 4) and the best seasons are filled with floaters. Polarized houses make for more predictable and therefore boring seasons.

Very good, valid points made. I’m not sure about anyone else with the anti-floater sentiment, but I personally just prefer competitors, I would even vouch for an All-Competitors season if that were even possible to pan out, which I know it isn’t, but I think it would be the best television to watch a competition involving several players who are really trying to win, and all have a real shot at it too.
That being said, I can also appreciate the other sides of the strategy of this game. I liked Dan’s play from season 10, and he clearly wasn’t a monster in competitions, so it’s not just black and white.
To answer your question about Dani’s assistance, Jeff was being prodded not to backdoor her, but of course not forced and Jeff said ‘Sorry, but no’ to their wishes. When he put her up, production was trying to get the votes for Dani to stay. I’m not one to fall for speculation or call ‘rig’ but unfortunately houseguests have big mouths and have let this info slip on the live feeds. Dani for example has let it slip that she’s good friends with someone in production, which to me is a breach of game integrity as it’s a clear conflict of interest. But like you said, it didn’t work anyway, she was evicted.
But on the same token, Rachel had a scale tipped for her, but wasn’t clearly guaranteed that Veto. It may have been geared towards her, but unless people think it was an act to make it look believable (and I’m sure many do) Rachel did have her struggles in staying up, she re-positioned several times, and Kalia (despite the horrible all-arms method she used) gave Rachel a run for her money.
Kalia I hate to admit it actually is one of the better players left, only Rachel can really be considered, but I strongly think that speaks more towards the weakness of the remaining players than it speaks for Kalia’s ability and gameplay to this point.
Kalia and Porsche will not take Adam to final 2. Why would they? They have Danielle’s vote and the vote of the veterans because one of them must win! The loser gets $50,000 just the same! On the other hand, if Adam is in the final 3 with Jordan and Rachel, Rachel if she wins HOH will take Adam over Jordan because that is her only chance at that $500,000. It might be a tight vote but, Rachel can win it 4-3 if either Kalia or Porsche vote for Rachel. Rachel played the game much, much more than Adam so, I see one of the Danielle alliance peeling off to vote for Rachel if that is the case. And if Danielle and her puppets all decide to vote for Adam then, he can get all 4 votes of the newbies to win that $500,000! Adam’s best chance is with Rachel and Jordan. If he evicts Jordan, he will not make it to final 2!
Rachel will not take Adam to the Final 2. She’s loyal to a fault in this game. She flirts with the idea of betraying her alliance all the time, but she never actually does. If the final three are Rachel, Jordan, and Adam, Rachel will win the final HoH and vote out Adam. She could throw it and let Adam win, but he would keep Jordan.
Adam’s best chance is against the weaker competitors: Kalia and Porsche. His only chance of sitting in the Final two is to win the last HoH and his best chance to do that is against Kalia and Porsche.
Unfortunately for Adam, I’m pretty sure his only shot is against Porsche and that final 2 is unlikely at best.
Lets think about this. If Jordan goes to the final two she has a great chance of winning. She will have 3 automatic votes and I have a feeling Shelley will vote for her too. That is four votes right there. To take Jordan to the final two is not going to work. If Adam did choose to use the veto that would be a major game changing move and I believe he would gain the respect of many of the other houseguests. I think he has a better chance of winning if he uses the veto and puts Jordan up.

Strategically, he should NOT use the Veto. He’ll lose Vet votes in the Jury and this year the Vets control the votes so he shouldn’t do that. Lurker, I agree that Jordan is not much of a threat. The thing is Rachael her partner is. Rachael will be subsantially weakened if Jordan gets evicted. It will also leave her vulnerable to be evicted next since she cannot play in the HOH comp. By using the veto he would be eliminating a huge threat.

I think that Jordan is playing the game-weakly. There is more to the game than being sweet to everybody. For much of the game she didn’t do anything but hide behind Jeff and has not performed in the competitions since he left. She doesn’t even seem to give much effort in the comps. She shouldn’t win the game just for being nice.

Regardless of who Adam decides to send home this week, the odds become 3-1, with Adam siding with the two he saves. The best move for him is to get rid of Jordan, regardless of how it makes him feel, because that puts him with Kalia and Porche. Come time for HoH, the three people competing are the three newbs. They can easily pick Rach off, she’d not have a chance except Veto. Even if she won Veto, she’d eliminate Kalia before anyone.
By just eliminating Jordan, Adam coasts into final 3, maybe final 2, and at least with no vets next to him, he stands a chance of winning. This isn’t me playing favorites, this is a near fool proof plan Adam could follow.

