Wow, Chill!  Every one of your posts in this topic (and many others) is a little  derogatory and demeaning towards a certain segment of our culture.  I think it makes perfect sense for CBS to give one slot on TAR to represent roughly 10% of the population.  Two slots are given to African Americans, is this an outrage to you, too?  It's apparent that the viewers want to see diversity on this show, that is why you see the “queens” and “lezbos” season after season.  I just can't help to stop and think of a famous Shakespearean quote, “The “gentleman” doth protest too much, methinks.”

I think you pick the best number of teams  regardless of other crap

the majority of the people   except the left wing politically correct whackjobs who are all sensitive are the ones who wanna see diversity

I could care less if they are all gay, all black, all yellow or whatever   don't matter

what I do care about is the need for CBS to ram rod this alternative "lifestyle" crap down our throats

ok  here is a solution that will sit well with everyone  you say  there is nothing wrong with giving slots to 10% of the population 

ok   lets have 10% of Congress and the president's cabinet
10% of CEO's
10% of athletes
10% of priests
10% of everything  should be diverse and alternative

I want 10% diverse  and 10% alternate 

so 20% of everything  must be given to those groups   period    but   maybe that is wrong also 

10% would cover gays and lesbians
10% would cover minorities
what about the handicapped   we need another 10%    we are up to 30 now

in case you haven't followed my though yet   the point is  we are all 100% american   so stop with the segregation nonsense 

and that is exactly what it is when we try to "accomodate"

and I want FOX on board   why does Idol only pick good singers?  Why don't they choose some of the "10%" of bad singers ?

why do college and pro sports teams only pick good players   they need to have at least 10% of their roster as diverse sucky azz players

and we need to get Housing developments on board    no one can live anywhere   that does not have a diverse 10% neighborhood 

we don't need seperate programs for men and women  that is NOT diverse   merge em 

why do we have laws outlawing sodomy    that is a violation of some 10%'s rights   abolish it 

adultery  shouldn't be a sin    I am sure we have 10% who disagree with it     the atheists  are 10%   

bigamy should be legal    we have at least 10% who wanna "see that"   just like TAR

we should people able to cuss and slack off at work   10% of the time

next time I ride the bus or subway in Washington DC  I am doing a head count   and if I do not see a 10% ratio of minorities    then some people need off at the next stop 

and I am gonna ask for alternative lifestylers to speak up     if we don't have 10%   some other people need to get off  and we need to find some    maybe holler for some on the platform

and there better be an equal distribution of seating  there better be as many men sitting as women   as many young as old, as many minorities as alternates   and it better be 10% minimum

I have been enlightened   to the magic "10%" figure   as long as they only murder 10% of the total  I have no objections

and open up the slaughter to rhinos and elephants for ivory   they may be endangered  but after all   we are "only" taking 10%   

states with the death penalty can only kill   10% of death row people per year    the rest hafta wait

Look, man, don't even try to backtrack and say my post was about political correctness.  It was about your ignorant comments that are not welcome in any forum.  A forum by definition is a place for open discussion and all opinions are welcome, even encouraged, but there are rules that need to be followed.  One of the most common is “While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts.”  In your little world calling gay people “queens” and “lesbos” may not seem inflammatory, but it is.  I can assure you, I am not a lesbian, but I don't like to hear them called names of a demeaning nature.  KNOCK IT OFF!
