It's official, Amazing Race 16 premiers Sunday, February 14 at 8/7 pm.

This season of TAR should be interesting because Big Brother winner Jordan Lloyd and her fan-favorite boyfriend Jeff Schroeder will make up one of the 11 teams racing almost 40,000 miles on the 16th edition of the show.

yep   it was inevitable  political correctness run amuck

I hope for viewing purposes that TAR has found another set of gay brothers this year  or even better  if the 2 Cowboys have taken a page from Steven's book and wanna go for an 8 second ride at the pit stop

I wonder which one of the lezbos is the "manly" one     usually shown by the mullet   but in this case  no mullet to be seen  so I have to go with the gray hair (seniority)  and the lkil boy haircut

brb  off to puke up these 2 cups of coffee now

I just sent off my application tape today for the next season and I was wondering if anyone can answer this:has there ever been a guy/girl friend team. Not dating?I've only watched the past few seasons and my bf didn't want to do it so I applied with one of my guy friends. Anyone know?

since you would be a team of friends  that would be sufficient      you do not have to be a couple  or married  or gay even

a team is a team

and just my opinion, my esp with TAR, your chances of selection are greatly enhanced if you are an alternate lifestyle member and are willing to discuss it on TV   to boost ratings     like this years "queens"

Only takes 2...
I believe as we have seen in the prior seasons; Ya never know what your getting as far as a "couple" goes  Wink

** Choose wisely. The entire viewing audience will be watching not only you but your partner.

Thanks. I just can't think back to a team of guy/girl just friends. My friend wrote he has a secret crush on me so that could be an angle they'd want to go. And we've known each other years but not closely so it would be very interesting to throw us in not knowing how the other person is in high stress situations..maybe I'm just fooling myself into thinking we have a chance.

Tiffany, think positively that you and your friend have a chance to be chosen for the show. You've already taken the first step in sending in your application and I wish you luck.