As of right now, all three newbies have won a comp each. So with an even playing field, he has just as good a shot as the other two. Jordan and Rachael as a team are stong. Rachael is the threat. If Adam gets rid Jordan then Rachael is weakened and vulnerable. Adam has the power right now to eliminate the biggest threat in the game. He won’t make it to final two if he keeps Racheal and Jordan together. He has a chance if he breaks them up. If he doesn’t have the Gonads to do it then he doesn’t deserve to win.

Rachel cannot be weakened by jordan going home, because rachel is the one winning everything. And as far as the whole who he should take out of the game thing, there are no more newbies vets crap at this point there are 5 people and all 5 of them are trying to be in the F2. Its all about who he does and can trust at this point and that’s jordan. As I said before adam wants kalia gone this week, he can achieve that by NOT using the veto and can also keep his word to jordan at the same time. Some people like to keep their word and I.tegrity in the game. There is no need for adam to use the veto. So he won’t.
I see only one scenario where Jordan doesn’t win if she gets to the final. Kalia’s gone, so that’ll play through. Porshe wins HOH and she puts up Rach and Adam. Rach doesn’t win pov. Jordan will vote Rach off if that happens, I’ll bet anything on it. She lost two votes there and she ends up going against Porshe. porshe will easily get Dani and Kalia’s vote. She goes against Adam she wins hands down. If Rach makes it, it’ll be a close vote, but I think Jordan will pull it out in the end.

I doubt Jordan will evict Rachel. If she does and goes against Porsche, Porsche has the votes to win. By evicting Rachel, she loses Rachel and Brendan’s votes because they are sore losers (like last year) and the only other votes she will get are problem from Jeff and Shelly.

Adams decision on whether he will use the veto will determine what happens with the second HOH. If they take Jordan out the newbies will be in control. Rachael will not win the comp because she will be in peices agains and not worth a shit. She will be voted out. That is of course unless Big Brother saves her butt once again. If Adam does not use the veto then Jordan and Rachael will be in power and take out Porshe or Kalia. Now fortified and strong Rachael will win the final HOH and choose to take Jordan to the final 2. Adam will be left in the 3rd place. To have any chance of going to the final 2 he must use the veto.

I think even though Julie hasn’t flat out said “Just like last time!” that it will be just like before, sped up action, just slightly altered and not AS sped up. All competitions still played. Wednesday they evict early, play a new HoH competition, end the show with nominations made. Thursday’s episode, Veto played in first third of the show, Veto ceremony and voting in second third of the show, and episode ends with the start of the final HoH competition.

Yea I know what you’re referring to, I like that competition. I still think they’re going to play it this season. I generally like ‘lowest time’ competitions, there’s little luck there and you need skill to win. Usually part 2 of the final HoH comp is time-sensitive, but I’m hoping there’s two timed games left, not just that one.

She came in 2nd on the two the night Jeff was evicted. Before/after and the snake eye game which she should have won since they drew for positions and then had a practice round for positions…What was the point in the draw-she should have won that.
She kept a low profile while Jeff took the lead and played her excellent social game.(while taking care of rachel at one point-huge move) Now, without Jeff she is picking up her deals with players as well as still having a super social game.Jordan is playing a very good all around game whether you like her or not. No wonder she has won this game before…She was also stabbed through the heart by the biggest bs b—h the game has ever known. Yes, Jordan could be a bit more of a problem than I give her credit for if she reaches final 2…
Probably the ones calling Jordan a floater don’t know what the definition of floater is, likely because they just started watching BB and don’t realize that this is more than a drama reality show like Jersey Shore, one has to think and have some intelligence to get it :-)
Jordan won a HOH that Jeff and Brendan could easily beat her out of. They chose not to thereby handing her the HOH. Jordan hid behind Jeffs back until he was out and then was unable to win any competitions. She didn’t even appear to put any effort into it. I don’t count the clothing comp because it was meaningless to the game. I just think that one should have to give more than being nicey nicey to everyone to win the grand prize. Jordan doesn’t deserve it.

