The Big Brother 16 Houseguests got a surprise this morning when the doorbell sounded and a new HG entered the game. A four-legged one, that is. Meet Izzy the dog.
Izzy won’t be staying long, but she’s here to brighten up the house and the Live Feeds for the day so that’s pretty cool. Everyone is having a great time with her and enjoying the added excitement as things are winding down for the end of the season.
Flashback to 9:04AM BBT this morning (get the Free Trial now to watch) as the doorbell rings and HGs excitedly gather around to see who has arrived. The door opens and in walks Izzy. She’s bearing a card that tells the HGs the Feedsters have voted her in to their life for the day.
HGs are immediately overwhelmed and gather around Izzy to welcome her to her temporary home. Lots of hugs from the HGs and kisses from Izzy in return. We’ll keep watching to see what Izzy gets up to, but other than the pool, stairs, and human food she looks to have free run of the house.

Derrick wondered aloud if this was the first time a dog has been in the Big Brother house. Definitely not. Fans that remember Big Brother season one are sure to recognize Chiquita, the Pug who stayed with the HGs for a bit. Here’s a video of a challenge where they had to find Chiquita in a flood of other Pug dogs. It was a very cute event.

Even the “Top Dog” (pun intended) Derrick didn’t remember the B episode when the houseguest had a dog in the houseguest. Lol!!! He is supposed to be a BB superfan!!!
Derrick is a ‘superfan’ from like season 11 on. He hasn’t watched all seasons, and has said so multiple times. Didn’t even really know who Dr Will was…
Pretty sure PETA or the ASPCA will claim cruelty to animals for putting a nice sweet clean dog in with these filthy beasts. Izzy, stay far away from Skankie. You don’t want to catch what he has!
