The Power of Veto Ceremony will be held later today on Big Brother 16 as the season’s Final Five HGs come together for nearly the last meeting of the season with an important choice to be made.
As the week was rewound due to the button-pushing twist the Houseguests had to compete again in all the same challenges and the pressure was intense. Their battle is over and the war is nearly won after weeks of passing up their opportunity to go for a big target. But would they let him slip away again?
Update: CBS says BB16 will be delayed until 8:51PM ET (8:00 PM PT) due to NFL overrun
The season is winding down, but the Big Brother 16 house is about to get a shock when the Jury returns! Yes, it’s a Zach Attack special event when the Jurors come back to wreak havoc all in the name of a luxury prize. Oh, and there is a major HoH competition and Nomination Ceremony too.
Tonight’s show is delayed until 8:30PM ET, so adjust your schedules. Yes, so you’ll be seeing Zach, Donny, Nicole, Hayden, Jocasta, and Christine back in the house as they surprised the remaining F5 with a luxury comp. One lucky pair of Juror and HG walked away with $5K and one heck of a trashed house.
Before the craziness of the surprise comp the HGs had to crown a new Head of Household as part of the Big Brother Rewind. Was Frankie able to retain his control of the big power or would he fall vulnerable to eviction? We’ll get to see how the rest of the comp played out from Thursday night.
The Nomination Ceremony brought it’s own drama when the house had to decide if it was going to go after a big target or would it be time to finally get Victoria out the door? Lots of drama ahead in tonight’s episode so do not miss it! Can’t wait to find out? Visit our Spoilers Board right now for the latest.
A very sleepy day for the Houseguests after a late night of anxious energy following the Power of Veto competition. HGs didn’t get up for the day until well in to the afternoon but there was soon plotting and planning for not just this upcoming eviction but the one to follow. Good thing too as they don’t know there will be back to back evictions on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Find out what else happened on the Big Brother Feeds in the house yesterday.
Big Brother 16 Live Feed Highlights – Saturday, September 13, 2014:
Last night on the Big Brother Feeds we saw Caleb Reynolds start to position his pieces for a run at the Final Two by working on Cody Calafiore that they should both be looking to sit beside each other and not an “easy win” like taking Derrick Levasseur.
It didn’t take long for Caleb’s boasting and plans to take Cody to F2 to work their way back to Derrick through Victoria. Once alerted to the situation Derrick quickly went to work to do what many of us have expected for awhile and as he’s hinted to Cody along the way. Time to get rid of Caleb.
Flashback to 1:53AM BBT 9/13 Cams 3/4 as Derrick and Cody settle in for a discussion while Caleb is in the DR. Derrick might be trying to sniff out hints of betrayal by Cody regarding Caleb’s offer when he brings up talk of how they can make sure the two of them are F2. Cody doesn’t try to hide anything and opens up about his conversation with Caleb.
With the Power of Veto competition out of the way the guys are moving on to plotting their next moves on Big Brother 16. Caleb is way, way ahead of that and already counting his winnings as he makes F2 deals that could trip him up on his way to finale night.
Caleb started working Cody on making sure they were the Final Two in a private talk last night where he pushed the angle of going to the end against a real competitor is a better win than going there against someone like Derrick. Seriously. He said that.
Flashback to 9:55PM BBT 9/12 Cams 1/2. Caleb is telling Cody that he’d rather go to the end with a toss-up decision than to go there with an easy win like he says there would be with Derrick. Caleb suggests that every season someone like Derrick gets to the end because everyone knows they can beat that player. Oh, my goodness. Caleb is going to be shocked if/when Derrick wins this whole thing.
Caleb continues to rattle off why it’s such a better game for the two of them, as “beasts,” to get to the end as it will amaze the audience who expected them to be the first ones to go this season. Cody is agreeing with Caleb all along the way, but would he relay this conversation back to Derrick? Yes, but more on that later.
Fast forward to 10:22PM BBT as Caleb is talking with Victoria about F2 scenarios and specifically F2 with Cody. He’s running through who he thinks would vote for him at the end if he were up against Cody. This is funny. Caleb is sure Derrick would vote for him over Cody. Oh, Caleb.
When the Big Brother Rewind twist hit the game it gave the HGs an extra chance to go after one of the season’s top competitors: Frankie Grande. Now that the week’s comps are over and a special eviction is arriving early the Veto will complete its role and the HGs will move one step closer to their goal.
The Power of Veto’s return to the Big Brother Freakshow was completed last night and it brought a whirlwind of results with a serious shake up in the player performances and rankings. So with the results confirmed, will this be the week be the end of Frankie Grande’s game?