Jordan scored a 3 in “Big Brother Open” comp. She knocked out all the newbies. She was the first vet to put, scored her 3 and knocked out Dom and Kalia from the winners circle. At that point, it didn’t matter at all who won HoH. A vet would be in charge. Did you hear Brendon and Jeff hoot and holler and celebrate when Jordan got her 3? They knew they had the HoH room no matter what, so they didn’t care who won. They just assume give it to Jordan because there was no need in trying. I guess you can say they were being gentlemen in allowing her to get her letter and stuff. If one is going to say that Jordan didn’t really win this comp, Then I guess one can say that Rachel’s 2nd HoH win “Big Brother Online” was thrown to her, too? After all, it came Rachel and Brendon on the last two questions, who is to say he didn’t throw that one to her? Some viewers thought he did that for her. It was foolish for her to take that HoH, because as a result she didn’t get to compete in the “Big Brother Shalom” endurance comp which she very well could have won. Rachel should have thought ahead and let Brendon win the comp…because she would have likely won it, and things would be a whole lot different!

It continues to be viewed as an automatic that if Jeff or Brendon tried in the golf competition they absolutely would’ve bested Jordan’s 3, even though that means sinking a 1 or 2, or a 3 to tie. All difficult shots to make and they only got one shot. Brendon won a Veto sinking a golf ball with about 4 seconds left out of 33 with rapid fire multiple shots, did he sink it with his first shot? No
But somehow, they absolutely would’ve beaten Jordan…

He has to keep the vet votes, there’s freaking three of them in the jury already, and if Adam’s final 2, there’s four, enough on their own to decide the winner. However, I’m not ready to say it’s an automatic that all vets will vote the same way, there’s a decent chance, but it’s not a given.
Bottom line though, I agree with you. He’d be a fool to backstab Jordan and risk 2-4 votes.
There could even be five vets in Jury if Adam is up against Porsche…

Yea, he can if he continues to win competitions and Jordan doesn’t. Jordan is only guaranteed a vote from Jeff, not even from Brendon or Rachel, but even those who feel they’ll all vote alike, fine, that’s three votes. Dani, Kalia, Porsche and Shelly are all chances at votes for Adam if he’s won more competitions, especially since he has one Veto and two HoH’s (including the big one) left on the table. Hypothetically if he wins all three, Jeff won’t be able to convince the entire jury that Jordan should win. The jury will also sadly factor in that Jordan won her season and already got half a million dollars, even though I’ll never agree that that should be a factor.

Why Adam should use the Power of Veto this week
So to recap where we are at right now; Rachel is HOH and has nominated Kalia and Porche. Adam has just won the Power of Veto. And Jordan….well she is coasting along as normal. Surprisingly, Adam, who has done nothing all season long, has won the most important competition of the entire game. Why? Well this veto will determine the final three who will compete to decide the all important final two.
Now there are a lot of questions about where Adams allegiances lie, he has been with the vets almost all season long but has repeatedly said he wanted to see an all newbie finale. And this is the time he can make that happen. He can finally make one of the biggest game moves all season long that will ensure that two vets are sent to the jury house.
See I believe Adam should use the Power of Veto and take down one of the nominees. Let’s say for instance he takes down Porche. That would force Rachel to nominate Jordan in her place since there isn’t anyone else left. Now the only people voting to evict would be Adam and Porche which would mean that Jordan would be walking out that door as the next evictee.
Now thinking ahead to next week, Rachel wouldn’t be able to compete for HOH as she is the current HOH. Meaning whoever wins would nominate Rachel and a pawn. For example, say Kaliah wins next week’s HOH. She would nominate Rachel and Adam. Porche would be the only vote and she would then vote out Rachel leaving the final three as Adam, Kalia and Porche. An all Newbie Finale.
Now from here it is anyone’s game, but lets be honest it would probably be Porche and Kalia in the finale as Adam is one of the worst competitors ever.

3) Just because Rachel would be nom’ed next week doesn’t mean she’s walking out the door. She has a great chance of winning veto, where in that case she would cast the sole vote to evict. HoH really doesn’t matter at all at final 4, save for being guaranteed safety. The PoV winner has all the power that week.

There was NO REASON/BENEFIT for Adam to win the veto if he did NOT intend to use it. By letting ANYONE ELSE win, he was safe and would have NO BLOOD on his hands … Rachel/Jordan wins, noms stay the same, Kalia likely out. Kalia/Porsche wins, winner takes self off and other goes home while Adam sits as pawn. He knows every aspect of this game and exactly what is at stake: If Adam does NOT use the veto and vote out Jordan, not only does he have no chance to win, but he will overtake Lawon as the most DELUSIONAL player this season … maybe ever.

I will be so freaking happy when I see Kalia walk out that door Wednesday. I cannot stand her constant, constant yapping, eating, thinking she’s high and mighty. I would rather Porsche win than Kalia…and to think Kalia was my fav newbie the first half of the season. Even up until last week, I wanted her to win over Porsche or anyone else. Now I just want her gone. Adam likely doesn’t like being constantly badgered and badgered like Porsche and Kalia are doing and it’s just going to make him even MORE set in his decision! It’s similar to when Dani was on the block and they kept badgering him CONSTANTLY about voting to keep her. He doesn’t seem like the type that likes being bothered and begged about the same thing all the time. From what I could tell with Kalia and Porsche trying to convince him a few mins ago, he’s just letting them talk and going “mhmm” not really agreeing with them. They’re saying the same old tired things they’ve been saying. It’s like beating a dead horse. Unless they have something completely new to tell him, they need to stop. It’s the very definition of insanity – trying something over and over again and expecting a different result. Do they think if they keep saying the same tired lines to him over and over that he’ll eventually say OK? Porsche isn’t really trying anything….she knows she is safe either way…it’s Kalia that is droning on and on and on. Happy to see you finally saw the light about Kalia lol. I can’t stand her and everything you said you can’t stand about her, same here, plus probably more. She was never my favourite anything even from the start. Week 1 and 2 I probably disliked others more than her, but it wasn’t long before I wanted her out more than anybody and I definitely not for a second in this game ever wanted her to win. I think the deal with Adam is that he’s too nice of a guy. Remember Jeff told him to kind of snub Dani instead of constantly listening to her, but he never did it…I just think he’s too nice to tell them to leave him be.. and with him letting Kalia constantly talk to him, he’s just being nice and not saying much to her. He knows everything she says is BS and she’s being just like Dani, saying whatever she can to stay. Adam isn’t stupid, he knows the game and how people play it. Mark my words, nothing she says will change his mind. Now if it was Rachel that would potentially go home if he used it, then that’d be another story, but he will never do that to Jordan. They have a secret “let’s not talk of this again” final 2 deal with one another which is why Adam gave Jordan his girlfriend Farrah’s necklace, as sort of a way to reassure her that he is sticking with her. No way will he used that thing. One positive from all of the begging Kalia is doing, is maybe she’ll get hoarse and won’t be able to talk!

The Veto winner is immune from being a replacement nominee, unless it’s next week with four left and if the HoH or two nominees don’t win the Veto. If the Veto winner is the one not on the block and they mysteriously decide to use it, then the only choice of replacement is them. So that’d never happen.
Adam wouldnt have put himself in that position if he wasnt going to use the veto.
He could take one of them off, which would force rachel to put up jordan, And adam and kalia or porsche could get out jordan.

It was him and Porsche last two remaining to win the Veto, if he let Porsche win it he would’ve been the replacement and he knows that. Now if only All-Stars meant all strong competitors. It didn’t. Alison was in that cast and she was a floater in Season 4. Will and even Mike weren’t selected for their competition play. I can’t even think of anyone other than James who was a really strong competitor, so I don’t really give cudos to Janelle for ‘winning comps against other all-stars’

Wasn’t Alison from BB4? I’ve read everywhere that her and Jun floated masterfully through BB4 to the end, and that she was selected for All-Stars because of that ability. If I’m wrong, then ok, I didn’t watch every single episode of Season 4. Going by what I’ve heard from more than a few places. I also don’t think Danielle or Erica were as strong competitors as many think, but of course that’s just opinion. This season alone, from day 1, comes pretty close in my mind to the HG’s ability in comps. Daniele, Brendon, Jeff, Rachel is four. Dominic and Keith were likely if they stuck around long enough to prove it.
And let’s also not forget that some players were selected based highly on just popularity. ie: ‘Hurricane Howie’.

Gets much easier to win stuff when there isn’t that many people left in the house. So it’s not really showing he can win competitions. I mean, his ‘competition’ is Kalia… Porsche… Kinda hard NOT to win.

Porsha is the biggest floater this year… She floats to the power…. She has gone full circle… Porsha was Rachel’s bff when she had power…. Porsha was Dani’s bff when she had power… Porsha was Kalia’s bff when she had power….. People say Kalia was lucky with her wins….., Porsha only won her POV because Jeff didn;t know he bthrew his clown shoe out the box and didn;t know it…. This led to her winning the HOH because Jeff was evicted….
At the end of the day, this game (BB) is draining and takes a toll on everyone…. Everyone who doesn;t make the Final 2 will be crying because of being so close and not getting there… This includes Adam shedding some tears if he comes up short….
I know many of you will just see a lot of bias in this but seriously I’m sick of all the talk of Kalia being a strong or even good competitor. She’s won two question/answer based games, the first of which she admitted to getting lucky with. She was a frightened child in hitting those buttons, you could see it and she admitted to it later. I understand competition isn’t just about physical/endurance, but ‘strong competitor’ also lies in the heart of a battler, the will to win, and I’ve seen her completely give up (took a break because she was ‘tired’ during the PoV comp the week she was HoH and Jeff won the Veto) and I’ve seen her look completely dead like she did on the Slalom HoH. Finished 2nd there, sure, but she didn’t have to move and again, looked like she was going to die. In ‘All Washed Up’ and ‘Rollin’ in the Dough’, her effort (nevermind speed of movement because I understand its hard when you’re not in the best shape and weighed down with goo) but her effort was simply not there. A true competitor would throw it all on the line even if it meant throwing up later due to not being in great shape. Her method in the Parachute Veto may have gotten her 2nd place to Rachel, but her method was pathetic because she couldn’t use her head long enough to think that ‘Hm, maybe I SHOULDN’T be going all-arms right now considering I DON’T have 26 inch pythons’.
Sorry, but being a better competitor than Adam and Porsche and Shelly doesn’t make you a strong competitor, Kalia. Especially not one who deserves to put themselves up there with anyone else including Brendon, Rachel, Dani, Jeff, etc. The way she talks it’s like she’s the most epic player of all time. Give me a break, and get lost already.
Regardless of her performance in competitions, she did well. She did make it to final 5, which to me is huge. From here out it’s luck of the draw. Very little room for big moves. Final 5 is where I start seeing players as “great.” Bow Kalia isn’t “great” but she is good. She did have a knack for winning crucial competitions. Also I don’t have feeds so her constant eating and talking had no effect on me. Lol.

Kalia along with her partner Lawon were no where to be seen the first four weeks. I don’t think anyone even realized they were in the house. They did absolutely nothing. She has no game of her own, probably would have been gone long ago if Dani had not screwed things up for the vets, and does not deserve to proceed any further.

Kalia is a columnist/reporter outside of BB. In her proofession, she is all about facts, research, and statistics. Those elements have taken her this far in the question competitions. She can also sound real convincing. Next to Shelly, Kalia has been playing both sides at her convenience when she’s not in the HOH room eating all of the Head of Household’s food for the week. I’m concerned that she’ll wear Adam down or she will get Porsche to work on Adam ’til he cracks.

Rachel- As much as an annoying ugly bitch she is, she is good at competitions and has a good shot to win this thing, honestly I would vote for her over Adam,Porsche,and Jordan.
Jordan- Oh lord, the sweet and kind girl who never lies or backstabs, BORING!. She has brought nothing to this game but ride Jeff and eventually ride Rachel, she does not deserve to win. But she deserves to win over Adam because at least she is playing for herself.
Porsche- At first I wanted her to be the first one evicted and her alligance to Rachel was painful to watch. She eventually jumped with Kalia and Dani,has been playing a better game ever since, I wont mind if she wins.
Kalia- She really has not done much this season either, except taking out Jeff. Kalia is good at competitions and has had a decent social game, out of the five that is left she deserves to win.

Oh my gosh! Kalia is schizzo! In one breath she says what a great competitor she is, how she doesn’t deserve to be evicted because she’s won so many competitions, and in the other she wonders why they think she’s such a great competitor and threat. She’s really losing it! She thinks awfully highly of herself undervedly. And all that crying and talking to herself she’s doing. Wallowing in self pity is so unattractive!
I seriously doubt Adam will use the POV. It does not help him in anyway. Rachel and Jordan are allies, and Porsche and Kalia are allies. Both teams would take one another to final 2 if given the opportunity. His game is not benefitted with either choice in anyway. He’s 3 man out. His best bet is as a man, he has the advantage of brute power and may have an advantage in the final 3 part competition, and then he chooses who he wants to take to final 2. If I were him, I’d much rather go to the end with two likable people, Jordan and Rachel, than two really obnoxious people, specially Kalia.
As a superfan, I think Adam considers himself a winner already, and the money not as important as the experience of being in the cast. Think of all he’s already accomplished. Met Tori Spelling. Got to hang out and become friends with Jeff, meet Evil Dick, etc. etc. I believe he’d rather sit next to Rachel or Jordan, rather than one of those 2 Newbies. Kalia voted to evict him. Porsche agreed cause she was HOH. They have both already betrayed him. It’s fresh in his mind. He’d be a fool to turn his back on the people who have kept him safe. The veto will protect him from being put up for eviction, pawn or not. Winning veto guarantees him a place in the top 4, and a chance to fight for top 3. Why jeopardize that?

Almost sure Kalia will go home. Both Rachel and Adam favor her, and Jordan’s the only one who’s had a relationship with Kalia. She’s so sweet, she may feel sorry enough for her to give her a vote, but if Adam votes for Porsche, then Rachel casts her vote, most likely for Porsche to stay. Will take a major miracle for Kalia to not be evicted, and hopefully, Porsche will not win the HOH this week, cause she will put Rachel and Jordan up. I’d hate to see Rachel go home. She’s the only person left in the house who deserves to win the season. Of course, she could win the POV, and take herself off. I hope it doesn’t come to that.

It just so happened that the week they were revealing the first twist Rachel was up for eviction, had someone else won hoh and nominations were different, than people would not be saying this. I’m sure they didn’t sequester the first 3 evictees just in case Rachel ended up on the block. It is purely coincidental that things unfolded as they did. There is always some kind of twist every season, it’s not as though this is the first time EVER bb has had a twist. It is also not the first time Pandora’s Box has changed the game, if someone else won the veto it would not have benefited R&J. And don’t give me that bs that the veto was “made” for Rachel. Kalia came close to getting it, Porsche did very well in the first hoh comp, which was similar. And don’t even get me started on how all season everyone said that they threw the first hoh comp, so the veto was anyone’s game.

Can someone clarify the POV rules for me? I thought if you have POV then whomever you use it on is safe. If you take someone off the block, then are you not at risk of being put up on the block as the replacement?
You’re right. The veto holder and the one they take off are both safe.
If you win POV and you ARE a nominee you can save yourself, if you choose to save the other nominee you remain on the block. If you ARE NOT a nominee and you choose to save one of the nominees you are also safe from eviction.
I am worried Rachel won’t have the votes in the jury house. Right now the only vote I think she would have is Brenden if she goes all the way with Jordan.
When Jordan went against Natalie, Natalie not only didn’t win anything, but it was obvious she was throwing comps. I think if Rachel went against Jordan that it would be a good choice. They will respect the game she played and vote her instead of Jordan. If she took a newbie like Adam I think the result would be different. Her best bet is to go with Jordan.
i think no matter who Rachel goes with she will win. I think that most of the jury members will appreciate what a great game she has played and realize she deserves to win. I dont think they all “really” hate her anymore. I hope she wins she deserves it more than any of them.

I agree with Beachmomma. I doesn’t make any difference on the sex thing. All that does is draw people in for the live feeds. BB has stopped Showtime from showing anything. Every once in a while you see J in a bikini or R but they are covered up with a towel or something. And as far as R goes as possibly being pregnant, at least she will know who the father is. So big deal.

In an RJ final R has a very good game argument both social and physical, whereas J’s argument is what, I rode Jeff’s coattails, and then road Rachels when Jeff got evicted. I agree w/you Jammer…I don’t have anything against Jordon, but this season, she really hasn’t done all that much. Her HOH hmmm possibly she could have won it..we’ll never know since Jeff & Brendan obviously threw it to her since after she got the ball in the “3” hole they didn’t even bother to try & just smacked the ball out off the game completely. She only won the luxury comp (David Hosselhoff), other than that nothing, whereas Rachael has been on the block several times & managed to not only survive but won 3 HOH’s & a POV this season. She deserves to win it over all whose left but will she…unfortunately I don’t think so, but I’m hoping.

Dani (Aka: The ultimate hypocrite.) would not vote for Rachel, regardless of how many comps she ends up winning. Even if it resulted in world peace.
They made up before Dani left, they both apologized for everything they had done.
Dani also said on her eviction speech that she would not hand over another $500k to Jordan. She also called Adam the worst player in BB history, so it’s R/J or R/A F2 Dani I think would vote for R.
Rules of Veto are simple if you win veto and decide to use it on one of the noms then they are safe as well as you. Unless a special veto or twist is involved that is the way the rules apply.
Adam should have let himself stuck in this bad position by winning the POV.
If he uses it, he will lose 4 Jury Votes.
If he doesn’t use it, he will lose 3 Jury Votes.
Tough decision there, Adam. Hope you can pull this off.
Best case for him will be – not use it, Porshe win HOH and POV next week and the week after. The vets then will vote for him to win !
I don’t think he will lose ANY Jury votes by getting rid of Jordan. Alot of the people in the Jury house will be voting in strategy, not grudges. And besides, people say if he eliminates Jordan, he’ll have no votes, but it works two ways. Does that mean if he’s next to Kalia, Kalia will win 7-0 because Adam got rid of Jordan? I doubt it. Jury members have to vote for “Someone” and it’d likely be one of their own aliance members making a near end game move to benefit himself, then someone from the opposite alliance. People call Adam a floater, but when has he actually detahced his lips from Jeffs ass?

If Adam uses the veto either on Kalia or porsche then he screws himself out of any money whatsoever. Best case scenario is not to use it and send Kalia packing. Then him and Jordan basically are against Porsche for HoH. Then say Porsche wins she’ll likely put up Jordan and Rachel. Even one of them wins he goes packing cause either one will keep the other that way they can play in final HoH and send Porsche packing if they win. Three evictions this week people. On a different note, on the CBS BB website from previous years, they had a photo forum where very talented viewers sent in photo-shopped pics of the HGs. Does anyone know if such a forum still exists? Those photos use to give me one heck of a laugh. I don’t tweet, twit, twat, twiddle or put my face in someone’s book so would not be able to view such photos there. Any other place I might find them?

I agree Rachel has worked very hard and is good at competitions. But I think the producers have really had a hand in everything from bringing back Brendon (do we really believe the voting was for Brendon?). Then Kalia putting up Lawon vs Jordan and ensuring a vet went home, and then the pandora’s box with the twist. In the past when someone opened pandor’s box there was usually a reward for the HOH and then the HG’s had a penalty like cold showers or slop. Putting in the duo was the only way the producers could even give Rachel and Jordan a chance to make it to the end. Lets be real here. Rachel is playing hard but the producers are orchastrating all the extra chances.

The only way for a newbie not to go home this week is for Adam to have won pov and use it to take either porsche or kalia off–then Jordan goes up and gets voted out. Then it is Rachel against 3 remaining newbies and even if she wins all remaining competitions at least one newbie will be in final 2 and would probably win. If Adam does not use the veto and goes along with the vets then he is responsible for them winning and he comes in third–if he uses veto he at least has a chance to get to final 2.

Adam is already happy as he himself said, he got to meet Tori Spelling & she kissed his stupid duck, he said that was worth everything, I don’t think he’d be all that unhappy if he didn’t make it to F2 now.
I really can’t believe there are still people that believe this is an honest game and not rigged. What does it take, a baseball bat to the head for you all to see that the competitions are rigged whenever the producers feel they need to do it to keep the ratings up? What is really disturbing is that most of the competitors actually think they had a chance to win, when they never stood a chance at all. I have only watched the show for 3 or 4 years, but it has gone down hill from the first year I started watching it. If all reality shows are this rigged than it shows people are really sheep in this country.
Hey jeff may have went ahead and gave hoh to jordan but that doesnt mean he would have got a better number.

sad that people cannot admit and give Kalia credit for winning and doing better in the game then Jordan Adam and Shelly, vet rachel and newbie kalia should be in the final two

I am so glad SOMEONE else sees that! Jordan has done nothing in this game except take an HOH that was handed to her. Even still, Jeff was the “brains” behind that one. All she does is look at herself and play with her bangs. Adam is useless. He won’t use the veto. Porsche…..
This season has deteriorated badly! I would love to see Adam use that veto just to shake things up. Jordan has already won once by doing little to nothing so someone else should have a chance. I think Porsche is a good person. She was truly with Rach until she started going crazy behind Brendon being eliminated the first time. I think it scared her. It surely was frightening to me! I think Brendon and Rachel are much better people separate than together.
OK, I get the writer HATES Rachel, Jeff, Brendon, blah blah. It’s hard reading the column anymore because it’s like reading a political column that can’t hide any of their partisan politics, whether it be left or right. I get you have a point of view, but enough already. Personally, I think the Donatos are two of the worst individuals (in the real world — not in game play) that I have ever watched on reality tv, or any tv. Truly bad moral people, ESPECIALLY the way the acted the first time around. That CBS has such a crush on them is an indictment on them. So, as much as Rachel is a beotch, sometimes it is the best between two evils. Maybe the house will just implode (hurray!), but getting true jerks out of any game is good enuff for me. So, I for one love that at least one Donota (not the worst one) is out, and the other one never got the chance to play. Kharma?
I dont know the Donoto’s outside BB game, so I cannot respond to their personal lives or morals, but ED was a great strategist, Dani was not. Dani was good at comps. ED was not. They needed each other. Together they were a great team in BB. Dani’s problem this season was Daddy left & she so badly wanted to make a “Big” move cuz she was bored or whatever, that she screwed herself. Her move was made way too early. She should have waited longer to make her “Big” move. I think even she admits to that now. It backfired on her & unfortunately she was left then to work w/2 newbies who were not as strong and couldn’t protect her when she needed them to. That was Dani’s downfall. I personally would have loved to see an all out battle among Jeff/Brendon/Rachael/Dani to see who would have came out the winner. That said, I didn’t like the concept of Duo Vet pairs this season. I could accept it if it was like when Jesse came back on BB11. He was only vet in the BB house against all newbies. That was ok, but Vet pairs mixed w/newbie pairs was awful…especially w/this bunch. Outside of Dominick & Kahlia & Porsche, none of em were IMO able to do much. They had the #’s , but they just couldn’t get it together. They should have “united” as a whole instead of picking only certain newbies into alliance. They deliberately left Kahlia, Shelly & Lawon out of the alliance. Then Keith goes stupid & calls out Kahlia week one. The newbies had no chance from the beginning because they were not “united”. It wasn’t until Dani took Kahlia & Porsche under her wing & educated them on how to play that either of them started to play the game.Next season I hope BB doesn’t pull this mix thing again, either all newbies or all vets.

When she turned on the machine if she asked for a power to save someone that was nominated, she would receive the diamond power of veto.
Strangely nobody tryed to use the machine… when i saw shelly moving around it and so much time on a 1 hour tv episode, i know that something is wrong with it. They cutted the discussions on the backyard and gave a big space just for shelly staying 4 hours trying to find out the secret. She didn´t made the question… the one that makes it will get the power.
If nobody finds it, i bet that the last competition will be letting the final 3 to scorch the house trying to find the HOH key… and the key will be dropped by the machine after someone asks for it.
I just want to say I am proud of Rachiel, yeah sure Rachiel did her crying about Brendon leaving, but she’s up playing the best game ever , Rachiel is a good player, why should she not have the same chance of winning the gameas anyone else.for all of you Rachiel haters ……get a backbone. Porsha isn’t any better of a player…..and now kalia thinks she has played the best games over everyone…..get real kalia. my vote is for Rachiel.she deserves to win also
was not a Rachel fan this season but i do believe since Brendon left the second time she has improved in her game player but Kalia who started out as a newbie has improved in her game play and i am sure she would have seen the danger in playing pandora’s box and not played it like Porsha. Adam is brain dead if he thinks he has a better chance with the 2vets better stick with the newbies. make a big game move for once or is floating from side to side your big move
has everyone forgotten we are stuck with the worst BB since episode 1. bring back the vets and take them to the final two? oohh come on ppl. what happened to game and fair game? i was receiving emails back when they were looking for contestants and i thought they would come up with a good shoaw, “wrong”
i agree, jordan is the truest of them all she’s a sweetie, i love her “fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me” so cute but she doesnt win anything.
and what about Jeff’s face in the jury house he was stunned and so amazed and ticked off that someone had the NERVE to vote him off lol, needless to say, BB really ruined what could have been a great season 13 of BB 13.
during porche’s interview with one of the BB staff she said, ” i have the ability to say things and make people do as i want them to” what was that all about?

It would be something if Adam finally got some strength and won the game. I think he has been holding out. He was the first to fall off the “dummy partner” I thought he was throwing that competition. He just can’t be that weak! I think he and Shelly played the game well because they kept switching sides. Also, I thought this game was about winning for yourself and not helping another person win.
